The top floor of an all concrete building offers you privacy and quiet rare to vacation suites. Suite 1504 Waters Edge Resort is an OCEANFRONT one bedroom suite with rare second full bath and your own washer and dryer. No excuses, directly on the ocean. View from the balcony is the pool, the beach and the Atlantic Ocean with no ugly parking lots, roads or buildings to ruin your unforgettable view! (see pics below)
Garden City Beach SC is about 20 min from downtown Myrtle Beach and 10-15 minutes from Murrells Inlet and is a more relaxed, less crowded and family oriented town with lots of things to do.
Waters Edge Resort is a 15 story concrete and steel building directly on the ocean. All units have private balconies overlooking the beach and ocean. We have 5 spotlessly clean rooms; 1 bedroom, 2 full baths, a kitchen and a living area. It sleeps 4 and has a queen size bed, one queen sofa bed, a kitchen stocked with all full size modern appliances and utensils, full size washer and dryer, central heat and A/C and 2 flat screen TVs with remote, extended basic cable and HBO. There is one TV in the living room and one in the bedroom.
There is a bar and gift shop, indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs and an exercise room on the ground floor. The two elevators were rebuilt Spring 2024. There are bars, restaurants, amusements, rides and a fishing pier, all within walking distance.
Myrtle Beach has quite a few brewery and distillery tours you can learn about here. https://www.visitmyrtlebeach.com/article/breweries-to-check-out-in-myrtle-beach. Waters Edge Resort is just a step away from all Myrtle Beach has to offer: Over 80 golf courses, outlet shopping, fine dining, entertainment theaters, water parks, exciting and diverse night life. Murrells Inlet is the next town south, known as the 'Seafood Capital of the South, features the area’s best restaurants. There you can rent waverunners and boats, go parasailing, or go inshore or offshore fishing. Only thing about our room the couches were not to comfy in room 1504 love love love the water pressure an about the outside we were early morning walkers but u had to go threw the public beach access to get to beach the deck was not open till 8 so u had no were to wash ur feet u had to bring the sand back up to ur room but overall andy was a really great guy

The condo was true to the pics. Extremely clean! 15th floor was an awesome view! Communication with Andy was great, especially since the room was cleaned and ready for us 2 hours early! That never happens at most places.

The unit was just as described on line; cozy, tastefully decorated, spotless and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We stayed for two weeks and our host, Andy, checked in with us several times to make sure we had everything we needed, including a million dollar view!

We rented this condo for a baseball tournament my son was playing in at Myrtle Beach. The condo was one of the cleanest places we have ever rented. It was a beautiful condo with gorgeous, unobstructed views of the ocean. It had a fully stocked kitchen which made it great the evenings we cooked there. The condo was perfect for our family. Andy was an awesome host and stayed in contact with us the entire time of our stay to make sure everything was ok and to make sure we didn’t need anything. I would definitely rent this condo again and I highly recommend it for anyone thinking about staying here!

Received a text at 315 stating unit was ready, arrived to find a spotless, well updated and unit stocked with everything you might expect and more! Did have a problem with the A/C, due to mechanical failure, and the owner went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. Unit was better than in the photos, very comfortable and will be returning in the future. Thank you

The moment we opened the door to the condo, the smell was wonderful! Very Clean.. and it lingered for days😊 We loved the furniture, decor and the ocean front view from the balcony! The towels were very plush and the kitchen was well stocked.
We knew ahead of time that the bed was a queen size. The ONLY thing I would have liked better would have been a King size bed… that’s all.
The parking was easy, the pool was very refreshing and we met some of the nicest people while being guests there. Andy was very easy to work with and he made our week there, very relaxing and comfortable. We look forward to returning in the future!

Everything about the stay was wonderful. The only issue I had was the fact that the rental umbrellas took up a lot of the beach space. You needed to claim a spot before 7:00 am otherwise it was hard to find a good spot.

The condo we stayed in was very clean with a nice view. We were told 2 weeks before our vacation that the pool was not open because of the destruction of hurricane Ian. We received this information too late to change condos. The bottom floor was a mess with ply wood walls. I think they had bad contractors - all the places around us were up and running. We will not go back.

We stayed here April 15 to 22. The condo was wonderful. Andy was extremely easy to talk with and very communicative with us. Everything was spotless and very well stocked. My wife and I spent lots of time out on the balcony which is very roomy and private. The view of the beach and ocean from the 15th floor is breathtaking and there are lots of things to do in the area as well as many great restaurants (Check out River City Cafe for a great burger).
I would definitely book again with Andy and highly recommend staying here.

The condo itself was nice. The building was older than we expected and there was a lot of construction on the lower level, pool and deck area, which was somewhat disruptive. We were informed 2 weeks before booking that there would be no pool or deck area due to the hurricane damage last Sept. we may have changed to another location if we had known this more in advance.

The pictures tell most of the story. We stayed for a month. The amenities (Indoor and out
door Pool, and Hot Tubs.), are well kept and clean. The view from the Balcony is a 190 degree view of the Atlantic Ocean.
The white sand beach stretches as far as You can see. Close to everything.
The inside of the apartments decorations, look like a Home and Garden Picture, but it is extremely Homey Feeling. We will Go Back Again.

Lovely condo, exceptional owner
Very clean and comfortable condo, and you won't find a more attentive host/owner than Andy. He took care to make sure we were satisfied and had a great visit. We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen (even having soap, detergent, paper products), the comfortable balcony furniture (I get so frustrated with places that have a million-dollar view and $20 chairs), and the overall cleanliness and decor. It was our first time staying this far south at Myrtle, and we loved being close to Garden City pier and Murrell's Inlet. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets as well as sunrises. The beach itself is wonderful -- broad and smooth. An easy drive to Georgetown, too. The Water's Edge building itself is nice and well maintained. All in all it was a great visit that ended far too soon!

It is only a short drive to Huntington Beach State Park which is beautiful and relaxing! Brookgreen Gardens is also a short trip and worth a visit. Restaurants are just a walk up the beach. Clean, Convenient, Spectacular View
This condo is perfect for a couple to enjoy a week at the beach. It is clean, comfortable and so close to restaurants, shopping, and the beach!! Sitting on the balcony and watching the sun or moon rise and the waves coming in is so relaxing. Our host contacted us to be sure everything was as it should be. We have already secured our reservation for next year!
