Beautiful property with spacious rooms, well-stocked kitchen, and enjoyable amenities like game rooms and hot tubs. Perfect location for family gatherings with stunning views and nearby attractions.

The directions to the property were very accurate. The driveway to the cabin was very steep! We couldn’t check in on time because the washing machine broke and flooded the floor, but they were working very hard to clean it up. They warned us about an active bear in the area and we did see one! The main floor a/c wasn’t working and they couldn’t get it fixed til the day we checked out. They gave us a partial refund which we accepted.

Location is nice. The house is outdated had mold in the bathroom. Told the property manager never heard back from him. Also, the showerhead had corrosion or mold on them as well. The cleaners did not get done cleaning the house until 11 PM. Therefore I lost the day and I feel like I should’ve been compensated for that and the mold because I wouldn’t let anyone stay in there also none of the lights outside worked he said that he will come back in the morning and get that taken care of never heard from him again...

I was very disappointed with my stay at this cabin. When I arrived, the place was dirty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned from the previous guests. Even after contacting the owner, the cabin wasn’t cleaned until two hours after my scheduled check-in time. Although I was told the cabin would be ready by 3:30 PM, it wasn’t. The cabin itself is in need of a deep cleaning and proper maintenance. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place based on my experience.

Property has a resident bear, which was very cool. Caution if you have little ones, he did come up on porch as we were trying to load cars.
Everything adequate. Property was surface clean, but badly needs a deep clean. Lots of dust on trim surfaces and under fridge. Beds were not all comfortable and some pillows were like laying head on a rock.
Says games, but only games were on xbox, which we could never get to work, as well as tv in basement game area. Pool cue tips need replacing. Hard to play when cue chalk would not even stick to tip.

A very memorable and wonderful stay at the Amazing Memories Lodge. Great place with great views with short 25 mins drives to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Hosts were very responsive to our questions thoughout our stay.

Beautiful view from porches and many of the rooms. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cutlery, utensils, pots, keurig (did not use) toaster; did not find a griddle or fry pan for pancakes. Had 2 dinners at the house & 3 dinners out. House was not clean upon arrival, three housekeepers arrived around 5pm & were done in a couple hours. House could stand a deep cleaning - shower curtain bottoms & tub jets had pink mold; downstairs game area with bunk beds & laundry & 2 bedrooms air not quite as fresh. We used the outdoor hot tub👍. The outdoor gas grill was not cleaned & parts broken; the broken dishwasher was never fixed. There was a bad smell under the sink next to the dishwasher. One in our party scrubbed the plastic dish drainer & we hand washed dishes during our stay. We had brought a few extra dish towels. Overall we enjoyed our time in the house & the Smokies; we all saw one bear on the front porch (we were all inside the house already) & a couple of us saw a fox early the next morning. Appreciated the location near Townsend aka the peaceful (quieter) side compared to Gatlinburg. Made a number of trips into the Park as a whole family & in small groups. Many in our family used the pool a short drive away- which also offers a fishing pond for children & their family. Again overall we had a great time there.

Overall, our family enjoyed their stay. The house was nice and we had plenty of space when we had to be inside due to rain. The air conditioning didn't work the first 2 days but it was soon repaired. I submitted to emails to the owners about the 10% discount for teachers, and 1st reponders but never got a response.

Family in town from all over the USA to visit the Smokies, some to re-live old memories and some for the first time. Easy access to Great Smoky Mountains National Park and local attractions in Wears Valley and Townsend. Also lots to do in the cabin when the weather was bad.

The best things about this property easy access not too far up the mountain. 5 bedrooms with private baths, that is hard to come by and was great for our family. The deck space was huge! we could even play cornhole. The kids enjoyed the games. The kitchen was well stocked and made it easy to prepare meals. The beds were very comfortable.
the home owner was available for communication during our stay.
The dishwasher broke and could not be repaired during our visit. We made the best of a bad situation, we cooked all meals. and washed a lot of dishes. The AC both work very well , however one zone froze up. we had to leave it off for a full day to un thaw. it started working again properly.
I did mention that we were both fire fighters and I am also a Veteran. I was told I was eligible for the discount but the discount was not given. So.. if you really need the savings. Make sure that it will be given. I honestly was too busy to track it. The house smelled clean of bleach on arrival. linens, bathrooms, and kitchen were clean. overall could use a deep clean and the removal of dust from light fixtures, baseboards and so on. Turnover companies usually do not do this type of cleaning.
Great house though! Gigi

This is not our first time in the area but definitely one of the best houses we have stayed in. Exceptionally clean and welcoming home. Would recommend to anyone going to the area.

Comfortable sleeping for 12 senior women. Beautiful view of the Smokier with a great table and rocking chairs on the front porch.
A word of caution. Make sure your car doors are locked and food wrappers, food and candy removed due to very smart bears.

We were a 2 family group with one returning to the mountains and 1 new to the mountains. This location was perfect, close enough without being in the mix, easy to get to PF or Gatlinburg. Townsend was very close which was great!
We had one real issue that was responded to immediately and corrected within a day, excellent communication!
Cabin size and features were as described and the hot tub and game room were a big hit.
Loved the windows! Fireplace came in handy due to a cold spell that blew thru on our week. We were very satisfied with everything!

We had a wonderful week in the mountains at this terrific property. We had a few minor issues. One issue being the check in and another issue being the hot tub. The property manager answered quickly and efficiently. Locations was perfect for getting to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. There were also shops near the house that were perfect for eating or browsing.

