We rented the entire 4 unit complex during our stay and it worked perfectly for our group. Walking distance to Canyon Lodge and on the bus route for downtown Mammoth Lakes. The large underground garage is a great benefit.

There were 15 of us in total who gathered in Mammoth to celebrate the life of a family member who passed unexpectedly. The location & size of this property was perfect! Both condos were extremely clean, spacious and had all of the amenities we needed. We will be back!

Our family of 12 enjoyed 5 nights utilizing units 1 and 2 for our stay. Each unit was comfortably furnished, clean, and spacious. We found everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare meals as well as extra supplies such as salt, pepper and other spices. Our host, Mary Beth, was fantastic, easy to contact and very responsive. The condo is just a short walk to Canyon Lodge if you are skiing and within walking distance to the village (utilized the city trolly to return).
Over all a very enjoyable visit.

Our group of 9 adults ranging in age from 26-70 stayed in the 2 condos on the 1st floor at Sonenalp. This is a great place to stay for a large group with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths in each condo. Everyone had a great time and we look forward to coming back in the future.

Fantastic Family Celebration
Our family stayed in Mammoth for a Celebration of Life for a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. The accommodations were top notch and our family felt pampered. MaryBeth was so accommodating and always present when I texted with questions. We could not have asked for a better host. She and her husband were so kind and helpful. We would go back!

Amazing stay!!!
My family & I rented out the first floor combination at Sonenalp the week of 4th of July and I could not have been happier with the stay. I cannot say enough amazing things about these condos. We walked in and were so impressed with the updated look, cleanliness and cozy mountain feel - we instantly felt right at home. We had 4 families staying on the bottom floor - 9 adults, 4 kids and 1 dog in total - and we had more than enough room to be comfortable. We used one condo as the main hangout, for meals, games, movies etc. The kids loved having the connecting balcony between the two condos and the shared foyer made going back and forth easy as well. Also can’t forget to mention the jacuzzi which was fantastic and clean. My husband loved the sauna too. My baby monitor signal also reached from one condo to the other which was super convenient to be able to hang with the family in the main condo while my 2 year old napped in the other condo. The condos have everything you need for the the stay - cookware, kitchenware, utensils, coffee/espresso maker, shampoo/conditioner, body soap, lotion, toilet paper, etc. There were even signs with my name on them welcoming our party with complimentary coffee and chocolates. Mary Beth was an awesome host, very responsive via text and even came by the condo to show me something I had a question on. She was so friendly and gave us insight into the town activities for the holiday and more. The location is great - a nice walk down to the village with the kids. We even left the kids with the grandparents for a night and took the town trolley down and back to the village for dinner and drinks which was so convenient and fun! There was another party staying above us but we had no issues with that whatsoever - there are 2 bbqs available which is really convenient if there are multiple parties in the building. Also can’t beat morning coffee on the front or back patio watching the deer go by. Check out is super easy as well. The combination came with 4 parking spaces in the garage and we really appreciated being able to use the 2 storage lockers located off the garage for golf clubs, fishing poles, wagons, bikes, etc. I could go on and on about the amenities. We didn’t want to leave and weeks later are still talking about our stay. We will never forget our time at Sonenalp and the memories we made. I would 100% recommend staying here to anyone and hope to stay again in the future. Thank you again Mary Beth for everything!

3 family get away
We had the 2 bottom floor condos to share amongst 3 young families (6 adults/7kids) it was more than enough space for us. We used 1 condo for the main entertainment/meal area which was more than enough space. It seemed well cared for, clean, and up to date. The unit had more then enough games to keep the kids busy. We enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to go back.

Wonderful Stay
We had a large family gathering for Thanksgiving and this rental property was perfect for the occasion. It felt like a home away from home and so cozy. The units were spacious and well maintained. It was nice not to have to think about the little touches like stocked trash bags, shampoo/conditioner, lotion, dishwasher detergent, board games, etc. The location was a very short walk to the Canyon Lodge and had great parking. It was perfect for our large group, accommodating all 18 of us. We were lucky to meet the owners and they were very nice and very responsive. Overall we had such a great stay! It was over too soon!

Great vacation getaway!
We had a group of 14 adults for a week. Perfect setup for a large group. We had everything we needed to cook great meals and relax at the end of long hiking days in both condos without being on top of each other. Would definitely stay here again. Mary Beth was great to work with.

We all had a great time! There were a couple of things that could have gone better - the property was not ready until about 45 minutes past the check in time. I understand I will receive a $100 credit for that - thank you. Also, we were disappointed that the spa was unavailable. We were looking forward to using it after a long hike to Crystal Lake.

Nice Condos with a few disappointments
The property was very nice and accommodated our large group. We had some issues with the bbq grill as there was only 1 for all 4 condos in the building when we arrived. After some calls from several guests another grill was brought on our 2nd night. Our family chose the bottom level and unfortunately you could hear a lot of noise from the 2nd story guests. The fooseball table was very disappointing as it was not a full-size and was very small. The kids were looking forward to it and did not enjoy it once they saw the size. The place was clean and had a full kitchen with all the necessities. Gave it a 3 because of the many disappointments we had.

