The cabin was very roomy! It was perfect for our 4 families with 8 adults and 6 kids! It was very well equipped. I would say that we could have used more cabinet space for food with 4 families but everything worked out and everyone enjoyed their stay. We played chess and other games as well as putting together a few puzzles. The river was close so lots of water time! Not far from the Valley, Glacier Point and Mariposa Grove!

The house was well equipped and spacious and easily handled our family group of 14. Plenty of bed space as well. The Redwoods is a calm and serene settlement inside the park which was ideal. The staff was amazingly responsive, dropping off a tank of propone for the grill less than 10 minutes after I called. All in all an excellent experience, one I highly recommend,

My in-laws and I loved stayed here! There was plenty of room for all of us and it was close proximity to all of the sites we wanted to see in Yosemite! The oven wasn’t working upon arrival and 20 minutes after I called the office, maintenance was there to fix it. Great customer service!

My family and I, a total of 17 people, love to vacation together and this year we wanted to try yosemite. This place was amazing. It really had it all. Big space for all of us tp cook and hang out together along with a room for everyone to enjoy their privacy.
The kids loved playing games inside and exploring outside.
The adults loved eating and talking around the living room, kitchen, and specially outside in the balcony.
This place was very clean. The market was within walking distance for making any last minute purchases you might have forgotten. And the hike to the swinging bridge and watering hole was about a 25 minute walk.
We would really consoder this place again next time we visist.

Great location and property. Right inside of Yosemite park and close to attractions like Mariposa Grove and walking distance to Chilnualna Falls.
The house was well stocked, clean and rooms were comfortable with enough beds for 18 people. Large kitchen and plenty of counter space. Great deck for hanging out and eating. The only downside was that the basement area was damp.

10 of us stayed in this spacious and well equipped home for 6 days. My brothers and kids came from all over the US and met here and loved it all. The bedrooms were perfect for our needs and the kitchen was huge and easy to use for our dinners together every night. The only drawback was there were limited paper goods so bring your own paper towels, aluminum foil, etc.

For maximum enjoyment of YNP, this house is perfect. The Managment company is very progressional and kind. This is a great spot.

Rented this place with 3 families. Loved the location. Had some nice hikes around the house. Management company running the property was quick and handled our issues in a timely manner. Very thankful for that. Will stay here again in the future if possible.

We had a truly great snow getaway. There was enough room for the adults and kids to spread out and play. We got a little snow the last day, but it was a short drive up hill the other days to play in the snow which also allowed us to enjoy some short hikes right outside the cabin. Our only issue was lack of cleaning agents. With a big party we ran out of dishwasher tabs and there was no laundry detergent and no broom to sweep. So bring your own cleaning gear and it is a great place. We plan to return.

This was a beautiful house in Yosemite. It was cozy and warm and had great touches that made it feel welcoming and homey. Only complaint is that the house did not have any shampoo, and ran out of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, and garbage bags early on in our 3 night stay.

There were 11 of us staying for a family vacation. Plenty of rooms for all. Nice set up. Nice kitchen and fireplace. Mariposa Grove is a short drive. My daughter hiked to Swinging Bridge from the cabin. Pine Tree Market was very close to pick up some extra supplies. The neighborhood was very walkable. We all had a great time.

Great location. Close swimming hole and waterfall. Needed more soap. Cleanliness ok, but not excellent.

Great for large groups!
Home was perfect for our large group of 11 kids and 5 adults. Everything was clean and beds were comfy. Kitchen had a large table for eating and the big living room accommodated our group.
One thing to note- oven had issues. Two of the burners didn’t work at all and the top oven (of double oven) didn’t warm up all the way. We did call maintenance and they said they would come fix but never did. We were able to cook ok but might have planned different meals if we had known oven didn’t fully work. Also could not find any oven mitts so had to use wash rags.
But overall location and space were great and I would recommend.

Great stay for a girls weekend
Came here for my bachelorette with 15 friends and the house was amazing. Better than the photos and well stocked!

Great stay and good location
We were a group of 11 staying at the lodge and had a great time. The kitchen is great and has all the things you need to cook/entertain. We felt there was a lack of comfy seating in the main lounge and actually moved a sofa from the main bedroom to the lounge area during our stay. The open fire is great and perfect for evenings.
I didn't feel it was clear on the listing that access to one bedroom was through another room. It wasn't the end of the world but given we were 6 different couples it did mean a bit of a compromise on privacy... fine for kids though I'm sure.
Overall it was a great stay and we all really enjoyed our time there.

