About this house rental

You will just love this wonderfully spacious, Lake Winnisquam Contemporary Cape with breathtaking lake views and spectacular sunrises! What better way to greet the morning than sipping coffee on the deck overlooking the lake while listening to the occasional loon from the nearby Loon Sanctuary. Lakefront amenities include 75' of water frontage, perched sandy beach and 40' private dock (new dock installed 2023). Excellent for large families and groups. Open concept main floor and bright kitchen, large dining area and vaulted living room with a wall of windows and door opening onto the wrap around deck (new deck installed 2023) capturing the gorgeous lake views! Main floor Master (King bed) with views and master bathroom. Also on the main floor is another full bath. Upstairs offers three more bedrooms (King, Queen and room with 2 full beds and a twin with an extra twin mattress available to use elsewhere in house), a full bath, and loft area. The walk out lower level features a rec/family room with pool table, sliders to patio overlooking yard and lake and the 5th bedroom (Queen) with lake views. New washer and dryer (2021) in basement. Replaced all mattresses within in 2020/2021. Plenty of parking and A/C for the occasional hot/humid weather. This home sleeps 13+. Dog fee is $200/stay, 2 dogs max.
The dock is taken out of the water around mid October. If your booking is in the fall, please ask if it is available. The lake is drawn down bi-annually on even numbered years (i.e 2024, 2026 etc.) Dock access after draw down is questionable. If you bring your own boat you will have to go to the public boat launch located on Water Street, Laconia. Two ramps, a floating dock – handicap accessible.

We had such an amazing time staying at the lake house for a relaxing adult only weekend. The house is absolutely beautiful and nestled in a nice private spot on the lake where you have access to the dock and beach. The water is SO clean and refreshing and the property is well maintained. the host and the property manager were incredibly communicative and pleasant to chat with - they even left a sweet treat for us to make at the fire pit! What an amazing destination that isn't too far from home for us, we would love to come back with our kids so they can enjoy it too!

We love staying here! It’s a beautiful house, with a good size deck, small backyard area good for cornhole and a fire in the fire pit. Great view of the water with a good size dock and nice little beach area.. Water area is a little rocky but not horrible.. we hope to stay every year! Check in is easy, Amy is very responsive and accommodating. Great spot!

Large and comfortable lake house with large well appointed kitchen. Large wraparound deck overlooking the lake with stunning views. We swam in the lake Memorial Day weekend—very refreshing especially after hiking one of the nearby mountains! We enjoyed the fire pit in the back yard. A great place for a large gathering of friends and family!

Great clean house! Plenty of room for everyone we had. House has a great layout for hosting friends and family. We were able to rent a boat and pulled right up to dock. Beach, yard and deck were great for yard games.

A little bit of heaven!

We had three generations stay at the house and there was plenty of room for all of us. My husband caught fish from the dock (catch and release) and my grandchildren loved swimming in the very clean water. We all played games together on the large table and we spent a great deal of time on the deck just admiring the beautiful views.

Great location deferred maintenance

The location is exceptional the house has some deferred maintenance issues. The beds were comfortable the kitchen was well appointed. Cleanliness was average. The deck was dirty as well as the picnic table. The gutters were clogged so rain spilled over in a heavy rain we got. There were a few broken windows and there were broken lawn chairs and toys strewn under the deck. The property has a lot of potential it just needs a makeover

Great place to stay

Our expectations were met when we wanted to surprise my dad for his birthday with fishing on the lake and this was perfect! He was able to just get up and go out after breakfast. Something he's always wanted to do. The kids really enjoyed the sand area and going into the lake, it was like being at the beach but better because it was private and just us. Already planning of when we could go back again to have a nice relaxing long weekend. Amy was a great host and was always readily available answering all my questions before, during and after my stay. Very much recommend this beautiful house for stays!

The house was the perfect size to fit out family! The kitchen was well stocked for appliances, the rooms were cozy, and the view was spectacular. The cleanliness of the house was okay but could be improved. Overall, we had a great experience.

All we had hoped for- except the weather.

Great quick weekend getaway with just my siblings and Mom. Weather kept us indoors but house was very well- appointed with all that we could have needed and plenty of room to spread out and have a comfortable night’s sleep. Host was very responsive and we really appreciated having the ability to check in early and not have to rush our departure. Would love to come again in the summer and enjoy the beautiful lake views from the great back porch or dock. Thanks Amy!!

House was exactly as described. Was looking for a family weekend getaway and this was perfect. Owner was quick to respond to emails. Pool table was great addition om a rainy day...we had a family pool tournament! Fireplace added that cozy touch! Place was clean and had everything we needed. Close to shopping and restaurants. And of course a great view!!

Enjoyable Girls Weekend

The property was absolutely beautiful! The living room and kitchen were open and we were all able to spend time with each other while cooking and relaxing. They had a great table that fit all 8 of us to play games and enjoy each others company. The bedrooms were great with very comfortable mattresses. I couldn't say enough about this property and we will be back.

Our family absolutely love this Lakehouse! There were seven adults and three young children and we all had a great time! Plenty of space for everyone, right on the water, beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything you could imagine.Amy was very responsive and answered all my questions before our stay. We would stay here again next year in a heartbeat!

Property was awesome. Very clean and secluded. Offered a good amount of privacy. Sits at the very end of a dead end. Open floor plan was great for family conversations. Only downfall was the steep stairs going down to the dock. We had a handicap person with us where this was a struggle but we highly enjoyed our stay!

While the weather did not cooperate and was in the 50s all weekend, so glad the house was so spacious that we could cook (kitchen had everything you could need!), play games and just hang out with all 11 of us. We used the pool table quite a bit too! Beds were really comfy too! Already planning a girls getaway in the fall.

Our group had an absolute blast renting this house & snowboarding at Gunstock all weekend! The house was perfect for our group & our activities. It provided a ton of supplies along with all the supplies we also brought. Would definitely rent again and so thankful for the owner who was so helpful & easily accessible throughout the whole process. Everything was great. Myself and daughter met up with my sister, her family and our parents. There was more than enough room for everyone. It was nice that there were two living rooms, Gave adults time upstairs and children downstairs with the pool table and board games. The lake is so clean. The stairs into the lake on the rocks was very amazing. I recommend water shoes and tubes to float on. This is a must visit lake house, you will not be disappointed.
