Nice location.
Place was in walking distance of nice walks and not far from town. The cleanliness of the house could have been better presented prior to people arriving and the cost of the stay and the yard needed a bit of work for the kids to play in. Overall a 3 out of 5.

Enjoyable Stay
An ideal location close to lookout, main attractions and shops. We were a group of two families of 4 and 5 and the house accommodated all of us comfortably. Fire place was great for the unexpected cold weather in December. Backyard garden and table tennis was great for older kids and adults.
Other than the musty smell in the house, which required a bit of Glen 20, we had an enjoyable stay. Thank you.

Easy process to rent, check in and check out and host Jeff was very accommodating and contactable. A very cosy place with 2 fire places which we enjoyed. We did not use outside space. Thank you Jeff.

Lovely house in perfect location
We enjoyed our stay, specially the proximity to a beautiful sunset spot. The house was clean and cozy, had everything we needed. The kids had a blast in the backyard and getting eggs from the chickens. Jeff was always prompt to answer our questions and made our stay quite enjoyable.

Spacious house close to the Blue Mountains walks
Jeff's house is nice and spacious, enough for 4 couples and more. The backyard is fantastic with lots of veggies and trees. They were starting to bloom when we were there and it was great! Wish we came a couple of weeks later when cherries would be in full bloom. We even picked a couple eggs for breakfast from the local resident chickens. Table tennis is also a bonus for entertainment. Jeff's house is a great place to stay for an active weekend away!

Weekend Getaway
The place was awesome, super cosy and had everything we needed plus more.
Multiple heaters plus the fire place was perfect for our stay (on the coldest weekend in Sydney for the year).
Jeff was great with communication, the booking and check in process was really easy.
We absolutely loved our stay in the Blue Mountains, plenty to do, beautiful hikes and great food. And Snow!!!
Highly recommend!

Lovely place
Location so close to the most incredible Cahills lookout. Backyard is fabulous especially with kids.
Only negative is it would be good if dish cloth and bath mats were provided otherwise suggest that guests bring their own.

A big but quirky property
The house is big and has 4 good bedrooms meaning it can house 2 families (or in our case, 3 grandkids, 2 parents, 3 grandparents) comfortably. I loved collecting eggs from the chickens. There is a kitchen, big backyard, table tennis, wifi, tvs...
In the backyard are 2 uncovered/unfenced water features and a quite rundown unstable looking 'children's cubby' so children must be supervised at ALL times. The kitchen was quite dirty as there was a layer of grease not just on pots and pans, but on surfaces, in drawers and in cupboards. The bathrooms are not well maintained or nicely finished but things work.
Jeff and his wife are very kind and responsive. Any issues that we found or things we didn't have and they were quick to come and bring us or try to resolve.

Large, comfortable house, great location
We had a great time and so did our kids. It's a very large house, it was clean and very comfortable, the location is great just minutes from Scenic Walk and Echo Point. Jeff was very helpful. We will happily come back!

Very relaxing holiday
Booked this home for a group of friends on a weekend away and had an absolutely fantastic time. The home is very large with loads of beds and bedrooms so everyone can still have their privacy. We found Katoomba a great place to be in the Blue Mountains with just a quick drive to Scenic World and the famous Three Sisters. The host Jeff was super helpful during our stay, including arranging late check out for us. Response to our messages was always prompt and helpful. Would absolutely recommend this house to anyone looking for a place for a group in the Blue Mountains, and would go back again!

Fantastic clean house
This is a really fantasic house. It was very clean and tidy. I also found empty Mortein bomb cans jn the bin so I knew that the house had been recently pest controlled.
The house was spacious and there was enough room to accommodate my friends and I. We made use of the big backyard. We even had picked some fruits in the garden. That was a bonus!
This is a great place and we enjoyed our stay. It was close to Scenic World and a short stroll to some magnificent views. I would definitely recommended it to all our friends.

Needs a good Spring clean!
Unfortunately our experience at Verona was not the best.. The house was musty and extremely dirty. It was as if no one had been there for years. Mould in bathrooms, cobwebs and dust covered the windows and curtains. We were a family group of 7. The kitchen lacked utensils and cooking equipment for a large group and those that were there were still dirty. No plug for the kitchen sink and no dishwasher which made it difficult to wash things!
Positive notes were that it was a peaceful and quiet area and had a nice big backyard although messy and lawn unmowed. The outdoor patio area was big but needed some TLC.
Unless the house gets a good clean and some care, we would not recommend to other travellers.

Good
Comfortable place to stay. we have stayed at a lot of these places over the years. One thing that makes a difference to me is sharp kitchen knives. Unfortunately, the knives where very blunt and there was no sharpening device.

Spacious but needs a deep clean
The property, although spacious and in a nice quiet location, is in serious need of a good clean.
The price is relevant to the age and style of the property inside but it really feels like it hasn’t been cleaned in years.
Some of the mattress protectors had stains on them, the plates in the cupboard had a film of grease on them and the tea towels hadn’t been washed. When you lifted the lounge base cushions up there were old lollies and crumbs underneath.
There was also a cupboard with food in, some things with a use by date of 2009.....
The pillows provided were very flat and old but jeff the owner did come over on request to bring some more. He was very pleasant.
It is a spacious house and accomodated 2 families very nicely. Lovely little back garden and patio area.

Great property
We had stayed here before and enjoyed our stay at this property.
We had 6 adults staying in the house for the weekend. It is a great property for a group this size.
The only big disappointment was that no firewood was provided- although the ad said that it was. The issue was not heating. There was plenty of heating. The issue is the atmosphere of a fireplace. We ended up buying firewood for ourselves. Othe than that we had a great weekend.
