Cabin was just as described, and had all the charming details of the vintage Arrowhead cabin we were seeking. We loved the feel of the place as a whole. The deck was so nice in mornings and evenings. We happened to be there on the hottest week of the year(so far)and utilized the fans, but it was very warm in the afternoons. I believe this was unusual for normal summer temps. Parking is tight for a truck. Otherwise, all good!

My boyfriend and I rented this place for the weekend and we absolutely loved this little charming house. We like walking to places but unfortunately the neighborhood is not appropriate for pedestrians, so I’d recommend using your own private transportation if you want to get around. Most areas of the lake surrounding the house are private.
The house was the perfect space for the 2 of us. Cozy, comfortable and reminded us of our grandmother’s houses back home in South America. The birds sing by your windows and we were obsessed with the amount of blue jays that would come greet us every morning.
It’s quiet and peaceful, hidden between trees and other houses. Parking spot it tight, and we misunderstood there was an outdoor hot tub in the propriety, which does not, but we did not miss it. There’s plenty of activities around, the village nearby is cute and had some festivals going on, and we basically spent most of the time exploring. We thought the experience was pleasurable, the house has everything you could possibly need, very well equipped. It’s modest but perfect for our needs. We would rate 8.5/10. Thanks Dave for being so nice and help us with our questions very quickly. We appreciate you and your charming property.

We had a great stay…the cabin was cozy and clean with convenient amenities. The surrounding neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. The lake and nice restaurants were close by. We definitely will stay here for future getaways.

This quaint little cottage is nestled in the forest above the lake. It has a wonderful back deck to look out and enjoy the forest any time of the day. Perfect for two people and a pup. We enjoyed our stay!

My husband, 1 year old daughter and our dog had such a wonderful time at this cabin! It’s nicely tucked away and feels remote due to the fact that you walk down some stairs from the main road to get to the cabin. It was easily accessible and had a beautiful large deck. The cabin had everything we needed for a nice weekend stay. They even had dog bowls for us, coffee, shampoo and conditioner. It was 6 min away from town which was great too! We hope to visit again!

The cabin was fantastic! The only thing that I regretted is over packing because they had everything we thought to bring.
Great place for dogs!

Very clean, very well stocked. Parking spot a little dicey, was not prepared for cabin access at the bottom of a set of stairs. My husband walks with a cane. Over all I would recommend this for couples, able-bodied only.

The cabin is cute with a lot of character and has a large deck amongst tall pines. Couldn't really see the lake due to the density of the trees but was still a beautiful place to be. Wish the screens were in working order so could enjoy the cool evening mountain air indoors as there is no air conditioning. The wifi was great, many comfy touches and pretty much well stocked in the kitchen. However, it could use a medium to large fry pan that is not cast iron. All in all, it was still worth the price and we had a great time. Keep in mind that even though you are close to the lake, only owners have access to it.

We were happy to return for our second visit to this cabin. It is so relaxing to sit on the back deck and work, play games and dine under the beautiful trees. There is new outdoor furniture since our last visit and we really enjoyed hanging out on it. The hosts are very responsive and were able to accommodate us at the last minute.

Totally enjoyed our 13-night stay.
Had fun feeding the Blue jays, chipmunks and squirrels.
Will definitely return whenever our vacation plans lead us to Lake Arrowhead.
Thanks Dave to responding so quickly to my one question early in our stay.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful cabin! It was extremely comfortable and cozy and we spent considerable time relaxing on the deck. Our dog was also well taken care of with the dog bowls and cozy dog bed in the cabin. Excellent location!

I really enjoyed our stay. It’s a vintage cabin and that’s what I enjoyed. Nothing modern but with everything you need to relax and enjoy peace and quiet. The restaurants, stores and lake are just a 6 minute drive. Just know that because the cabins here are on hills and are older dont expect them to be handicap accessible. But for us it was perfect

My family spent two nights at this charming cabin in the woods. We enjoyed the large back deck in the mornings with our coffee and the evenings with a cold beverage. The kids loved exploring the woods. The proximity to the lake was great! We enjoyed a boat cruise on Lake Arrowhead and then went swimming at nearby Lake Gregory where the kids enjoyed the floaty village and water slides. Santa’s village was also nearby for mountain biking and more family fun. We would love to stay at this cabin again and explore more of the area. We were a little nervous parking our beast of an SUV in the parking spot but made it work. Thank you for entrusting us with your little slice of heaven.

This is a very cozy cabin, like described. Very cute and perfect for just us. The deck was great for enjoying the outdoors grilling, enjoying the outdoors, reading, doing art, and just plain relaxing. We also appreciated have WiFi connectivity and watching movies at the end of the day. The cabin is doggie friendly. The cabin is also close to Arrowhead Village and a Jensen's market, if you needed to grab something for the kitchen. All the appliances worked well, and all rooms were tidy and clean. We enjoyed our little getaway and look forward to coming back.

