L'emplacement et la sécurité de l'immeuble
4.0
The room was clean and had good facilities
I had to collect keys separately from the property and we had to leave early in the morning so it was difficult to return the keys
3.5
Goede locatie vlakbij de piste, bakker en supermarkt.
Ook de uitgaansbuurt was op wandelafstand
bovenverdieping was heel klein. Plafonds waren zo laag dat iemand van 1m83 niet kon rechtstaan op de kamers.
Keuken en living ook klein...

the apartment is new, the kitchen is amazing and had everything needed and more. the beds were very comfortable and the shared area downstairs is great. location is also great.
The ceiling in the second floor is low (more or less 1.8 meters). it’s only an issue for taller people obviously, but be aware.

amazing location, very clean, lovely welcome pack, warm, appliances work very well and ample glasses: bowls; pots; pans etc, pretty furnishings, beds are comfortable, everything in perfect condition and a great view
It is bijoux for five people (this is standard in the Alpes) - bear in mind the upstairs/ mezzanine ceilings are low if you are a tall family. Would benefit from more than one mirror in the property, a colander & hooks for clothes upstairs.

Owner was very friendly throguh out and extremely helpful and responsive. Fantastic location in town right over the road from the slopes and would 100% recommend for a couple or small family as we had a great time there.

Stay away from this place. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!
I will explain:
1- NEVER GOT MY DEPOSIT BACK! In order to stay here, you have to leave a $800 cash deposit, because she does not have a credit card machine on premise, like every other place you could potentially stay. She told me she was going to refund the money to my account 3 days AFTER I leave i left the place cleaner and nicer than we got it and never got my deposit....It's been 10 days and I STILL don't have the money.
2- DIRTY! The place wasn't clean. In every bed there were long black hairs in the sheets, so I don't think they washed the sheets before we came. There were cigarette butts all over the balcony that we had to clean. The dishes were broken (picture attached), and we didn't have enough glasses for our group because many of them were cracked.
3- RUDE! Don't expect the owner to help you after you leave the place if you need anything. Before my stay she emailed me in English, but as soon as I left she would only respond in French to my emails even though she knew I didn't speak French. When I asked her where my deposit refund was, she sent me an email telling me to leave her alone and that she'd sent me the money (in French), and that it was my problem from here on out. I'm having to work with booking.com now to get my money because it never came.
4- WHAT I BOOKED WAS NOT WHAT I GOT! When you book the property you have the option to book a larger or smaller apartment. I booked the larger option, and paid for the larger option, but got the smaller option. When I tried to communicate with the property manager she told me that all of the places are the same size, even though that's not true, and their website shows two different sizes. I emailed the owner about this, and never got a response.

The property was very comfortable and had everything we needed in the apartment. There was plenty of cookware to enjoy home cooked meals and large table for our family. The beds were very comfortable.
We enjoyed the apartment and no complaints.
3.5
quite central location, nice decor, good communication
our group was made up of big tall lads and the beds were too small. we were given a very long list of rules to obey or they keep your deposit. the deposit has to be paid before the stay and it’s quite a large sum which they aren’t in a hurry to give you back.
4.5
The property was clean, modern and is positioned well for easy access
to slopes and the wider resort amenities.
The property comes fully equipped with everything needed to make the best of a self catering accommodation including 3 hobs, large fridge freezer, microwave, separate oven, 2 coffee machines and a substantial range of cups, plates, bowls, pots and pans….. All this may seem a little boring but it made eating at the the accommodation far less hassle than previous stays at self catering accommodations.

location is perfect
bakery nearby
well equipped
ventilation is limited. only 1 out of 3 bedrooms had a window. therefore it was a liitle bit hot during the nights. val thorens is a perfect ski area but streets and appartments are noisy during the njght.

the appartment is very cosy. very well equipt kitchen
The appartment is very nice but sooo small. we were 6 people. my son had to sleep on the coach because he is too tall to fit on the bed and not enough space to put luggage. the appartment is equiped with everything-wonderful. the only thing missing is a washing mashine. i would have change it instead of the dishwasher.
3.5
Location, clean, everything looked, good support from the staff, good distribution of space considering the size of the appartment.
A bit small for 6 people, the second floor (where the rooms are) ceiling was around 1,80m high, not very confortable for tall people but works, at the end you only go there to change clothes and sleep.
3.0
Apartment is very modern and very nicely decorated. All appliances and furniture are in excellent condition. I really enjoyed the fur coverings on everything.
The apartment is tiny and all photos are taken using wide angle lense to make it look a lot bigger. The upstairs with the bedrooms has a ceiling height too low to stand upright. My partner smashed her head on the ceiling while changing. The small space means you have to pack all your equipment and bags carefully away to be able to move freely around the apartment. If you plan on doing any work on your skis or snowboard (waxing/edges etc), you will be unlikely to be able to do this unless there is nobody else in the apartment. There is literally no free floor space to fit a snowboard and two people. Two of the three bedrooms have no windows guaranteeing that most guests will overheat at night. The couple staying with us in the other bedroom were unable to sleep and had to move downstairs to the couch and open the door to the outside to keep the room cool. We ran no heating whatsoever at night but the apartment heats up from others nearby. The apartment almost faces the main street and so is very loud at night. You must keep windows/doors open to stay cool, but then must endure drunk morons shouting and singing in the streets. If it's not the drunks that wake you, it will be the food delivery trucks and snow clearing machines that arrive at 5:30 am and make lots of noise in the streets. I was woken every single night by something or other and then had to close the windows and try to get back to sleep. Even with windows closed its loud outside. The wifi is very slow and is not really suitable for much other than basic internet browsing. If you want to spend a day in the apartment working remotely for example, you will likely find you work interrupted by slow internet. There are workarounds to all these problems such as careful packing of your bags and equipment and keeping apartment really tidy, plus carefully managing doors and windows to keep apartment cool enough to sleep. But it falls short of what I would consider a luxury apartment.
