Well priced and an excellent budget accommodation option!

Lots of different common areas, good facilities and excellent location close to town. Very well priced for a room.

The bathroom floor near the door seemed to be always wet for no reason was my one tiny complaint.

They gave our booking away even though we had prepaid for the day. And then tried to blame booking.com even though it was their fault.

Cheap and good location, but you have to deal with other people’s odor

No airflow into the rooms, so you could smell the stink from everyone in the room. Room was boiling hot

A great spot right near the shops, less than 10 mins walk from the station, and easy access to the area.

I booked a private room with its own bathroom and it was huge. As always with a YHA, the kitchen and communal spaces were really well organised with lots of stuff to use and share.

Perfect location to discover some of the best Blue Mountains' tracks. Very friendly and helpful staff. Spacious and cozy common spaces, well-equipped kitchen. Laid-back and atmospheric. I can completely recommend it.

Perfect stay for exploring the blue mountains

Comfortable beds, towels & soap provided! Very impressed that there was a recycling bin in the room. Great kitchen & dining area. Even had a little ‘kids corner’ which was perfect for our 3 year old.

Fantastic value, great location, large family room, right next door to stores, I cooked dinner every night in the large communal kitchen. The kids loved the games area.

Helpful staff, warm and cosy, good vibes, easy access to everything. The only reason I haven't given maximum points for everything is that the kitchen was sometimes a bit unpleasant because not all guests abide by the cleanliness standards that the hostel requests (not the hostel's fault and it was always cleaned at the end of the day).

Budget friendly accomodation that is clean and good for a one nighter.

Bedroom + bathroom was immaculate. The communal area was big with a pool table (which my kids loved). Easy to park nearby and close to Woolies, Aldi and Big W so if you're on a budget or need to shop for food everything is close.

The bathroom was extremely but unfortunately, the smell of bleach was overpowering - we had to open the windows up as we are sensitive to strong chemicals. Being super cold this wasn't that convenient. I would suggest allowing the rooms to air out fully if using bleach.

Good place to travel from

The shared space is very big and inviting, good kitchen and nice staff. Close to the main street and a supermarket for grocery shopping.

The showers weren't the cleanest and we're quite small.

Perfect hostel

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. This is a gorgeous building and offers really great communal facilities with games and a fire in the common room. The outdoor terrace and gardens are lovely with Cockatoos hoping about too. The room was good and the location great. Close to all the Wentworth falls hike starts and plenty of restaurants.

Everything was clean, there was lots of space for luggage and/or wet clothes in the room. Walking distance to great Blue Mountains lookout points.

I was completely taking by the Large Scale of the Property, you can actually have Live Bands performed there,

spacious, Fun, Respectable,

pool table sticks had no Cue tip in order to enjoy a good game,

Stayed here many times and it's always been excellent. I stay in an en suite, the beds are comfy, the bathroom always clean and the shower great. I didn't use the kitchen, it looked fine though. If you don't want to cook, it's a short walk to the shops and cafes. The staff are always very friendly and helpful.

The location and friendly of the staff they were nice and friendly as well let you know what to see and things to see around katoomba so you can continue on your days activités so yeah i would perfer katoomba blue mountains over Sydney as my place for accommodation in the future

The staff were good and the location was about 15 minutes walk from the Train station and the grocery store was 5 minutes away a short walk i also like the price its way cheaper than the big city a difference of between 20 to 25 dollars per night so yes i would perfer here the blue mountains over Sydney