The cabin is super cute, charming and comfy! We enjoyed sitting out on the deck taking in the mountain air.
The cabin is conveniently located to all the things we love at Arrowhead; hiking, shopping and great restaurants.
Hope to stay again next year.

Cozy Cabin Review
Loved the cabin but a number of issues which make it challenging.
Neighbors contractors reconstructing their deck using chainsaw and dropping lumber continually making the normal quiet impossible. They started at just after 7 each day. These contractors or others down the street kept parking in our parking spot making that difficult.
the steps from the street to the cabin...safety nightmare....not setup to math a normal stepping process. The concrete in each step has settled leaving a huge stepping hazard with each step with the wood framework. this made it a complete challenge going to and from whether hauling suit cases or not.
The shower setup looks beautiful but no non skid in the tub. no handle on the inside wall to each for if you might start to fall and the shower plastic and curtain either works or does not causing water on the floor.
We thought it had air conditioning so we did not read the air conditioning listing correctly when it mentioned a fan instead of air conditioning. People should know to bring electrical three prong plug adapters since part of your cabin remains wired with two prong plug duplex plugs.
I am a IT, Internet and web expert but trying to make your TV setup work was a huge challenge. It took me more than a hour and I am not sure how I managed to get to the point of making it work using the Roku clicker.
Overall I loved it.....If not for the neighbors contractor, our stay would have been as quiet as we had hopped. the layout is perfect giving us plenty of space and making it wonderful. the ever pleasant breeze helped, but we would certainly have brought one of our own fans if the air conditioning ..."No" jumped out at us. The older classic screen inserts in the living room windows need to be reworked with latches replaced so they will stay in place, including hardware to keep the outside glass par of the window swung out. whatever is there is broken and non existent. some of this may relate to the fact your cabin floor is sloped which has effected these window frames making normal operation difficult. We hired this cabin since to drive to our own cabin in Eldorado National Forest is 1200 miles round trip from San Diego and requires lots of work to open it after the winter. I am 74 years of age and my wife is 70 so the issues with the steps and your tub are important ones...... CDR Mike Brattland, USN (Ret.) El Cajon Ca

Charming Retreat
This cozy cabin is super charming with every detail perfected. Very comfortable for the two of us and our little dog, too. They mean it when they say "FIDO friendly"... there were dog bowls, a bed and even a toy! The description is absolutely accurate so there is not much more for me to describe. We loved our stay and if we find ourselves back in Lake Arrowhead, we will definitely stay again.

A nice getaway in a cozy cabin amongst the trees.
We loved the cozy, cabin feel with all the wood inside. We also liked feeling that we were amongst the trees. They put some extra touches for dog owners like a dog bed and feeding dishes which we appreciated. The parking was a bit difficult since it was a pretty small space on street level. The only thing I wish they had was a fenced backyard, but there was a nice street for walking and just off of it was a trail that went up to a flat area and a new development with great views of the lake. You can also walk to Jensen’s Grocery which was a plus. We usually go to Crestline and walk around Lake Gregory, but we wanted to give Lake Arrowhead a try. I would say my biggest complaint is that there aren’t many accessible points around the lake to walk except the Village. We also had a hard time finding a couple of trails. I would recommend the Heaps Peak Arboretum trail near Skyforest. It’s not difficult nor too long, and they had a brochure with markers for nature stops.

We loved this well apportioned cabin. A short walk to the mini mart and restaurant, and all the necessities we required. We appreciated the large bathtub, even if it took a long time to fill, and the thoughtfulness of having a bath toy for our son to play with. We look forward to staying there again.

It was ok
I dont remember if the original listing mention the stairway to enter the property. It is very steep and uneven also the railing is needing to be stabilized. Its also steep.
The heater is loud and keep me up most of the night.
There were no napkins or Kleenex.
It would be nice to have a dish drainer for clean dishes.
The couch was not that comfortable.

Cozy and comfortable
My husband, mini schnauzer, and I had a wonderful weekend here! Cabin has everything you need. We cooked a few meals and all pots/pans/utensils we could need were there. Wood stove made the nights very cozy. We would definitely stay again.
P.S. Host is right - make sure to google maps the location before leaving since we didn't have much cell service when we got there. Luckily we knew exactly what the parking spot and stairs should look like and it was a breeze!

Cute Cabin
Very cute cabin in lake arrowhead. Living space more spacious than the photos appeared, which was a nice bonus. My husband and I stayed at the cabin with our 95 pound dog and there was plenty of room for all of us. The shower was a bit strange and tight, but that was really the only component that could have been better…. Everything else was great! There were large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and soap in the bathroom which was an added bonus! The neighborhood is very cute with not many cars that drive by and many spots throughout the neighborhood had great views of the lake!
