About this house rental
This horse ranch turned vacation rental combines rustic country living with modern convenience. The large kitchen is a chef’s dream, and fully equipped with everything you could ever need from appliances to cookware. The house features 4 bedrooms: two upstairs rooms each with a queen bed and two downstairs rooms, one with 2 twin extra long beds, and the other a master suite with a California King sized bed and private attached bathroom with Jacuzzi tub. The spacious house features a large game room/common area with a reading nook, electric fireplace, and two queen sized memory foam sofa beds. There is no shortage of space for family and friends to gather, including a dining room with a large table for 12, a sitting room with fireplace and piano, 3 outdoor seating areas with a fire-pit, and a BBQ/Outdoor game area complete with a dartboard, corn hole, and a horseshoe pit, all with the backdrop of spectacular panoramic views.
A gorgeous semi-private swimming hole runs along the edge of the property and can be accessed a short walk from the house. We do however, only recommend swimming between mid-June and late August at your own risk.
The property is conveniently located less then 5 miles from the heart of town, dining, groceries, gas stations, galleries, and gift stores and 15 minutes to the entrance of Sequoia National Park.

Redstone Ranch is a heritage haven with the right amount of farm-charm! A spacious ranch-style home with an oversized dining table fit to accommodate everyone. Main floor has the entryway, generous kitchen with extra large island counter, dining area, sitting room, master bedroom and bathroom (tub and toilet only), laundry room, bathroom with shower and toilet, and bedroom with two single beds. Upstairs has a spacious game room with table, television, couches, chairs, and shelves of books, movies, board games and puzzles, two bedrooms with beds for couples and another bathroom with shower and toilet. Outdoor activities include dart board, ping pong and a relaxing swimming hole worth the hunt if you can find it. The human-sized four-foot gate at the base of the driveway labeled “swimming hole” is the hint and then it’s only a short trail away. We had planned to spend all of our time in the national parks, but due to the long winding drives and comfort of the home, we spent a third of our time just relaxing. Thanks for making this special place available to our family.

We held a high school student council retreat using this property and it was excellent.
The property had exactly what we needed, space to feed 20 people and to have workshops in the upstairs room.
Kitchen was nice and big and we could prep and serve the food comfortably.
We would definitely book this property in the future!

House is beautiful, location is as described and would recommend this rental. House was clean and accommodated all 10 of us easily. However, we did encounter some problems that were never corrected after being reported.
For instance, we never had hot water in showers or bathrooms - kitchen sink was hot, but only cold shower’s available- even after running water for twenty minutes- as told to do by property manager. Also had no WiFi entire stay. Was told that the WiFi code was in a binder by entry door- but we never found the binder and manager could not remember password without looking at binder. Manager not willing to reset code to accommodate not having binder available. Requested on-site assistance in locating binder and no one ever came. We ended up going into town to use restaurant WiFi.
We only had a partial roll of paper towels upon checkin, none in pantry, but manager did give us access to another roll from locked supply room. Much appreciated when cooking and keeping kitchen area clean.
Also, take hangers if you want some- none or very limited number available throughout all the bedrooms.
Patio was great- fire pit used and enjoyed.
Walk to river was easy and good directions so as to not trespass on neighbor’s property.
Had two friendly dogs come to visit- a treat for the kids.

This house is huge, very clean, and extremely well-stocked (except that there were no tissues). I've never seen such a big kitchen, with so many cabinets. Beautiful views of the mountains and the horse farm. Very comfortable beds and furniture. There were just two issues. One is that I was unable to communicate with the owner or manager. I sent an email about a minor question and received no reply. I then called but was unable to leave a message. The other issue shouldn't be a problem for most and is certainly not the fault of the homeowner - there were two dogs wandering outside the house, and we couldn't find an owner. Because my son is afraid of dogs, we unfortunately were not able to have him sit outside. I don't know if they belong to a neighbor and if they would return. But these are minor shortcomings compared to the many outstanding features of the house.

