Located in Oconee County near the middle of Lake Keowee, Magnolia Place is located off of Knox Road and Highway 188, approximately eight miles from Seneca and Walhalla. Magnolia Place has a beautiful view of the beautiful lake and the mountain ranges.
This three-level, brick home features 7 bedrooms, five full baths, one half bath, and two separate shower rooms in additional to the living room, entertainment area, bonus room and much more. Magnolia Place was set up with the vacation renter in mind and what any family, friends, and guests would need in a home away from home.
MAIN FLOOR:
Magnolia Place features over 5000 sq ft on three floors. The main floor has a living room, big screen Smart TV' perfect for watching the game, comfortable seating to enjoy quiet time, and the views of the lake while bathed in light from the many windows facing the great outdoors. Doors lead from the living room to a sunroom and deck facing the lake, perfect for enjoying meals al fresco while simultaneously basking in the outdoors.
The master bedroom suite has a king bed, and a large walk-in closet, and ensuite bathroom. It has an amazing lake view, and access to the deck, through patio doors and connects to the main sunroom. The main level also has two additional bedrooms, bath, and laundry room, and access to a 2 car garage. The two bedrooms share a bath on this split bedroom design, and there is one bedroom with a king bed with lake views, and another with a queen bed.
TOP FLOOR:
Upstairs, the top floor has a loft area complete with a second tv entertainment area, with large smart TV, and is one of the two places the kids can hook up their game system. The loft also features a tucked away desk for anyone needing to having some quiet study or work dedicated area. Also on this floor are two bedroom suites off of the loft area, each complete with private baths.
GROUND FLOOR:
The ground level has a walkout French patio door, with easy access to the boat dock from this level. There is a second outdoor patio space, wonderful for quietly taking in the lovely outdoors. There is one full bath, one half-bath and two separate shower rooms on the lower level with easy access when coming in from the lake. Two additional bedrooms face the lake for more enjoyment. One connects to a full bath and the other sits beside the half bath. A family room and billiard room provide extra room for entertainment and enjoyment, include a pool table, foosball table, chess table, and large smart TV, visible from the billiard table.
OUTDOORS:
A large covered dock sits in the water, with room for two extra boats to be tied up. The swim deck has eight feet uncovered and four feet covered for both plenty of sun and shade to make everyone happy. The use of the dock is free for our guests. A sunroom and two decks off of the house provide great spaces to relax and enjoy meals. Parking for six-eight cars is available, 1 in the garage, 4 more on main level outside the garage and additional parking behind the house for boat trailers and more.

This home will sleep a large family, but limited to 16. We limit the number of people to 16, even though the house will sleep more than this. House has septic tank and number of people is limited to 16 due to this.
Our guests' stay at Magnolia Place is complete with the cleaning and bed linen service provided. Guests are asked to leave the home in good condition with the kitchen clean at checkout. Towels are available for guests' usage, but guests are required to launder used towels the night before departure. The cleaning service will take care of general cleaning after checkout, so please plan to depart punctually.
Items Provided: Guests will find all dishes and pans sufficient for 16 people in kitchen. Arrivals will find starter rolls of toilet paper in each bath, starter rolls of paper towels in kitchen, laundry detergent for towels in 2 laundry rooms, and kitchen dish-washing soap, anti-bacterial soap at each bathroom sink, all necessary bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, sufficient for 16 people. We do not provide personal hygiene items and guests should still plan for stocking up on paper goods and necessary items.
Cancellations. Our rule for all rentals is that guests can cancel any time until 30 days before reservation if needed for summer rentals. If you have to cancel less than 30 days before reservation, if we are able to re-rent the week, you will receive a full refund. Cancellation less than 30 days out, guests will forfeit upfront rental monies if we are not able to re-rent that week. Off-season cancellations are 30 days in advance as well.

We had our yearly extended family summer vacay with 16 people! The home is amazing with more than enough spaces! The kitchen gad everything you needed to cook including a large crockpot and Dutch ovens- a brewpot and keurig for coffee! The pool table got a lot of use as did the dock! The dock had sunny and shady areas and is very nice. We brought our water mat and spent a lot of time in the lake! Would definitely recommend this place as a prime vacation spot!

