It was a pleasant place to stay and conveniently located for someone relying on public transport.

Breakfast was good. The set up in the dining area was very cute. The proprietor appeared to be quite accommodating to people’s preferences and dietary restrictions.

The toilet could be a bit difficult to flush.

The place was very homey. The location was quiet and isolated from the busy street yet very convenient to go to key places. Helen was such a good host and make sure that you have a lovely stay. She will even recommend places to go to.

Fabulous B & B!!!

Evelyn is the best host! 👏👍 She’s wonderful and accommodating. Serves great and delicious breakfast. Great location within few minutes to shops, restaurants and tourist spots. We’ll definitely come back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Welcoming, friendly, good value in a great location.

Dunvegan is a lovely and cosy guest house. Evelyn is an excellent host and nothing is too much trouble. She arranged a little surprise in our room for my husband’s 80th, going out of her way to buy banners, balloons, chocs, wine and cake. Very knowledgeable of the area and lovely breakfast. Close to local transport.

Only negative was that we would have preferred breakfast a little later this would have suited us better as breakfast is served 8.30, that said we would definitely stay again

Home comforts in a great location hosted by a lovely owner.

Great location, close the centre of Windermere village, good restaurants/bars at the end of the road. A decent walk down to Bowness and the lake but worth the steps with plenty to see/do. Very quiet, couldn't hear any unwnated noise (apart from our dog). Pet friendly which was a bonus as was the free parking at the rear. Evelyn was great and very friendly, would recommend staying here.

Fabulous

The b & b is about 10 minutes walk from the train station so very handy. We found some lovely restaurants and pubs just round the corner from the b and b. We loved cafe Italia! Its about a mile walk to the lake and great for buses. Everlynn who runs the b & b is so helpful, nothing is too much trouble and thanks for the lovely breakfast. All in all fantastic value! Thank you Everlynn x

Great place to stay in Windermere

Evelyn the owner was very friendly, took an interest in all guests and made suggestions for where was good to eat and go out. Room lovely and clean, everything we needed was there. Breakfast freshly cooked and was lovely. Location of the B&B great for the centre of Windermere. All in all a really good place to stay.

Evelyn was a true delight, the location was excellent, and our room was so comfortable.

Evelyn was a very friendly, welcoming host who immediately helped to make our time in the Lake District enjoyable. Our stay was so comfortable, homey and breakfast was a much appreciated inclusion. The BnB’s location is fantastic for being on a quiet street, with Windermere town just up the street, and a close walk (15-20 mins) down to Bowness. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience!

Great weekend break. Perfect location.

Evelyn was a lovely host. Really chatty and helpful, giving us some great tips for numerous walks/locations/bars and restaurants/best routes etc. This is a fabulous location in the centre of Windermere with 24/7 FREE street parking or private parking at the rear of the property. Breakfast served daily at 8.30. All in all, it made for a stress free lovely long weekend.

lovely staycation in the Lakes.

Host was lovely and friendly. Evelyn was very helpful I left a charger for my device at home and she allowed me to use hers. Room and bathroom was very clean. A short walk and there were restaurants for your evening meal. The walk to the lake is about 20-25 minutes.
