Love love loved this property! Everything was as pictured, beautiful large spaces. Big enough for everyone to spread out. Location was perfect. House stayed cool through out the day which is important in New Orleans heat! Almost don’t want to leave this review I would prefer to keep this place a secret!

This place is even better than the photos! So much space and so many bathrooms for a larger group. The stairs were a little narrow, but otherwise our stay was great! Would highly recommend this VRBO to other groups staying in the area.

The location was perfect with close proximity to great shopping and restaurants in the Garden District as well as a very quick cab ride to the Quarter. Communication with the team on site was excellent before and during the stay. There were five of us that stayed this weekend, but we could’ve easily accommodated, three or four more people. I highly recommend this property.

Amazing place for a big group! We had 10 adults and easily fit with a few sharing a king size bed. Close to many good restaurants and coffee shops and short Uber rides to both Bourbon St and Frenchmen. Thanks for having us in your amazing home!

We have been spending xmas in New Orleans for the last few years to have family time and celebrate xmas birthdays. This location was my favorite so far. The neighborhood is great with so many cafes and resturants within walking distance. The home is just beautiful and very comfortable. We had more than enough room for everyone to spread out and have personal space when they needed it and large common areas for everyone to come together. Would absolutely stay here again!!

Kurt and his property manager went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. They respond immediately to any need or question. The home is beautiful, tasteful, and in a great neighborhood- convenient to everything, but away from the chaos. Many stairs but very spacious. Neighborhood restaurants and coffee shops within an easy stroll.

Truly the best experiences I’ve ever had staying at a rental property. We were here for a bachelorette so it was a big group of women and every single one of us loved the place. Courtney the property manager was an absolute dream to work with and made our stay so easy and incredible. We loved everything about the house and our stay here. I’m hoping for another big group visit to New Orleans so we can stay here again!

The KING was perfect for our 2-family getaway! The house is beautiful, well supplied, and in the perfect location between the French Quarter and Garden District. The property manager was quick to answer questions and make recommendations. NOLA is one of our favorite cities, and we will definitely want to stay there again.

Beautiful home, great location in uptown New Orleans. Check in process was simple and the house manager was needy gracious. Would recommend.

Huge place with LOTS of room. Kitchen has everything you need to cook a nice meal, although there are so many amazing places nearby you may just want to eat out. Owner was VERY responsive and helpful. We'll be back!

The house is large and decorated beautifully. We loved staying there. It fell short of 5 stars because it was not cleaned well before our stay and needed some attention to details. Bare feet turned black from the floors, rugs were dirty, and kitchen counters had not been cleaned. Several chairs were broken and kitchen cabinets were a mishmash of stuff with no organization. For a house that large there was flatware for maybe eight people, limited cookware, and way too few trash cans in bedrooms and bathrooms. The house advertises a temp controlled wine closet. (We brought 2 cases of expensive wine.) It has become a junk closet. Other closets and the laundry room were in disarray. The courtyard had trash around. On the positive side Courtney was great at communication on how to get in and check out and seemed generally interested in our well being. I truly would have liked to see a little more TLC for this amazing house.

We rented The King on Magazine while in NOLA for my daughter's wedding. The house is gorgeous - spacious, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The pictures don't capture the massive scale of this incredible home. The owner and house manager were extremely responsive to any questions or issues that popped up. Highly recommend this property!

The house was beautiful and clean. The communication with the property manager, Courtney, was great! She sent me a text with the check in instructions, Wifi password and entry code. As our flight was arriving in the morning, Courtney was able to get us into the house early, which was greatly appreciated! The next morning, we woke up to find no hot water in the showers. I sent a text to Courtney at 8:00 a.m. and she promptly text me back, advising that the shower in the rear of the house was on a separate hot water heater and she would be sending a plumber over to fix the problem. The house is fabulous for a family. The front bedroom is a bit noisy. The beds are comfortable. We were in town for a wedding. We walked to Lula Distillery, Gris Gris, which was FABULOUS, and Cochon Butcher! Getting in and out of downtown was an easy Uber ride away. All in all, it was a great little get away to New Orleans. We would certainly rent this house again!

This is truly a wonderful house in a great neighborhood- walking distance to many great restaurants, bars and shops. Kurt and the property manager were very responsive during our stay. The house is truly beautiful and has everything you need to make you feel like a King for a week :)

Best Weekend Ever!
My family, my fiance and I, and our MOH & Best Man stayed in this house for our wedding weekend! It came highly recommended by my photographer, and I am so thankful she did. This place is PERFECTION and Kurt and Courtney are so wonderful to work with! The bridesmaids and groomsmen were able to get ready in the same house, we did our first look and family/bridal party photos outside, and they came out absolutely beautiful!! Talk about CONVENIENT! If you're looking for a special event, a fun girls weekend, whatever the reason, stop looking now!! King of Magazine is the best! Thank you Kurt and Courtney for having us! We'll never forget the most magical weekend ever!

The King is the Jam
We stayed at The King for a handful of days to celebrate one of my best friend's wedding. Having spent lots of time in NOLA over the years, I've gotten to know the city well. The King is a very cool house in a good neighborhood and I would absolutely stay here again due to it's proximity to Uptown and the Quarter. Both Kurt and management were helpful for our visit.

