About this apartment rental
"Where the charms of a city rich in history are preserved and renewed daily.
Where the rhythm of life flows smoothly as growth is balanced with a vision for pedestrian friendly streets.
Where the Master Plan of a city proud of its past and focused on its future is shaping some of the finest commercial and residential opportunities in Southeast Florida."
This property is a mile from the beach, close to shops and restaurants. Delray is a fantastic location for leisure, as it offers a wide variety of activities:
The GreenMarket in the Park has become one of the most popular and charming aspects of "the season" in Delray Beach. Opening on Saturday October through May.
The GreenMarket is a Saturday morning destination as an open air marketplace offering off-the-vine produce and just picked citrus, fragrant baked goods, fresh cut flowers, blooming plants, and unique taste treats.
Of course, one of our main attractions is our beaches! Beach-goers have access to two miles of public beach-front for sunbathing, recreational events, swimming, and other activities.
A variety of recreational activities are offered at public parks including Miller Park where baseball diamonds, soccer fields, and other sports are offered. Pompey Park with a pool and Veteran's Park that overlooks the scenic Intracoastal Waterway. Bicycle rentals are near by.
A quaint downtown full of antique shops and art galleries, to a commendable offering of gourmet restaurants. Without a doubt, one of the best parts of Delray Beach, however, is probably the special events that they seem to be perpetually hosting. My favorite is the Jazz and Art on the Avenue series, which happens about five times a year during the season.
The Jazz and Art on the Avenue events are an amazing mix of interesting art, eclectic music, and the always charming sights and sounds of Delray Beach. There are countless bands that provide a perfect evening of live entertainment for music aficionados. In addition to the music, there is also a "gallery-stroll", art galleries open up for the duration of the event (6 pm to 10 pm) so that you can peruse their collections.

We lived the accommodations and the area!
Easy to get around!

This condo/apt is the end unit of three, in a one level complex located in a residential area. The property is well taken care of quiet, and easily walkable to Publix or restaurants on George Bush Blvd. During our stay the bridge on George Bush Blvd was stuck open and there was road construction. Though it appeared that the ocean was walkable, we could not tell.
The kitchen is small but has all the fighting tools needed including leftover containers.
It is conveniently located and only a short drive to Atlantic Ave and all the Delray action.
We enjoyed our stay and our neighbors. This is a recommended property.

Enjoy a little bit of paradise
Great place to get away from the cold and snow.
You can spend the entire day and evening outside. Freddie was a terrific host and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be back next year .
PS you could not find a better place to hide from covid!

Lush retreat!
This unit is very private with a large covered patio and very green outside area. We sat outside every night, eating late dinner under the stars. A perfect spot for us to ride out the "stay at home" order due to the Coronavirus. Modern bath and updated kitchen helped make for a pleasurable stay. Close to everything! We are bike riders and it was very easy to get to lots of places for riding. Would stay here again!

One month stay / February 2020
Property was just as described. Perfect for short or long term stay. Clean, comfortable and good location -- close to everything. Freddie is always accessible and keeps on top of everything. We had a problem with AC upon arrival. It was addressed immediately and repaired quickly. Would definetly come back to Freddie's Delray Beach property.

Great location
The property is close to the beach, shopping stores, bars, and restaurants. Cozy and comfortable place to stay for couple nights! I think you can rent it out for longer as well if anybody is interested. It's a unit of three. You share laundry machines and garden area with other guests if they are present. Highly recommend to those of you looking for a place to stay in Delray.

Delray Beach Apartment
The unit is very conveniently located near downtown Delray Beach. This is a one bedroom unit with living room, kitchen and small dining area. Outside is a lovely area to sit and enjoy the weather or eat in the fresh air. The owner is very helpful and responds immediately to any concerns.