The lodge is well built, solid, and in a good location. It was dirty. It needs a deep cleaning. Carpets need replaced. Hot tub need replaced. Musty odor when you walk in. Two out of seven TVs worked. Deck lights hanging from wires and some didn’t work. Several lights not working. Kid entertainment was not as advertised. Xbox not working and not complete. Pool table rack broken. Pool cues had no tips on them. Grill was disgusting and needs replaced. Owner was contacted and did nothing to fix the issues. Owner needs to take a month and really clean and fix the mentioned issues and it would be an awesome venue. Just seems that the owner just gets your money and does little upkeep. Disappointed!!

This is our family's 2nd time staying here. It's lovely. Far enough aways from the hustle and bustle of tourism yet close enough to enjoy everything around including Pigeon Forge. Gaitlinburg, Clingman's Peak, Dollywood, and so much more. The cabin is very comfortable and love that there is a bathroom in every bedroom. The hosts are wonderful and very responsive. I would say that some things need to be updated such as the carpeting on the 1st floor, Kitchen cooking utensils and we were very limited on dish towels. For as large as the cabin is, the seating in the living room is very limited. These are just suggestions and not to be viewed negatively. The cabin is beautiful, peaceful and the sort of place that will hold many, many memories. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin.

The cabin needs a deep cleaning and repairs
There was a pool table, but the rack and pool sticks were not usable, one of the tvs wouldn’t work, no can opener, bugs in the basement, dishwasher wouldn’t clean the dishes, hot tub was low on water, pots and pans need replacing, they were disgusting

Peaceful, with a few bear visits.

We had some amazing bear encounters which made the vacation quite memorable. There are fairly steep driveways, so be mindful of the vehicle that you drive to this location. Gary and Vicki were great hosts - very nice and quick to communicate. We had a very nice week.

Greeted by a Bear upon arrival. Bear seemed to be very familiar with people. It visited the property a total of four times during our stay that we are aware of. Very quiet and relaxing.

This lodge is the perfect place to stay for a large family gathering. We just spent the last week there and had the greatest time. The description is exactly as stated. The property is clean. The owner is easy to reach and communication was seamless.
The location is a great spot in the middle of everything. 20 to 30 min to every where and the views and drives to wherever you go are fantastic.
The game room is so fun and the cousins played there every night. There was even an XBox with tons of games. The hot tub was used every night as well. Morning coffee on the deck was a must as well as a cold beer after dinner. The pool was so nice and just a short drive away. The drive to the entrance to park is also not far. The kitchen is well stocked with all you could need. Extra blankets and towels were everywhere. We wanted for nothing.
Just some notes (and not negatives) for anyone to be aware of. The driveway is steep as mentioned. My son has a stick shift car and could not get down it for fear of not getting back up. The cabin is in a “dry” town so alcohol can not be purchased anywhere close by. Being from Wisconsin this was a shocker for us! Again, not negatives. Just things we weren’t prepared for.
We would not hesitate to stay at the Amazing Memories Lodge again and hope that we can someday! It is simply beautiful and everything you could hope for.

The location of this home is fantastic! Very central to attractions, tubing and hiking. The views from the home are amazing and we spent the evening on the porch watching the sunsets. Could not have been better for our family of 7 adults and 5 kids.

We had a great time! Everything we needed in the kitchen, was there. It was nice and clean. The downstairs was a constant gathering of the cousins and great times for all.

We were there to attend a wedding and this house was a great place to come back to in the evenings. We enjoyed the game room a lot. We also used the pool one day and had a great lunch there! We missed the “active bear area” sign at first and left a car door open while unloading. We came back out to find a bear stealing some groceries. Our bad!

My brothers and sisters had a great time, your cabin was a great place to have a alot of laughs. We really enjoy our visitor's on day 1 and on day 2 they were beautiful little bears. Thanks for letting us enjoy your place.

Great rental for large groups. Secluded while still being close to everything. We seen Bears on the property several times during our stay. My only recommendation for large groups would be to bring extra towels for hottub.

Other than having some plumbing issues the first day we were there and being without toilets for a whole day with a sick little one and a group of 14, we had a great time. Overall it was a pleasant week! Very relaxing!!

My bonus son is in the Army stationed in Georgia and I love the Tennessee mountains so what better way to get a few days with him as he doesn't get much leave time. The house was more than perfect size for 8 adults. It was exactly how it was described and the owners were very responsive. I couldn't have asked for anything more. Well maybe a little warmer weather but nothing the hot tub didn't fix.

This cabin was perfect for my family on our trip to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg! Enough space for all of us, and very clean. Communication with the host was seamless and they were very kind!

The bedroom and bathroom set-up was perfect for 15 of us the week of Thanksgiving. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. The kids really enjoyed the game room. Very conveniently located. The house could use a deep clean though. Very dusty and lots of cobwebs. The cleanliness did not diminish our great time. I would recommend bringing Clorox wipes, extra trash bags and toilet paper..

We stayed in this cabin in the days leading up to our wedding with our bridal party. There were some hiccups as when we arrived on property, it was not clean. Linens and towels were dirty and we had to do laundry. However we were able to use the detergent that was provided. We were eventually able to get ahold of the owner who apologized profusely and sent out a cleaning crew the next day. They were very nice when we were able to get ahold of them.
Overall, the cabin was cute but could use some deep cleaning. We noticed during our stay that there was quite the cobweb behind the antlers above the fireplace and cobwebs above the cabinets in the kitchen.
The property was nice because everyone had their own area and attached bathroom (most with their own jacuzzi). The kitchen was definitely very well stocked and we did not have to worry about utensils at all. The beds definitely are squeaky like noted previously but the views were gorgeous and it was fairly easy to get to. Besides the issue when we arrived, we definitely enjoyed our stay and there was plenty of room for everyone. I'd give 4.5 stars if I could.