Everyone raved about this place…it definitely is geared toward us…big extended family who love to take walks, cook together, play games, play the piano, relax and socialize. We stayed here on a mini vacation to Sequoia…. Crescent Meadows and General Sherman. Extended family age ranges 16-76. I could go on and on about how wonderful this place is. I only like vacation rentals that you can tell the owners actually use the place themselves - so useful amenities abound. I only needed to bring my crock pot and salad bowls and my favorite Santoku knife… everything else for meal prep was there… including some spices I forgot to bring. Thank you so much for this memorable time.

The house was incredibly clean and gad everything we needed for a comfortable stay. This would be a great house to gather a large family. The kids had a great time playing the piano and enjoyed the swimming hole.

Stunning views of the mountains. This property was perfect for our needs and lots of space to move around. The kitchen was stocked with any and everything you could possibly need. There was even an ice chest with wheels.

This is truly an amazing home near Three Rivers with beautiful views. The home has an incredible kitchen and is beautiful throughout. It is a little out of the way but it’s well worth it

This is a great place to stay for larger groups, with beautiful views from almost every window. Everything sparkly clean. Lots of room. One thing I need to say is that this is not a 4 bathroom house. At best it is a 3 1/4 bath. 4 toilets, 2 showers, one bathtub in the master.
10.0 / 10.0
Pros:
-Close to the entrance of Sequoia (especially great if you're going multiple times) and near a gas station/market and some restaurants. Also close to a white water rafting business.
-We had 7 adults and 1 toddler (place well suited for a toddler) and had plenty of room for everyone to sleep and have their own space. Had everything we needed in terms of basics - towels/blankets and well stocked kitchen w/ pots/pans.
-Check in was extremely easy and we got settled in with wifi/finding what we needed pretty easily.
Considerations:
-Half bath didn't have the water supply turned on. When we found that and turned it on, the tank kept refilling on its own, so we kept it off which means we weren't able to use that half bath. Told the owner and they responded they would tell maintenance.
-Fair number of decently sized bugs. Most were partially dead so weren't too big of a problem to remove. Don't think there's much that can be done about this since the property is surrounded by nature but is a consideration in case you care.
-Misc:
1) Freezer light bulb was broken in pieces
2) Keurig machine didn't work
3) Large hairball on one of the shower's walls which must have been missed in cleaning
4) Primary bedroom mattress topper is very soft
5) Gravel road last 5 min to the house (sedans were ok)
Note the pros definitely outweighed the considerations here. We had a great time at this location and loved having the space for our large group. I would recommend this to others!

Our group of 10 guests with a mix of children and adults had plenty of space to spread out. We loved seeing the green hills and river from the large windows throughout the house or from the comfy outdoor seating. There were plenty of games/puzzles/movies/etc to keep anyone entertained for weeks! Communication with the host was excellent and check in was a breeze. Thank you for providing a comfortable, inviting home for us.

Beautiful property to stay at and with the windows open we could hear the rain and the river. Peaceful, relaxing, and just what we all needed to escape work for a moment. Large and accommodating home with tons of kitchen space! A regular stay for our family to get together when we can and we will certainly be back.

We have a circle of friends that get together a few times a year. It’s always a challenge to have enough beds & bedrooms. There are 4 bedrooms with a large living space upstairs that has two queen sleeper sofas. The accommodations are very homey. The towels are very nice & there were enough for everyone. There is access to the river & they even have “river towels” The kitchen table accommodates 12 adults. The kitchen is a chef’s dream with plenty of pots, pans & skillets to cook for a large crowd. The large island in the middle of the kitchen made meal prep a breeze. It was well stocked with spices, coffee & tea. They have truly thought of everything. So many kitchen tools & appliances. The only item I didn’t find was a potato masher, but the hand held mixer did a great job. The house was very clean & fresh. There are also a few outdoor sitting areas. We loved stargazing. We are already planning our next trip.

Perfect Vacation Home
This was a perfect vacation home for our group of (3) families. Traveled from Yosemite towards Sequoia / Kings Canyon. Serene setting and a beautiful, clean, spacious home. We made use of the Dart board, ping pong table, cornhole setup, piano, outdoor lounge area with fire pit. Followed instructions to the nearby creek (on property) for couple exciting fishing sessions. All were impressed and had a wonderful stay. Great response from Owner Jaime - who responded to all my contacts. Thank-you Jaime!

