About this house rental

This horse ranch turned vacation rental combines rustic country living with modern convenience. The large kitchen is a chef’s dream, and fully equipped with everything you could ever need from appliances to cookware. The house features 4 bedrooms: two upstairs rooms each with a queen bed and two downstairs rooms, one with 2 twin extra long beds, and the other a master suite with a California King sized bed and private attached bathroom with Jacuzzi tub. The spacious house features a large game room/common area with a reading nook, electric fireplace, and two queen sized memory foam sofa beds. There is no shortage of space for family and friends to gather, including a dining room with a large table for 12, a sitting room with fireplace and piano, 3 outdoor seating areas with a fire-pit, and a BBQ/Outdoor game area complete with a dartboard, corn hole, and a horseshoe pit, all with the backdrop of spectacular panoramic views.
A gorgeous semi-private swimming hole runs along the edge of the property and can be accessed a short walk from the house. We do however, only recommend swimming between mid-June and late August at your own risk.
The property is conveniently located less then 5 miles from the heart of town, dining, groceries, gas stations, galleries, and gift stores and 15 minutes to the entrance of Sequoia National Park.

Redstone Ranch is a heritage haven with the right amount of farm-charm! A spacious ranch-style home with an oversized dining table fit to accommodate everyone. Main floor has the entryway, generous kitchen with extra large island counter, dining area, sitting room, master bedroom and bathroom (tub and toilet only), laundry room, bathroom with shower and toilet, and bedroom with two single beds. Upstairs has a spacious game room with table, television, couches, chairs, and shelves of books, movies, board games and puzzles, two bedrooms with beds for couples and another bathroom with shower and toilet. Outdoor activities include dart board, ping pong and a relaxing swimming hole worth the hunt if you can find it. The human-sized four-foot gate at the base of the driveway labeled “swimming hole” is the hint and then it’s only a short trail away. We had planned to spend all of our time in the national parks, but due to the long winding drives and comfort of the home, we spent a third of our time just relaxing. Thanks for making this special place available to our family.

We held a high school student council retreat using this property and it was excellent. The property had exactly what we needed, space to feed 20 people and to have workshops in the upstairs room. Kitchen was nice and big and we could prep and serve the food comfortably. We would definitely book this property in the future!

House is beautiful, location is as described and would recommend this rental. House was clean and accommodated all 10 of us easily. However, we did encounter some problems that were never corrected after being reported. For instance, we never had hot water in showers or bathrooms - kitchen sink was hot, but only cold shower’s available- even after running water for twenty minutes- as told to do by property manager. Also had no WiFi entire stay. Was told that the WiFi code was in a binder by entry door- but we never found the binder and manager could not remember password without looking at binder. Manager not willing to reset code to accommodate not having binder available. Requested on-site assistance in locating binder and no one ever came. We ended up going into town to use restaurant WiFi. We only had a partial roll of paper towels upon checkin, none in pantry, but manager did give us access to another roll from locked supply room. Much appreciated when cooking and keeping kitchen area clean. Also, take hangers if you want some- none or very limited number available throughout all the bedrooms. Patio was great- fire pit used and enjoyed. Walk to river was easy and good directions so as to not trespass on neighbor’s property. Had two friendly dogs come to visit- a treat for the kids.

This house is huge, very clean, and extremely well-stocked (except that there were no tissues). I've never seen such a big kitchen, with so many cabinets. Beautiful views of the mountains and the horse farm. Very comfortable beds and furniture. There were just two issues. One is that I was unable to communicate with the owner or manager. I sent an email about a minor question and received no reply. I then called but was unable to leave a message. The other issue shouldn't be a problem for most and is certainly not the fault of the homeowner - there were two dogs wandering outside the house, and we couldn't find an owner. Because my son is afraid of dogs, we unfortunately were not able to have him sit outside. I don't know if they belong to a neighbor and if they would return. But these are minor shortcomings compared to the many outstanding features of the house.

Everyone raved about this place…it definitely is geared toward us…big extended family who love to take walks, cook together, play games, play the piano, relax and socialize. We stayed here on a mini vacation to Sequoia…. Crescent Meadows and General Sherman. Extended family age ranges 16-76. I could go on and on about how wonderful this place is. I only like vacation rentals that you can tell the owners actually use the place themselves - so useful amenities abound. I only needed to bring my crock pot and salad bowls and my favorite Santoku knife… everything else for meal prep was there… including some spices I forgot to bring. Thank you so much for this memorable time.

The house was incredibly clean and gad everything we needed for a comfortable stay. This would be a great house to gather a large family. The kids had a great time playing the piano and enjoyed the swimming hole.

Stunning views of the mountains. This property was perfect for our needs and lots of space to move around. The kitchen was stocked with any and everything you could possibly need. There was even an ice chest with wheels.