This is the third time we’ve stayed at this house, as a family, at Lake Keowee . This is the first time we’ve stayed since it’s been remodeled and updated! We especially enjoyed the large room addition at the back of the house with the dining table as it was a wonderful place to gather several times a day as we ate meals together and played games together in the evenings. There is plenty of room to spread out and enough bathrooms that everyone is accommodated well—we look forward to another visit in the future!

We really enjoyed our “Thanksgiving Week” stay at your beautiful, 7-bedroom, home on Lake Keowee. The home was very clean, kitchen well stocked, bedrooms & living area well-furnished to accommodate our family of 12. We practically enjoyed the beautiful lake view while playing games on your large, enclosed, sunroom. The 3-floors provided more than enough space for family gatherings, small grouping; as well as quiet alone time. Your immediate response when we contacted you was greatly appreciated.
I strongly suggest that you change your “Wash & Dry Towells - Before Check Out” policy. Had not 10 of our family departed on Sunday, a day early, there is no way this would have been done; and even then, it placed an extreme, unnecessary burden on my 80 year old partner. We would never abide by that policy again.

So we stayed at this house on the lake that looked recently updated on the inside and outside. And the large well landscaped yard on a quiet cul de sac was an added bonus. Oh, and as nice as the large family room was with vaulted ceilings, during the day it's hard not to gather in the spacious sunroom, with the windows offering a panoramic view of Lake Keowee. We loved our stay at Walker Point. The house is beautiful and the lake was perfect. Check-in was seamless and check-out was easy. Our group enjoyed the large house and there was plenty of space for us to not be on top of each other. The kitchen was wonderful for our shared meals with each other. The upgrades to the porch and kitchen were wonderful surprises when we arrived!

This property appears to be a work in progress. The dock was great for swimming and accommodated our ski boat. It is a great size with lots of spaces for a large family to spread out. There is a fabulous brand new enclosed deck room with a fantastic view. The main floor is nicely decorated and there are all new kitchen cabinets, different from the pictures. What wasn't so great is that neither of the 2 refrigerators produced enough ice. The one in the lower level wasn't producing ice at all plus the temp couldn't be adjusted so it froze drinks and 1 exploded. The main freezer only dropped a little ice a couple times a day. The lower level of house is in rough shape from years of hard use. The pictured TV was missing from the "media" room and all cues for the pool table were missing felt and most were bowed. There was mildew on shower curtains in bathrooms. Also frustrating was that the email we received stated checkout time was 11:00 AM yet cleaning crew appeared at 10:00 AM. They ask guests to launder towels prior to departing and we were waiting for them to dry along with finishing the dishwasher cycle. So beware of the erroneous times!

This is the second time we've stayed at this home. The first time was in 2021 while under different ownership. We loved the home then. The home has been significantly updated/upgraded with beautiful main room furniture, an awesome deck, 4-season room with amazing Lake views, new bedroom furniture in upstairs and ground level, fresh paint, etc. Scott was super respondent and really helped make our stay memorable. We had a party of 13 and could easily manage more people. We will be back

We loved the roominess of the house. It was large enough for our family get together so we all had our own space to sleep and retreat ( if needed)! The beds are very comfortable as well as all the other furniture.
The location on the lake is perfect. It is in a cove so there is not a lot of boat traffic going past the house. I felt very comfortable when we were in the lake right off the dock playing with the kids. I enjoyed watching the the spectacular sun rise in the morning either sitting on the back deck or on the dock.

One room in the basement had changed from the pictures and is now bunk beds but this didn't affect me personally, just another couple who stayed in that room. We were pleasantly surprised to see the new updated stainless appliances which were also different from the pictures. Overall, good stay and the house seemed fairly well clean and well taken care of. Could tell the bug exterminator had been by recently. Also I assume a previous tenant left a broken light bulb outside NEAR the trash can but I didn't bother messing with it since it was shattered and laying near the trash cans. Thanks for the accommodations!

We had a wonderful weeks stay on Lake Keeowee that was made all the better by the wonderful accommodations. Lots of room, great location on the main part of the lake, ample parking for those staying and those that came in for dinner, which we hosted for a family reunion on the last two nights of our stay. Only hitch was how the group that stayed before us didn't do much to keep the place clean - took Kat overtime to clean up the mess they made. Kat was super - great communication and didn't leave until everything was just right. Much appreciated. Would gladly stay again if we head back down in the future.
