About this apartment rental

Great views of paradise overlooking the gulf from this NEWLY REMODELED Aquarius beachfront 4th floor unit. Watch sunrise on the gulf from front balcony, watch sunsets and fireworks from rear balcony. Located directly on the Gulf of Mexico. No need for rental car, you can walk to entertainment and great bay side restaurants such as Louie’s Backyard, Palm Street Pier Bar & Grill, Laguna Bob's and Daddy's. Shopping, water park and theater also close by. Miles and miles of golden beach to walk or relax around the large pool and hot tub. Jet skis, parasail banana boats, dolphin watch, museums and lighthouse are just some of the near by attractions. The Aquarius is a gated beachfront complex with a friendly 24 hour management /security staff. The Aquarius also has a laundry room a small fitness and sauna room and a 3 BBQ areas. Unlike many units in rental pool the owner stays in this condominium quite often. W.I.F.I. In room. Wrist bands are required at the Aquarius during peak times , please read rental agreement for details and important entry information.

The Aquarius has recently undergone a major renovation inside, outside, pool, spa and grounds and is in outstanding condition.

Cancellation policies:

Outside 60 days full refund (90 days Winter Texans);
Inside 60 days we keep the deposit;
Inside 3 weeks no refund. (We will always try to rent your cancelled dates and may refund deposit, or payment if ALL nights are rented);
In case of a mandatory hurricane evacuation, a credit of per night stay will be given for each night island is unsafe.

This unit provided everything we needed. We were close to all the attractions, most importantly the beach was close walking distance away. The views of the different balconies were awesome. Host was great and quick to respond.

This condo was perfect for my family! The kitchen had all the utensils and pans I needed for preparing my meals. The bed was SO comfortable (can't recall last time I slept so well!) The location AND the view did NOT disappoint! We were able to see fireworks from both balconies as promised! The property itself is well maintained and the pool was a great option for when the kids needed a break from the surf. We will definitely be returning .... South Padre Island has the most beauitful waters and the views from this rental was the best part <3

Well kept grounds/pool/lobby/elevators. Convenient to beach, pool, shops, Louies Backyard. Many, many dishes/gadgets/boogie boards (left behind). Main TV kept freezing but good wifi connection. Almost zero room to store groceries. Appliances working well. Host leaves starter tp, dish soap, hand soaps, papertowel, thank you! Quiet, family place. Master bed was comfortable for us as well as 2nd bedroom beds. We will be back!

Stayed for 3 nights with 2 teenagers. Easy proximity to beach and Gravity Park/arcade are a big plus and the balcony has a great view. The place is very clean and well-stocked. We enjoyed our stay.

The condo was extremely clean and comfy. The views were unbeatable. We could see fireworks at Louie’s perfectly without the crowds, and the views to the beach were perfect. The location was also great! The unit was equipped very well with from the kitchen to extra linens, towels. My only 2 suggestions would be to update the mattress on the fold out couch, we weren’t able to use it and bought a blow up mattress instead. That and adding a lock to the bathroom. Other than that, we loved it!

Sunrise came up right in front room! Fireworks were awesome from the balcony. Well stocked and clean. Walking distance to great coffee shops and restaurants. Beach area not crowded! Well maintained landscape. If you don’t want to use app, bring quarters for laundry, $3.00 wash/$2.75 dry. Captain Murphy tours was great! Just what we need for a break! Will stay again!

Location, location, location!!!! Great views of the ocean and literally just a few steps away. The pool and hot tub were also perfect if we needed a break from the beach. It was a short walk down to Cocoa's for happy hour. The condo had everything we needed for a great week. Newly remodeled (it looks just like the pics online). We made all of our breakfasts, lunches and snacks. Hosts were super responsive and very helpful. Highly recommend!

The property was clean & as described. The pool & hot tub have color changing lights at night along with lights on the path to the beach. The beach was nice, not crowded in April. Local restaurants we experienced were all good. The condo was clean, cute, very comfortable queen bed. The shower pressure was the only negative for me, but I do enjoy lots of pressure. We did not cook but they had lots of necessities to do so. We would definitely recommend this place.

We loved the short, direct walk to the beach. A community bin had beach toys to borrow which we did often. Pool was heated and sizable, with an 8’ deep end for kids to jump in. Plenty of delicious restaurants were an easy, short walk away. The other residents were extremely nice. The unit itself was clean but just a little dated. As other reviewers mentioned, the queen bed was extremely hard. But the twin beds were very comfortable! Nothing that impacted the pleasure of our stay. Overall, this was an excellent choice for our family of 4 with 2 young boys. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

The two balconies are nice to be able to chase the sun for the day. The deck chairs are not very comfortable . The place looks freshly painted and tiled. The kitchen was stocked well. The furniture is pretty dated, but clean. My only complaint would be I wish it was two queen beds and all the beds are rock hard. But thats a preference thing.

We were very pleased with this rental, location is great, close to all the restaurants and bars with live music, great access to the beach, beautiful beach views, pool and hot tub are clean! Gated parking, staff present at all times for anything needed. Only complaint is the queen bed isn’t comfortable at all, very hard. Bathroom had plenty of towels and kitchen was well stocked.

On my first night, I was already looking for future dates to stay. The condo was right on the beach, beautiful balcony views, nice pool and amenities, clean, and had everything we needed. We all agreed this was the perfect place and we were blessed to find it!

I always appreciate staying in a place that has a well stocked kitchen and bath. Plenty of soaps, t.p. Some spices, oil and coffee. The island shops are a bit $$$ so having time to go shop on the mainland was great. The house is perfect, no complaints.

Though someone had used the toilet and did not flush, the condo was clean. Maybe it was the cleaning crew? Not sure but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The view is amazing from the living room and there is ample room. Thanks so much for a great vacay! -Francine Melder

We have stayed at the Aquarius in the past and once again it did not disappoint. This condo was as pictured, so just what we expected. Greg responded when we had to communicate with him. The views off the balconies were amazing, as mentioned by others. We had everything we needed, and even had great weather for our entire stay. This location is perfect for us, and we can’t wait to go back.

This is the second time we stayed at one of Greg's properties in the Aquarius. As usual, everything was neat, clean and nicely decorated. We love the double balconies with views of both the gulf and the bay. The building staff was friendly and helpful. We love SPI in the winter!

This was an amazing place to stay on South Padre Island. My family and I spent a lot of time watching the waves from the balcony. You also get a gorgeous view of the sunrise from the balcony! The condo was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The property was clean, quiet, and well-maintained with beautiful landscaping. Greg was a great communicator and he ensured that all of our needs were taken care of. We went late September/early October and we had plenty of room on the beach to spread out and have our own spot. This place is in walking distance to a lot of great restaurants. I would definitely stay here again!
