This is a beautiful custom home that comfortably accommodated our group of 4 children and 8 adults. The deck offers lots of seating with lake views and a good size BBQ for preparing large dinners. The kitchen provides everything needed to prepare and present meals for a large group. The furnishings are mountain themed and comfortable. The manager/owner is very responsive to questions and any problems that might arise. Highly recommend this house for location too.

Joe’s place is amazing! The location is perfect, a short walk to Meeks Bay and the south end of the West Shore Bike Path, and a short drive to many restaurants, markets, and shops. The view from the house was breathtaking and the house had everything we could want to feel completely comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked (we cooked most meals) and the beach chairs are a great addition! Joe was an excellent host exhibiting excellent communication and easy check in. We had 8 adults and 5 children and had more than enough room to spread out and have a comfortable stay. Book this place you won’t be disappointed!

As advertised. Great bonding time with family.

We had an excellent time at the cabin. We had 15 guests to celebrate our moms 70th birthday. The sunrises were incredible. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and for many members of the family the fancy kitchen they had cooked in.
The bear mats made some uncomfortable but we understood the safety. The lower level rooms did get warm especially where the bunk beds are so a fan would have been nice if the windows couldn’t be open.
There is plenty to do around the area and our hosts were helpful in pointing out great spots to go to that were not as crowded with tourists-Like hike the falls.
Thank you for opening your home to us! A perfect birthday for our mom!

The house was warm and cozy, and very family friendly. We had great communication with the host, Joe whenever I had a question. There was eight adults, and nine grandchildren— 10 and under. There was plenty of room for everyone with seven bedrooms available. The fireplace in the master was awesome and there was another fireplace on the first & second level family room. It snowed while we were there and the street turned into an awesome Snow hill. I would definitely recommend this home. 😊 Thank you Mr & Mrs. Joe Lynch

We had a wonderful summer stay at this lovely cabin. We had my whole family under one roof to celebrate my parents’ 50th anniversary, and we could not have been happier. Everything was great.

This property is beautifully decorated and was comfortable for our family vacation [4 grandparents, 3 adults, 4 children]. The kitchen had top quality cookware and appliances. Our gracious host Joe Lynch stayed in close touch with us to provide assistance, when needed. The location was conveniently close to Meeks Bay beach and Sugar Pine Point and a small grocery store/deli is in nearby Tahoma. We brought a small boat and Obexer's Boat Company had launch facilities in Homewood. We will be back next year!

We celebrated two birthdays and an anniversary of 52 years. We all had a wonderful time staying at the lakeview lodge. We went parasailing, out to dinner and shopping in South Lake, checked out several different beaches, hung out in Emarald bay, made a trip to Cabela's., etc. We also spent a good amount of time sitting on the back deck and looking at the beautiful view of the lake. We absolutely love this home and will be looking to rent again in the future. This home was well equipped with everything we needed. Just Bring food & drinks, spices, and clothes.

This was a great winter place for our large group. We had 4 families of 2 adults and 2 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone. Really enjoyed having a second living/play room on the second floor for the kids to gather and have their own space. Very nice how with a great view of the lake and close to Homewood Ski Resort. Joe was great in communicating with us and we had a great time.

We had a great time spending Christmas here. Loved that the location was close to Granlibakken, giving our family an opportunity to try skiing for the first time. The house was the perfect size and it had everything we needed. Love that it was decorated for the holidays. Would definitely recommend to any family looking to spend some time in the snow in Tahoe. Rented this lovely home for Thanksgiving weekend. Home is located in a quite and beautiful location in South Lake Tahoe. Cabin is extremely spacious, with a great layout for a large group. Extremely clean with all the amenities to make your trip comfortable and relaxing.

Joe's property is incredible. The location is super convenient (12 minutes to Emerald Bay, very close to the lake). The house is very spacious and well decorated, and the amenities are perfect (hot tub, fireplace, video streaming services, deck with lake views). On top of that, Joe is a kind and thoughtful host, one of the best I've ever worked with. He always answered my questions quickly and helped me out in a big way twice when travel and logistics issues cropped up. I can't recommend Joe and his property enough! At the end of the trip, my guests all said they wish they could stay longer and/or come back. If you're on the fence, don't hesitate to stay here!

Warm and inviting and so much room to spread out! Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. Our group had a wonderful time. We were there in late July so spent every possible moment on the deck with views of the lake, including eating every meal out there. Location is great with close proximity to Meeks Bay beach.

This home is PERFECT for larger groups. We were 5 couples and each had a teen child. The location of the home is 20 minutes from Tahoe City and 30 minutes from state line. This required a lot of driving for the activities we did. Kitchen is well equipped. We visited on a hotter than normal weekend so it was hot in the house, as there’s no AC.

Lakeview lodge was absolutely perfect for our extended family gathering. Our group consisted of grandparents, 3 sets of parents and 11 cousins ages 1-18. The layout of the house is perfect for multiple families traveling together. Everyone had plenty of space. For the younger kids there are plenty of games and entertainment options. The pool table and hot tub were a big hit with the teenagers and the adults enjoyed the beautiful view from the two porches. We cooked every meal and the kitchen was well appointed for serving a large crowd. The men got our limit of lake trout with Chucks fishing charters in Tahoe city and everyone enjoyed hiking the beautiful short but strenuous eagle lake trail in emerald bay. Joe was available and more than helpful with any questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Our group of ten had a wonderful stay to celebrate a 40th birthday! Loved the glass panel porches for best visibility of the gorgeous surroundings. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms throughout the home and everything was very clean. We noticed it was lacking a few essentials like Kleenex in the bathrooms and basic cooking items, like salt/pepper/oil…just FYI. Joe was very prompt in communicating. We had a great time and would stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! There is plenty of sleeping and hanging out space for the 3 generations of family who stayed with us. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to prepare meals for all staying in the house, including large enough skillets and pots, and even storage containers for the leftovers. The 5 burner gas stove is a chef's dream! The house was spotless when we arrived. We also enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake and the quietness of the location with close proximity to everything we wanted to do on the west side of the lake. The owner was extremely responsive and even sent tips via text during our stay to make sure we were comfortable and understood the workings of the home. I would definitely stay at this home again.