Wonderful house in great neighborhood
Our company rented the King on magazine for our team to enjoy during a convention. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to wind down after long days at the Morial Convention Center. The house is cozy yet spacious. The property manager was amazing to work with. We loved all the coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance of our home away from home. We loved it!

Great location for visiting Garden District, Warehouse District, French Quarter, by Trolleys & Uber
We had a great stay !!
House was great and very functional for the party we stayed with. Everyone commented that house was perfect for our party.
All the amenities you would need.
Location was perfect close to the downtown New Orleans but far enough away for quite and relaxation. Enough rooms that people could have there individual space. Would stay again

Best House Ever!
My family and I stayed here for 5 nights and we could not of had a more enjoyable experience. When we walked in there was champagne waiting for us! Plenty of rooms complete with extremely comfortable beds & nice bedding! The various sitting areas around the house were wonderful as it was my wedding weekend so we had friends coming in and out who wanted to stay and chat. Plenty of room to do that without bugging other people in the house. Also the outdoor courtyard was the best especially at night when we switched on the string lights. We had perfect weather so we spent a lot of time out here. We were able to use the driveway which helped tremendously because this area of Nola is tricky & parking can be tough. The lockbox was easy to access so we always had a spare key with people being on different schedules.
The neighborhood is great. We walked to Fat Boy pantry, Surrey’s, French Truck Coffee & Barrell Proof.
Kurt and Courtney were accessible before, during and after our visit, when I thought I had left some items. Overall, my family didn’t want to leave. It was wonderful & truly made the special weekend that much more magical. Highly recommend!!!

Lovely home!
This was a beautiful home and the perfect location to spend Mardi Gras! The pictures don't do it justice. It's HUGE and plenty of room for a big group. The house is also very well stocked. Being right on Magazine St. puts you in all the action - obviously there's the pitfalls of the noise when you're on a main street, but nothing can beat being able to walk everywhere you need to go when there's parades happening nonstop! Would definitely recommend.

Historical & Lovely
This home was spacious and beautiful! Having rented many homes, I very much appreciated that the basic amenities were provided which included coffee and creamer. The concierge who assisted us was wonderful and we loved the prosecco welcome. The home is conveniently located close to the French Quarter and a ton of fun stores and restaurants on Magazine Street. I would HIGHLY recommend this rental!

Beautiful home to enjoy New Orleans for the weekend. Big enough for everyone to have their own room and space.

Gorgeous Spot with Lots of Great Space
We rented both this spot (the “King”) and the adjacent spot (the “Queen”) for Thanksgiving. There were 11 of us, and we wanted plenty of space. We wanted to have family time, but also to be able to retire to our own spaces. This was the perfect solution. The restorations they did are beautiful!
The service was also fantastic. The kitchen has wonderful gourmet appliances, but since we would be cooking Thanksgiving dinner (and I was going to be doing pies), I wanted to make sure everything we needed would be available. Courtney was extremely friendly and responsive and went above and beyond by providing us with a new food processor and pie pans. That was extremely classy.
If I were to have one minor complaint, it would be that the bedrooms facing the front street could be a bit loud with traffic noise at times, but that’s not the fault of anybody. With that, however, you get proximity to the French Quarter, the St. Charles Streetcar, the WWII Museum, a nearby park, some cute and tasty coffee shops, breakfast places, and beer/whiskey spots. You will have a wonderful stay if you choose this spot. :)

Amazing property with easy access to everything
We stayed here for our 10th wedding anniversary for two weeks. There is VERY easy access to the St Charles street car for travel to French Quarter and beyond. The house was gorgeous, had everything we needed, and the property owner was extremely responsive to any issues that came up in our two week stay. Would definitely rent this property again.

I would love to return soon!!

Beautiful home in a great location
I would give this a 5 star review but two of the shower curtains had a considerable amount of staining and mold. Other than that it is a beautiful home in a great location.

Lots of Charm and Loads of Space
We spent 4 nights in this lovely home for a family gathering of 10 adults over Easter. It's a beautiful well appointed home with comfortable beds and great lounging space. Enjoyed the proximity of the property to the trolley and the ease of an uber ride in minutes. Good location and very easy to access. Communications with the owner and caretaker were timely and accurate.
On the flip side, I almost gave the property 4 stars because it really needed a bit more in the cleaning department. We also found it needed things like a wine opener and a can opener. Not really what you want to discover when making Easter dinner. But don't let these little things stop you from enjoying this lovely home!

Beautifully re-done spacious historical New Orleans classic
Its central location and commodious spaces make this renovated home the perfect place for a group to enjoy each others' company and from which to experience all of New Orleans. The owner and the local concierge manager were delightfully welcoming, helpful, available and accommodating. Everything was clean and well maintained. Our group of friends enjoyed sitting around at the house in the comfortable living room and at the great dining table catching up, enjoying morning coffee and evening wine, as well as venturing out to all parts of the city on foot and by easy Uber/Lyft. I have lived in New Orleans and have also stayed in a number of good rental homes when visiting, and I highly recommend this property.

Beautiful home
This house was absolutely stunning. It was perfect for our birthday celebration during Mardi Gras. Easily within walking distance to all of the parades we attended on St. Charles. We were able to sit on the front steps and watch people walking down to the people's parade on Fat Tuesday. The courtyard was a quiet retreat to get away from it all. Courtney was a huge help, supplying the house with anything that we requested. She was great to work with. Hope to return someday soon.