Great stay and lots of room and beds.
We had a great time. We brought out own corn hole boards and having the large deck was perfect. Snow was all gone when we were there at the property.
We would of loved to have a ping pong table or pool table but brought our own boards to have that side of the family fun.
I wish they supplied more toilet paper for the 18 we had staying there. But luckily I had brought some.
I was disappointed in Badger pass tubing department. We were there at 11 am and made reservation for 13 of us to rent tubes. Never once were we told about it being not good conditions to tube. We paid $325 for the two hour window.
We showed up as instructed and checked out our tubs. We all walked to the top of the tubing ramp. We slide 5 maybe 10 feet. All sizes of us. From 3 years old to 57 years old. It did not matter. Within 2 mins we knew it was going to be a fail. The next party of tubers walked up and asked us how it was. I let them know it was disappointing. They said "Yes they told us that tubing would not be good this afternoon and told us it was up to us if we wanted to pay and try it". I was so confused. We were never told or it was never even mentioned to us. One lady helped me through the entire purchasing of the tickets and she never mentioned anything to me.
Within 15 mins of our session I walked back down to the tubing office. I explained my concerns with the conditions and how we were not even able to go do 5-10 feet without coming to a dead stop. The same lady just said "sorry no refunds". Then she showed me a small 3 x 5 card that was on the counter by the register. This card was covered up when her and I filled out the paper work when I was paying the $325.
I wish she would have given me the full information prior to me buying the tickets and allowed me to make that decision where if I wanted to spend $325 to slide 5-10 feet. She did not care of my concerns even if it was brought to her attention minutes into our session. She flat did not care. NO I am sorry or even acknowledgement of the situation. She simply pointed at the 3 x 5 card and then walked behind another worker.
I will not plan on going back to Badger Pass Ski resort. Well at least the tubing. I did speak to another lady after this and asked if I could just voice my feelings. I told her that I wish I was just given the option to know that they conditions were bad for tubing before spending the money.

Beautiful Home - Great Management Company
There is no better way to recharge your batteries than connecting with nature. This home, nestled in the midst of Yosemite National Park is large (many bedrooms and bathrooms), clean and has a nice recently renovated modern kitchen. The scenery is magical and the accommodations are great.

The property is exactly what was described. It has well equipped kitchen supplies. We really had a.
My only complaint was there is no washer/dryer in the house. You have to go to the office and pay to do laundry.

Glorious Family Retreat
Can I fit this review into 2500 characters in this little box? I HOPE SO! We did a lot of research and landed on this particular property and I'm so glad we did. We had 8 adults and 9 children- 4 separate families- and SO enjoyed the space of this cabin. The cousins all slept downstairs in the bunk room and the adults all had a bedroom which was so nice. The kitchen was really spacious and had everything we needed- really above and beyond what we thought would be there. Even a baby gate! Lots of extra pillows, blankets, comfortable beds, etc. We loved the fireplace at night when it cooled down too!
We drove into Yosemite Valley everyday- tunnel view is about a 40 minute drive from this cabin... pretty much as close as you can get! We also loved the proximity to the Chilnualna Falls- just a ten minute walk from the deck- we did that several times with the kids. (Ages 5 months- 8 years.) Being in the valley absolutely blew our minds- so incredibly beautiful, we could have stayed forever.
Al at the check in area was very knowledgeable and gave us some great tips, super friendly and kind. They even have some cute t shirts and hats there in case you need a souvenir!
In three days, we did Yosemite Falls, visitor center and Indian village, the hike to Mirror Lake and Half Dome, camp four and midnight lightning, Bridalveil Falls, and did a big chunk of the valley floor loop down to the base of El Capitan to watch all of the climbers. I think when our babies are bigger we will go back and do the Mist Trail, among other things. Can't beat tunnel view! Wish we had more time.
When we return we will 100% book The Legacy again. I'm actually sad I'm not there right now.
Couple things to consider- we needed like nine million more kitchen towels. We were given two and a sponge, which we used in about two seconds. Also, maybe some cleaning supplies- one little kid got sick and it would have been helpful to have some chlorox or disinfectant. And a mop for sticky floors at the end of the day. Next time we will pack those things.
Thank you for a wonderful home away from home! We can't wait to book again and come back!

Amazing Family Retreat!
We had an incredible time with our family in this cabin celebrating New Year's and our son's first birthday. I love to cook and had menus planned for most meals and they were all possible because this is the MOST WELL STOCKED KITCHEN of any cabin I have ever seen. I wish all cabins had dishes for 20 and cooking tools, and pots and pans for days. The pictures don't do the cabin justice. It is walking distance to a waterfall and other trails. The cabin is split up on three levels so it is easy to accommodate multiple families. I strongly reccomend this place and we plan to stay here agin in the future. Thank you for sharing your wonderful cabin!