Great winter getaway
We’ve been renting from Freddie for over 10 years. Her cottages are charming and clean. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with coconut palms and a Malay apple tree. Freddie and her family (who own the cottages) are most accommodating. A short walk to the beach and to downtown Delray. We’ve already booked for next January because we know her cottages are in demand. Don and Debbie Fries

Not bad.
The apartment can use a new mattress and new linens. (old blood stains on sheets). The BBQ was dirty as well as the oven. However, great location!

The location was fabulous
My husband and I stayed at this little tropical hideaway for a month while enjoying the beautiful beaches, great nightlife, and nearby family and friends. My favorite thing about the property was our private covered outdoor patio where we spent lots of time enjoying the evening. Overall, we highly recommend this place.

Sunny Florida Vacation Spot
The location of the unit is excellent with proximity to the beach and to the inviting town of DelRay Beach. The owner is very helpful and readily available with any problems that may arise. It's a lovely little apartment where my wife, myself, and our dog enjoyed spending a month.

A great vacation spot
The property is small but very well appointed. The location is perfect. We happily walked to the beach, to the grocery store, and to all the great restaurants on Atlantic Ave. I walked my dog through lovely back streets every day, stopping at tiny parks beside the waterway. The owner is friendly and helpful. We have already made plans to return next year for double the time.

Great!
Small, but perfect for my 4 month travel assignment for us and our dogs. Owners were very nice and attentive to any need (which wasn't much because everything went so well). Very close to everything, easily bike/walk to the beach. Stayed here 4 months! :)

Nice, but could use a few Improvements
While we were generally satisfied with this unit for our 1-week stay, and especially enjoyed the very comfortable lanai, we had a few issues with the apartment that will probably cause us to stay elsewhere they next time we visit the Delray Beach area. We found the apartment to be generally clean, comfortable and mostly well equipped, but we had issues with the WIFI connection (which the owner quickly corrected), AC, lack of a promised umbrella and blender and a too-soft bed. We expected the bed to be a queens size, which it was, but it was so soft that my wife and I had difficultly staying to one side and sleeping comfortably throughout the night. The AC seemed to work fine in the bedroom, but, because the AC unit was located in the bedroom closet, it was very noisy during the night. The warmer temperature in the living room & kitchen area might not have been a problem if there was a ceiling or other fan in that area. A fan on the otherwise wonderful lanai might be another good addition. Having access to a washer and dryer and the 2 flat-screen TVs were appreciated, plus the gardens were very nice. The unit was reasonably close to the downtown restaurants and attractions, but in a quiet residential area.

what a cozy little hideaway. beautiful grounds, very clean and quiet yet so close to everything. Great furnishings and I loved the tiling throughout as well as the modern bathroom décor. Owners are first class all the way if I needed anything.

Great Stay Near Downtown Delray and the Beach
I stayed at this quiet 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit as a temporary location for a new job while looking for a permanent home. The location is outstanding. I could not have found a better option considering cost and how close it is to Atlantic Avenue and the ocean. Freddie the owner is very nice and accommodating.

This unit was so much more than I expected from looking at the pictures... bright, clean, remodeled, AWESOME bathroom, private patio(that I used a lot for reading & family gatherings), each unit has it's own gas grill(which I used at least 4 times a week) & the beach is close enough that I could ride my bike there in about 10 min(without a lot of traffic to contend with). Federica & her family are wonderful... her sister brought flowers & wine on my 1st day there & her brother brought me more propane... a family that really cares about making your stay memorable!

Great location, nice accommodations.
My wife and I stayed a month, mid-January to mid-February. The 2-room apartment was surprisingly roomy and it had its own covered outdoor patio where we could relax and read. High-speed internet let us keep in touch, and the cable tv/dvr was great. The location was incredible, we walked both to downtown Delray and to the beach. The one drawback was that we didn't have a spare bedroom to invite friends to come visit. Next year we've booked the larger unit in the same 3-unit building. The landlord, Freddy, is super nice and makes sure you've got anything you need. The bathroom is large with a walk-in shower. It was a perfect (though too short) stay. We will be back!!!