Great Property
Overall the property was as described, wonderfully furnished and a easy check-in process with details documented in a password protected website. There was a slight difference in the property in that there are actually a "bunk" room in both sides. The kitchen is fully stocked with more dishes, utensils, etc. than you'll ever need.

Sad to leave!
Our stay couldn't have been better! We rented both downstairs units between three families (6 adults, 9 children) and had plenty of room for everyone to relax and unwind. The condos are even better than the pictures and the proximity to Canyon Lodge can't be beat. It was easy to walk to the lodge and shuttle kids back and forth for ski lessons. The underground parking, hot tub and ability for the kids to go sledding right behind the house were an added bonus. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Great Condo!
Our family loved staying at this condo. It's so close to Canyon Lodge which made it really easy to get everyone to the mountain. Also we had more than enough room to spread out since there were air mattresses and floor mattresses. We will definitely stay here again!

Excellent property for a fun filled family vacation.
This spacious and well appointed property is in an excellent location -- very near to the Canyon Lodge area at Mammoth. The public transportation system runs right in front of the property which is super convenient. The underground garage is quite large with ample space for all of our vehicles (including our mid-sized MBZ Sprinter) as well as our 11 bicycles. You will need to climb about 20 stairs to get from the garage level to the condo level.
Our group included a 3-generation family of 12 people. Being able to utilize all 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms was super convenient. The hot tub is large and accessible from both condos #1 and #2. The sauna was a bonus -- which would really be nice during a winter stay.
The kitchens are large and well stocked with everything needed for fine dining at home with enough room for 10 people at the larger dining table as well as additional space at the kitchen island.
We hope to return to this property for another stay.

Mammoth Mountain Stay
Overall we loved our stay. Our only suggestion for the owner is to fix the showers so water isn’t going on the floor each time the shower is used and increase the fan speed as everything gets very steamy, requiring us to wipe everything down.
We would stay here again, and are actually already discussing the possibilities of doing so.

Amazing for a large group of families
We rented all four units. If you want the equation for an awesome ski weekend for a large group of families it’s this: rent this building, rent ski gear through the premium service at mammoth mountain, schedule catering for dinner and breakfast, schedule a babysitter to arrive at the same time as the caterer. Basically the kids were upstairs for dinner every night with the babysitters while the grownups had dinner and fun by themselves for a few hours downstairs. Then everyone went off to bed. In the am, everyone came downstairs to get their breakfast and then got ready for the day. Everyone did their own thing on the mountain during the day. Then we met up in the hot tubs around 4pm. Rinse and repeat for a couple days. The building has plenty of space for privacy and down time but also plenty of space for 18 grownups to comfortably hang out and socialize in one unit for a few hours. Mary Beth was great and always answered my questions quickly. Everyone had an absolute blast. Do it!

The first floor condo combo ideal for large group
While the 6 bedroom/6 bath accommodation was needed for our large group, we were concerned that this rental consisted of two adjacent condos, rather than one large home. Turns out it worked perfectly. The back balcony (with spa, sauna, and BBQ grills) is accessed directly from both units, and the entrance to each unit is directly off the front foyer. The combo gave plenty of community space and the ability to fully utilize the facilities in both units.
Mary Beth provided top notch support services during the entire stay and kept us posted on local activities .
Units are attractive and very comfortable. An ideal Thanksgiving holiday destination.

Couldn’t ask for more!
Beautiful Mammoth was only enhanced with our lodging. We had a big family celebration for my brother’s 60th birthday. Everyone complimented the quality of the interior furnishings and the ability for so many to stay together yet have space to have quiet conversations. Our manager was right on top of any situation. We couldn’t have asked for more! Even had a bear furnish exciting photos, from inside of course! I highly recommend this location!

Relaxing time to reconnect
Our family vacation ran smoothly with plenty of space for the twelve of us. Having the two sides allowed one unit to stay up late and the other side to get up early. The key to family togetherness😊.
It was very comfortable and welcoming. Thanks so much for making it all so easy!
We’ll definitely stay here on the next visit.

Great Mammoth Condos
Had a great stay at Mary Beth’s Mammoth Condos. We had six adults and 10 teenagers and rented both units. AWESOME set up! Both Condos are beautiful and spacious. The sleeping arrangements are terrific. The hot tub is a great addition and big enough for the whole group. It was easy to navigate back and forth between the condos and gave us just the right amount of space that we needed. The kitchen’s in both units are really great and well stocked. The walk to Canyon Lodge is easy! We parked the car and didn’t have to get it until we left. The local trolly will also take you to the village. I recommend this unit for your next trip to Mammoth. We had a great time. Thank you Mary Beth!!
