Great house with everything you need to relax and enjoy Estes Park. Close to town fully stocked and very comfy house. Great views of the mountains and lots of birds and other wildlife around the house. Very close to town with private parking and a nice set up in the backyard. We loved this place and hope to make it back soon!

This place was perfect for our family of 5. We liked how it had everything we needed and was close to the Bear Meadows RMNP entrance and downtown.

The house was perfect for our family and friends. Kitchen has everything you need, but a few good restaurants are right around the corner of you don't want to cook. Easy drive to downtown, hikes, and park entrances. Thanks for a great stay.

This property is located 5 minutes from the entrance to RMNP, and just blocks away from a great swimming hole. The house was in great shape and Susan was so responsive. A grocery store is less than a mile away, as are plenty of dining options. We would definitely stay here again.

The Wild Turkey Resort was a very convenient place to stay when visiting Rocky Mountain National Park. After a day of hiking in the park it was a comfortable place to come home to with lots of elk, birds, and a turkey or two in the yard. Would definitely stay there again.

I was able to book this cabin on Monday for our stay beginning on Thursday. Everything was spotless and ready for us to check in. I was slightly disappointed to see that the "fireplace" shown on the listing was actually a wood stove insert (we really enjoy the ambiance of a real fireplace), but Susan, the owner, promised the insert would provide plenty of heat, and she was 100% correct. The hot tub was an added bonus for us, and has a very private feel. The cabin is in a neighborhood, but the lots are large and there is plenty of outdoor space. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying there again. We did see the owner's car all 3 nights, but as promised, we never saw her, although we would've been happy to meet her. I'd like to add that the access code will have you humming a song from the '60s that only us baby boomers would recognize!

The cabin is nice and the best appointed VRBO that I have ever stayed at. The kitchen is extremely well stocked -- the host has paid attention to the details that make a visit so enjoyable. The location is a bit off the beaten path, away from the touristy crowds but still provides great access to restaurants and outdoor activities. We will book this one again!

Everyone enjoyed their stay at the property. The house was clean, spacious and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies. Each bedroom had plenty of room and all the beds were comfy. The hot tube was a big plus! The location of the property was great. Easy to downtown and to Rocky Mountain. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful mountain home.

Everything was exactly as advertised and was surprised at the attention to and quality of furniture, electronics, fridge etc. areas where rental properties generally cut corners. The host Susan was extremely helpful and responsive with us through the entire process. Will try to stay again if ever need a place near Estes.

Cozy place, hot tub was fabulous in the winter. Not a secluded place but close to the park and town and quiet. Cute market just down the street if you need anything. Place was festively decorated and perfect for our stay. Thanks!

We really enjoyed our time at this property in Estes. It’s only a few minutes from town, really close to RMNP, and tucked away in a small neighborhood with the feel of privacy. We enjoyed the hot tub every night as well. Thanks for a great stay and I’d highly recommend it!

Wonderful home only minutes from entrance to RMNP. We were greeted our first morning by a massive herd of elk walking through the front yard. We also had daily visits from multiple birds, deer, bunnies, chipmunks and wild turkeys. The hot tub was very welcome after a day of hiking and the cabin had everything needed for cooking inside or out with the grill. If going out to eat, try The Rock Inn- great food, service and live music. Highly recommend this cabin. Would stay again.

Very lovely, clean home which was close to so many of the trails we hiked. We loved the location and coming back to a warm cozy home. My kids and grandkids even enjoyed the hot tub after some of our more strenuous hikes. My family loved watching the mule deer and calves in the backyard, and my daughter and I were fortunate enough to see a bear out the window just about 10 yards from the house. Great place to stay!

Susan’s cabin is lovely and so convenient to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. We enjoyed all the amenities like the gas fire pit and fully stocked kitchen which made it easy to cook a big breakfast before heading out on hikes! The cabin itself is cozy and welcoming. We didn’t see any wildlife but may have heard an elk in the early morning hours before the sunrise. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Base in Estes Park and RMNP
Thank you for a wonderful stay. The house is beautifully and thoughtfully set up with many useful little touches. Plenty of space for our family of 5 with great storage space in all the bedrooms. The beds were all very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The outside was perfect with bags, a swing, hot tub, plenty of seating, and some deer visitors! The house is right outside one of the entrances to RMNP and close to the east side hikes as well. Some favorite hikes were those to the Calypso Cascades and to Emerald Lake from Bear Lake. The grocery store on the corner is very convenient. There are some food and activity options within walking distance and a short drive to the ‘downtown’ area of Estes Park.

I wish this is where I lived
What a beautiful property. A beautiful home, with such a nice homey feel to it. We visit Estes Park every year on my birthday, and this is the best stay we’ve ever had. There was room for the kids to move about and not feel like they were on top of us, but there was also plenty of space together as a family as well. For the first time in any of our trips, no one was ready to leave. Susan was phenomenal as a host, I deeply appreciated her kindness and willingness to help with anything that popped up. She has a lovely home, very well-kept. I would love to come back in the winter time to see the turkeys!