Amazing house - easily accommodates 16
This house is amazing - great separation of space, quiet bedrooms, great location - close to hiking trails - quiet and peaceful deck with plenty of chairs. We loved our stay - older parents and 4 children and their families - we all fit perfectly. Beautiful well appointed kitchen. Well maintained - clean, comfortable - seriously - we have crowded into other houses before and this was by far our best experience. Would easily stay again. I have to stress - we had 5 children under 9 years old and in the master bedroom I could not hear them at all when they got up and were playing trains in the living room at 6:30 am - great house.

Location and Accommodation
Our group of 18 persons, 12 adults and 6 children enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was adequately appointed, with enough dishes, glasses, pots and pans to meet our needs. The readily available fire wood was a bonus and kept the fire going in the nice oversize fireplace.
The kitchen had recently been remodeled and offered ample room to work in there. The appliances were all nice and in good working condition.
There was ample games, puzzles, and cards to entertain our group in the evenings.
The access to the house from the main road was easy and convenient. Ws highly recommend this cabin to families planning reunion or traveling as a group. We hope to go back and stay there in the near future.

Thanksgiving at Yosemite
Our stay was Thanksgiving weekend, 2016, for our extended family, including grandparents (me), my two daughters with husbands and children, ages 4 through 16. We had a great time and the house was just what we needed. The kitchen was well equipped for fixing a large meal. One member of our group was somewhat disabled, which restricted her to the main floor, which was not a problem. An ADA toilet would have been helpful. We had snow the last night which required the use of tire chains the next morning. We were prepared, but woe to those who are not. The market was remarkably well stocked for such a small store. The staff was helpful and friendly, but really, the house was so well set up we did not need any help. 15B was ideal for us and I think would be for any large family.

Our group of women has stayed many times in this rental. The new kitchen has made it so much better and easier to get around for meals & talking and is very pretty and well equipped. Hope the upgrades continue. This "cabin" is well located and comfortable.

Fun with friends
We visited yosemite with 10 other friends. There were 12 of us seniors who shared the Legends home for four nites. It was spacious and just what we needed after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. We enjoyed preparing meals in the newly remodeled kitchen. It was a well stocked kitchen with every gadget one would need. Beds were comfortable and there was not one complaint about anything. I received several compliments on what a great job I did on finding this wonderful home for us to use. Thank you for the opportunity to use it.

Great Cabin for Family Reunion
We planned this cabin for our family reunion and the size was perfect for a huge family like mines. Kitchen was beautiful and had all the equipment we needed to cook for a huge family, they also have a propane grill outside on the patio. Beds were comfortable. Lots of space to move around so we wouldn't annoy each other too much. Lots of areas to explore around the cabin. Beautiful nights under the clear sky. Rivers and hiking trails all around. A short 20min drive back to Oakhurst to do some grocery shopping. Some issues we had were, we went during the summer and it's very hot! 90-100+ degrees all the days we were there. There was no A/C, only wall mounted ones on the top floor which didn't reach down to the lower levels so during the day/night when we arrived back at the house after exploring the cabin would be hot. We brought a lot of food to cook and had food in the refrigerator but the refrigerator didn't keep our food cold. Over night the refrigerator would get cold then the next day it wouldn't keep anything cold anymore and everything in the freezer would melt. I'm assuming this is due to the cabin being very hot during the day and people keep opening and closing the refrigerator. This issue would probably be addressed if the whole cabin had A/C so the refrigerator wouldn't have to work so hard to keep cold. Overall i wouldn't mind staying here again and would recommend this cabin!

Reunion in Yosemite National Park
We had a group of 18 people visiting Yosemite National Park for 4 nites and 5 days. We were anxious about how the lodge accomodation would be like but after our arrival, our concerns dissipated instantly. 15 B is a nice lodge with the kitchen and baths looked like new. It provided enough beds for us and some space for sleeping bags as desired. There is a gas barbecue grill so we had barbecue as our first meal. The kitchen is fully equipped with all sorts of utensils , plenty of sitting for the group to mingle. We had so much conversation going on in the evening that we didn't use other electronic equipment. Four baths and showers were enough for our grooming. The instructions were clear and we could follow regarding the care of the place, linens, and trash etc.without problem. The office staff were very helpful to provide information regarding various information for places we visited. 15B Lodge had contributed to a pleasant and memorable experience for our trip.

vacation rental for family gathering
This was better than advertised on line. The house we rented was above expectations and perfect for our large family get together. We had several families with young children and no one felt crowded. Clean, well stocked with all we needed except for food (which we brought). The office, check-in and check-out were quick and painless. Staff onsite were very helpful. I would highly recommend the Redwoods to anyone and look forward to visiting again sometime.
