About this house rental
This house has all you could want for vacation fun! Located in the quaint and quiet Crown Point area of San Diego overlooking Sail Bay, you’ll never want to leave. Your luxury vacation begins the minute you walk in the door, not only do you get a gorgeous beachfront home to relax in...but check out just a few of the items it comes equipped with!
First, the toys! We have 8 bikes of all different sizes, adult bikes and children's bikes. We also provide a carriage attachment for the kids who aren’t quite big enough to ride by themselves yet. There are 2 kayaks, 3 paddle-boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels and a ton of different sand toys that will keep the kids busy on the beach for hours. The ping-pong table can be set up outside and the foosball table keeps you busy inside.
The custom 1,000 sq ft beachfront yard and patio is an impressive entertaining space and has direct beach access! The views of the sand, boardwalk, and Sail Bay from the patio are amazing. Enjoy dinner or games on the big patio table or just relax on the lounge chairs to soak up some sun. We also have a propane fire pit so you can carry on outside even after the sun goes down. It is spacious with vaulted ceilings and large bay view windows. The kitchen is fully stocked for meal preparation, dining and entertaining. The dining room opens up onto the balcony, making sunset dinners a real treat! The upper level has a 40ft balcony, living room, 2 of the bedrooms, the kitchen and dining area!
The open design offers 2 separate floors of spacious family rooms with large comfortable sofas, big screen televisions and modern decor. There is a wet bar with a microwave, small fridge and fireplace in the large downstairs family room which opens to the private enclosed front yard leading to the bay-front. Anyone up for a round of foosball?! Well the family room has it! So come and play! The 4 bedrooms are fully furnished with modern decor and spacious custom closets in each room. The 3 bathrooms are vintage in style with modern fixtures and ample counter space and cabinets.
Level 1 (main): kitchen, dining room, living room, master suite (king) with ensuite bath, guest bedroom (king), guest bath.
Lower Level: den/game room, guest bedroom (king and twin), guest bedroom (two twin), guest bathroom, outdoor patio area with spa, bay beach access.
Guests will have access to the entire house and it's available amenities.
The Neighborhood:
This part of Sail bay is known for its breathtaking views and sunsets and the 14-mile boardwalk that circles the bay is perfect for exercise enthusiasts! Or just go for a leisurely bike ride or walk. Rather get in the water? Then take out the Kayaks and paddle boards! Is that too much exercise? Then just put your feet in the sand, set out your beach chairs and umbrella and take in the warm peaceful beauty of the bay!