Nice country house
This is a great house suitable for larger families or groups. It is set a good way off the main road and has lots of wildlife around. The house had lots of space for gatherings and areas for kids to play inside and out.

Excellent ranch home in a beautiful location
The ranch home is in an idyllic location and was very comfortable throughout. The only slight bummer is that the trail markings to the river were a bit faded / grown over and we saw a rattlesnake on the weed covered path, which was a bit of extra excitement. I consider the river a bonus though, so it did not detract from the enjoyment of our stay.

Amazing property
We stayed here with another family and the house was clean and spacious enough for everyone to be comfortable. The property was beautiful, with a creek and a couple of horses on property. Kitchen was well appointed with plenty of tools. Large dining table for everyone to eat together. We also enjoyed evenings in front of the firepit. Property manager was quickly responsive to questions during our stay. If we get a chance, we would love to come back again in the future!

great house to share with friends
The trip was great. We hang out with another family and enjoy every bit of the house. The kitchen is well stocked and have kcup coffee pods ready for use so we don’t have to buy coffees. The host quickly responds to our request. Will definitely stay again.

Yes! and again, YES!
Excellent location and I wish we had more time to unwind here. Highly recommended for large groups and even those who enjoy space. Make sure to follow the directions getting there as it is hidden up a hill but so worth it. Looking forward to our next stay at this particular location. Everyone was so comfortable and relaxed. Well done!

Three Rivers
Beautiful property , very scenic location and great view from all rooms, especially the den . Clean with all amenities. Was little hard to locate property as we reached late in the night. Recommendation for owners to have a couple extra roll of paper towels as we ran out and couldn't find any extra. Also a recommendation to have an unused dish cleaning pad, so that we do not have to use the ones left by someone else. On the whole we had a great time and thank you to the owners for making the property so welcoming.

Great Kitchen
There are a lot of pluses to this house. It's location is only 20 minutes from the south entrance to Sequoia. It's moments from a coffee shop. And the entire place is open and spacious. To our delight the kitchen is even bigger than the pictures show. We had a great time as a family of 7 cooking meals, preparing snacks for hikes in the park and just hanging out together.

Wonderful
My family and I recently stayed on this very wonderful property. My 4 year old son wouldn't even want to go home.
Jaime was a superb to accommodate our early check- in request. The house was very clean, very nice place, nice view , it has everything you need and a lot of space for the whole family.
Thank you so much!

Spacious, clean and warm
The home was spacious for our group of 11 with lots of amenities in the kitchen (supplies) and in the living room (games, books, tv). The views were beautiful, but due to the rain, it was too muddy to explore the land. Location was conveniently close to sequoia national park. Owners for very responsive.

Amazing House and Location
Like everyone said the pics don’t do this house and property justice. Clean, well kept, comfortable, well stocked and lots of space. Big kitchen and eating area, 8 of us, 4 adults, 4 preteens/teens. Kids had own gaming and TV space upstairs and covered outside area with ping pong and darts. Huge dining table also was a game/card table for all of us. Outside seating/fire pit area was perfect for stargazing and s’mores. Quiet, awesome views, horses, welcoming neighbor dog (Sage) that led us to the creek and back home. Great location to really good food (Sierra Subs), coffee and ice cream (Reimers) and beef jerky! 15 min to Seq park entrance. A little secluded but once you find it easy to get to. Loved it, thank you!!!

Gotta update communication tab, no number was listed for property manager and number on file goes to a mailbox not set up. Other than that great location, great views and lovely location.

Perfect for Families!
This was a perfect property for our annual family reunion. The house was immaculate, roomy. And provided all the space we needed for our group of 12. Although the swimming holes were not too inviting due to the slow water flows we did enjoy a day at the Slick Rock reaction area and 2 days in the parks. We made a great friend with Sage a sweet dog from the Ranch across the street. The kids enjoyed playing ball with her. Thank you VRBO for the opportunity to share a wonderful week with our family!
