About this apartment rental
Modern and warm it has been renovated with taste for our own use.
Wood floor tile, slate wall and high quality materials give it a rustic-chic upscale look.
It is equipped for 4 people in the following way:
* entrance with storage and space for ski boots
* a closed modular room (with window):
1 / with a 80x190 bed for one person and a play area for children
2 / a second bed (trundle) offering two separate beds 80x190
3 / or a 160x190 bed for a couple with memory foam mattress
The room is equipped with several storage & night table
* a living room / stay:
- with 1 retractable bed (space saving) offering a bed 160x200 with memory foam mattress. The bed easily folds on the sofa without having to remove the sheets and comforter.
- plenty of storage space and an LED reading light next to the sofa for your evenings reading.
- 3D cinema Smart TV connected web
- bluetooth soundbar to listen to your favorite music stored in your phone or tablet
- large bay window for an exceptional view of the mountains. The balcony is equipped with a chaise longue and table + 2 chairs
* dining area with table (4/5 people) and chairs for all the necessary comfort and Nespresso coffee space
* a fully equipped kitchen with a real built-in modern microwave / oven, integrated dishwasher etc....

A ski room on the ground floor for your departure and arrival on skis. Ski in ski out.
The district of Falaise is prized for its location close to the car parks and unloading platform. It is a quiet area with bakery, supermarket and restaurants and shopping at the bottom of the residence.
This apartment with high quality services will give you all satisfaction for holidays with family or friends successful.

We previously stayed at the apartment in 2018 and had been really impressed by the location, the quality of the apartment and the check in process, so were keen to re-book this year when coming back to Avoriaz.
Things started poorly with the check in process. We drove to Avoriaz from the UK and based our arrival time on the check-in times given to us for the booking. On calling the owners concierge to inform him we were around 1 hour away, we were told the property would not be ready until 3 hours after the check-in time.
When we did get into the property, it had not been cleaned, and was in a poor state of repair. Cupboards we broken and not possible to close, door handles falling off of the toilet door, and plugs & light switches that were coming away from the walls.
On our first stay at this property we loved it, and found it to be in a good condition. 5 years later it is all looking rough round the edges.
The location of the apartment is fantastic. It is next-door to the underground carpark, there is a Sherpa supermarket attached to the building, and a boulangerie opposite. The view of Les Hauts-Forts from the balcony are spectacular.
From the apartment it is easy to ski to the main part of town for all the local ski schools.
If the apartment is given some renovation, we would consider coming back. But in it's current state, we would be looking at other apartments in the same area.

We’ve been coming to this area for over 20 years, and this apartment is not up to standard when it’s over €1000 euros for the week. Prior to arrival, the owner’s phone number is incorrect. No answer on call or WhatsApp.
Extractor fan didn’t work and owner didn’t reply to the agent to get it working. We had to open both doors to keep apartment clear whenever we cooked (because of this, we couldn’t cook as often as we liked). Not ideal when it was -10 on the first morning!
Door handle missing from toilet, shower door didn’t close properly. Lighting in kitchen was appalling and hard to see food prep area.
No welcome guide especially for oven which was only in French and even with Translate app, we couldn’t get it working easily.
If you charge €1000’s for a week, please fix these things before others stay there.
The agent in Avoriaz (not owner) was very helpful but these problems should not be seen in the first place

The booking of this property was simple enough and we were given some details at the point of booking.
However, when checking in we found that the key code didn't work so we rang the contact provided and he provided another code that didn't work so we had to wait for him to come to the property.
When he arrived he informs us that he wasn't made aware of anybody staying and this was clear as the apartment was not cleaned and linen left from the previous occupants.
The apartment had not been thoroughly cleaned from the bathroom, the bedrooms or the kitchen/dining room area.
I contacted the host and informed him of this and I still haven't received a response.
The apartment is on the small side and has limited space for luggage or clothes storage.
On the plus side the shower was strong and always had hot water available.
The location is excellent and a 5 minute walk from the main station even with luggage (a point to note is that the horse carriages won't take you that short distance or they wouldn't for us).
The instructions to get to the property could have been clearer i.e. go to the far right hand side of the main station where the lift is and continue to walk around the corner to where the restaurants and ski (Skimium) shop is.
Overall a good location but the apartment is small and our experience was that the apartment wasn't cleaned!

Enjoyed the skiing experience. Beautiful village. Wonderful vacation. We got engaged on the slopes of Avoriaz, a moment to remember!

We were so impressed with this wonderful apartment. It was situated in a perfect location close to shops, restaurants, ski hire and the pistes, with ski to door access. It was clean and tidy on arrival and the host was always on hand to help if needed. We were really impressed with the super king size bed stored in the wall. The views from balcony were also amazing. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it :)
