Older cabin but clean and comfortable all new appliances. The Kayak and 2 person canoe was available but was left sitting out so full of water and I did not have time to use them.

The floor had mouse poop all over the floor ,the shower wasn't cleaned out had leaves in it.the 1 toilet leeked on the floor constantly there wasn't fish cleaning tables as stated. Was terribly maintained. We cleaned the shower so it was unable. Property is as stated in ads. It is perfect for fishing trip. Location is perfect. The place did have a few issues that I addressed with the owner. Hopefully will be taken care of promptly. Additionally lawn care was not tended to as it should have been.

It was a good time with the family.

My family and I had an excellent time at the cottage and enjoying the water. The water is pretty clear with little weeds and very enjoyable for adults and toddlers. Bald eagles perched in trees and hunted within the bay which was awesome to watch. Quiet drive with excellent neighbors saying hello but not being intrusive.

Beautiful home situated on a small hill overlooking the lake. All amenities provided by the owner. Boat launch within a half mile and lots of mom and pop businesses nearby. Name your passion and it is close by... antiques, beach, fishing, boating, kayaking, ATV/snowmobile trails, craft beer, wine, souvenir shops, etc. Anny is an outstanding host and we can't wait to come back!

Great stay at Oneida lake
Everything was great about the property. It was very clean and well taken care of. It’s close to the lake for swimming etc-
Anny and Scott were great when I called about getting more propane for the grill. We were very pleased with everything

Peaceful neighborhood
The house was bigger than I had imagined, and nicer than the pictures depict. Clothes, food and life jackets for the kayaks are about all that you need to bring. The house is stocked with paper towels and toilet paper, linens and towels. The property owner is very nice and will address any concerns you may have.

Relax with a view
We arrived on a Saturday and stayed a week. The house itself was dirty but with a little help we cleaned it! Lots of spiders outside on the deck, house and chairs. We cleaned it, scrubbed it good! It’s a lake home in the woods so understand. I only saw 3 inside. Daddy long legs mostly! We had family and friends there for an afternoon party. Everyone said the place was beautiful! I agree! We had trees that were in the back yard that had been cut previously. They laid across the driveway and backyard the entire time. We didn’t go back cause all the views were in the front! Grill is dirty and spiders. Didn’t use it. The appliances inside were good! Gas stove and oven fridge microwave toaster oven all good! Had a problem with the door but Scott came right over. Called the owner twice about questions. Response was great! Very nice time there and I would go back! Thank you Anny and Scott! My husband and I had the best time ever and so did our family ❤️Neighbors were wonderful too! Peaceful beautiful place

Enjoyed our stay very much
We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was clean throughout, including the bathrooms and kitchen. The central air conditioning kept us cool, the gas range in the kitchen was especially nice to cook on as was the outdoor grill, and the cable TV was a nice amenity to have in the evenings. The location was also very good for our purposes, as the Godfrey Point DEC free boat launch was literally minutes from the property. Anny was very quick to respond to any questions we had, which we greatly appreciated.

Fishing Trip
The house was very spacious and clean! Plenty of room for all 6 of us. Everything worked well. We wish the fishing would have been better but very happy with the place!

Great stay at a reasonable price.
It was nice and private. Beds were decent. There are wooden slats vs. Box springs under mattress and a few are broken which makes it a little rough to sleep on. Futons were pretty comfortable. There is lots of paint peeling indoors and the ceiling has many spots from water damage. I had to clean the shower before using it due to mold however that being said whomever stays after me I did scrub the place down. There were many cleaning supplies to be able to clean up which was much appreciated. It's catepillar season and the silk catepillars kept dropping from the trees which made it hard to enjoy the deck which is no fault of the property. Many features like the stove and dishwasher are newer. One kayak is a single and one is a double. However there are no life vests so we bought our own and borrowed some. The lake is pretty shallow with rocks scattered through out so I highly suggest water shoes as we have a few cuts on our feet from the rocks. Again no fault of the owners. Locks can be tricky to get used too. PS there is no 2 story green house it was torn down so it made locating dock and fire pit a little tricky. The dock and fire pit are located in front of and empty lot with a black fence to the right when looking at the lake from the house. TV in master bedroom kept muting itself and after the third time of turning it off and back on it would stay on. Just some typical quirks with a camp like spiders and a soft spot on the kitchen floor by the dishwasher but we would stay again.

Quiet Lake Vacation
Anny was a wonderful person to work with. She has a nice lake house with pretty views. Sadly our trip was cut quite short by a family emergency. Anny was super kind and compassionate even calling me to check up on my family when I reached out to let her know we had left very early. She is a lovely owner with excellent communication. I’m hoping we’ll be able to return to her home on a future vacation.

Close to public boat launch. Perfect for 6 people
The house had everything we needed to stay for 4 nights. Cute little house with a nice amount of lake frontage. Dock was decent but would be nice with a boat lift for the windy days.

We had a great stay! The property was very clean and homey! Only complaint was ants and spiders!

Amazing place, amazing lake, amazing owner
The other reviews were right. The photos don’t do this place justice. Anny is so sweet. The lake is beautiful and easy to swim and walk in with a sandy bottom (nice and shallow for easy swimming for kids, too!) We had a great time on the kayaks on a day when it wasn’t too windy! The house was gorgeous! We loved hanging out on the front desk. Beautiful updated home on the inside with fresh bed linens and everything you need right at reach. This was the first trip I’ve taken alone with my kids, spouse, and friends, and we will definitely be back! 10/10 recommend this place. Thanks Anny!

Fishing camp or vacation home?
This property was rented for fishing. Tight but doable to get 2 trucks and boat trailers in. No operable boat lift and exposure to wind didn’t allow boats to be at dock long. The biggest issue was terrible mold smell and dust/ mold on dishes, etc which had to be washed before using. Tall grass, inoperable dish washer and odor suggests more attention is needed
