Great location, big rooms, clean

Decor is looking a little tired and with an odd configuration with the bathroom sink in the kitchenette, but generally all good

Comfortable, clean in good location for a reasonable price. Cleaner was exceptionally kind

location, comfy beds, clean, walk-in shower, heating, met our needs

Stairs up to room. Helped when cleaner told us we could enter and exit front door to save on a flight of stairs. Having 3 steps up to room was a little dangerous. Otherwise no concerns

There was only one sink in the kitchen which we had to use for washing too as there wasn’t one in the bathroom.

Cosy place in Katoomba

The accomodation is on the main road and close to Katoomba station (within a 10 min walk). There is parking on site and it is a quick drive to Echo Point to see the famous Three Sisters. A breakfast buffet was included in our stay at a partnered accomodation opposite the station. It was like visiting an aunty or grandma's place and provided a home-like feel. This gave us a good start to the morning.

They have shampoo and body soap, but no conditioner (maybe on request but we didn't try this). We booked a room for two adults but we only received one body towel and no floor mat/towel (so bring your own towel or ask them for extra).

Disappointed and went elsewhere

Can't answer this as we decided to go elsewhere

Security was poor as anybody could have walked in near the room we were allocated. There was no door to separate the hot tub bath and the rest of the room. The furniture looked old and out dated. Room needed a new carpet. We did get an offer to move to another room the following day but we declined.

A good value choice

A good location but at the end of town and an uphill walk to restaurants.

Room 14 a corner king size room had really bad fitting curtains. Other rooms looked much better. No towell rail! Common areas such as laundry and outside stairs need a deep clean…..they have been neglected.

I enjoyed staying at the Heritage Motel it is a great central location in Katoomba within walking distance of restaurant

the location was great and the room was comfortable and clean

it would have been nice to have a toaster in the room to be able to have breakfast. plus I wasn’t aware there would be so many stairs

Katoomba was a great place to visit in general.

Had no breakfast in our deal didn’t know you could get it.

A hand towel and another towel hook would have been good.

everything old and tired. Bathroom did not have a basin- had to use the sink in the “dinette”. The end of the bed butted up to a step which was the access to the bathroom which was not easy to navigate. Worst room have ever stayed in. There were vacancies so they did not need to put us in that particular room.

The staff were warm and welcoming and the location was perfect. Good car park with lots of spaces. The room was nice.

We would have liked to have some wine glasses in the room.

Excellent value for money, very comfortable.

Great location, handy to shops & restaurants. Bus stop close by to get to scenic attractions. The room and en-suite bathroom were nice and roomy and bigger than expected. Complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch. All the room equipment and facilities were functional.

Improved sound insulation on wall with adjacent room could be better, we could hear television from adjacent room.

The bed was very comfortable, great location. I would recommend the place for sure.

We were playing uno up the stairs from reception, where the cards were placed and the lady from reception came up and asked if we could go and play somewhere else.

• location • staff were friendly and helpful (Jack) • clean • comfortable • well equipped for a room with just a microwave and fridge (washing up liquid sachets, cloth, tea towel, cutlery, dishes, tea, coffee, etc) • air con and fan • continental and cooked breakfast buffet for $12

• We weren’t told that you had to book breakfast the night before in order to get it for $12. Otherwise it was $19 so we missed out on our second morning out of two.

great location, a comfortable and friendly stay with everything that was required to make your stay a memorable one. staff were great and really friendly nothing was too much trouble. a great place to stay.

Very good

The staff were very helpful & made us feel very welcome. The room was great & the fridge & microwave very useful & great air conditioning. Beds comfortable & sheets & towels perfectly laundered. The motel itself was clean but could do with a bit of updating but location good.

Walking up the stairs but got used to it. Also breakfast had we chosen to have was served off site.