Home owners across San Diego are banning together to eliminate the rentals of private homes as vacation homes. Please help us preserve our right to rent by being respectful neighbors.
NOISE/NO PARTIES: Quiet hours are strictly enforced, 10 pm – 8 am per city ordinance. This property has ZERO TOLERANCE for noise, parties or loud music which includes any excessive daytime noise, cursing, yelling or screaming. Fines will be applied for complaints. Drinking games of any kind ie: beer die, pong, funnels etc. and music that is audible past the property line are strictly prohibited. Immediate eviction can result if these rules are broken.
San Diego Municipal Code 59.5.0502 states that at all times; any amplified sound that can be heard 50 feet away from the rented residence is prohibited. Between 10 PM and 8 AM, even normal conversation must be moved inside the rented residence. Per SDMC 51.1004 and California Penal Code 415.2 noise violations can result in fines (Up to $1,000) for property owners and Renters if there are repeated calls for noise violations to one address. Renters will be liable for any and ALL noise violation fines charged to the property owner. Excessive Noise disruptions can result in immediate eviction without the right to a refund of rental fees or security deposits.
Drugs/ Alcohol: Use of illegal/illicit drugs by any Renter, Guest, Occupant or Visitor in or on the grounds is strictly prohibited. Consumption of alcoholic beverages by a minor under 21 years of age is strictly prohibited.
No Smoking of ANY kind: This is a non-smoking property, both in and on the property. A fee of $1,000.00 will be charged for violation of this rule, plus any costs incurred to remove smoke odor or damage. Smoking includes but is not limited to: cigarette, cigar, marajuana, cocaine, incense, or vaping. While Marajuana is legal in the state of California it is NOT allowed on this property.
Properties are subject to exterior patrol by our staff and homeowner. If Renters are causing a nuisance, having a party, acting detrimentally toward the property, breaking the noise curfew or any stated rules and regulations we reserve the right to terminate the rental agreement, without refund, and immediately remove Renters and guests from the property. Absolutely no disturbances are allowed within this home or anywhere on the property premises. We also reserve the right to refuse occupancy if a house party is suspected.
Our neighbors are very, very sensitive to vacation rentals as it affects their right to live in a peaceful environment therefore we will enforce these policies in exchange for the privilege of renting this home as a vacation rental. The City of San Diego has adopted stricter guidelines for vacation properties and bad operators will not be allowed to rent their homes. If the actions of the Renter and their guests are detrimental to our right to rent as a vacation rental we reserve the right to evict and retain any rental fees and/or security deposits and will report abuse to the rental platforms and will take legal action against Renter if their behavior results in loss of permits.
Guest Occupancy:
Occupancy: The maximum occupancy for this Rental Agreement shall not exceed the number stated on the reservation. Only primary Renter and guests accounted for on the reservation are allowed to be on the property.
Age Restrictions: Primary Renter must be 25 years or older. Guests must be 25 years or older. Parents and children excluded.
No Subletting: If Renter can not keep the reservation please alert us as soon as possible so we can assist in re-renting the unit. If the unit is not re-rented and at the rate of the current reservation Renter will not be refunded their rental fees.
Damages: Renter will leave property in good order.
Damage Fee does not cover excessive cleaning; including but not limited to overflowing trash, carpet or upholstery steam cleaning, Linen Damage (Sheets, Blankets and Comforters damaged from, but not limited to, tearing, food, blood or other bodily fluids and will incur full replacement value charges) or damage due to pets, parties or excessive guests in the unit.
If excessive cleaning is needed, Renter will be charged $100/hour, or actual charges, whichever is greater.If area carpets are excessively dirty after check out Renter will be charged a $300 fee for carpet cleaning or full replacement value PLUS any loss in rental income at $500/night.
NO DAILY MAID SERVICE: Daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. The cleaning fee referenced above shall be applied to the cleaning service after check out. If daily maid service is desired it can be arranged for an additional daily fee.
Missing or damaged items will be charged at full replacement cost.
Kitchen: Cooking at high temperatures can result in strong smells that permeates throughout the home and into the fabrics of the home. Excessive odors can come from, but not limited to, popcorn, fish, certain spices etc. Please open windows, use kitchen fans, and be mindful that this is a shared living space. Should a strong odor be detected upon check out, an air purifying fee will be applied.
Check in / Check out:
Per the contract check in time is 4:00 PM and check out is at 10:00 AM. Check in and check out times are strictly enforced, please do not enter the property early without permission. Disruption to the contracted cleaning company’s allotted service time will incur a fee.
If available, early check-in/late check-out fee is $250.
Upon Vacating, Renters and guests will follow the provided Check-out Procedure.

Loved watching the sunsets every evening as most night it was clear and stunning. Loved drinking coffee in the morning looking out over the people enjoying the bay.The house was very well equipped form kitchen, to linens, to toys.

This was the perfect place for our family to gather for three days. Part of the family arrived from the Dallas area. The property was easy to get to from the airport. We had ages 2-72. Every one had a great time. We enjoyed all the toys and access to the beach. Loved the evening sunsets fire pit and jacuzzi. Already talking about doing it again next year. It was just as advertised.

This unit was perfect for my family of 4 and another family of 3. The unit was clean and comfortable with all the amenities you could ever need. From the beach toys in the closet, games, extra towels and dishes and the perfection of being right on the beach was better than we imagined. sitting on the porch with our coffee while the kids played on the sand and people watching on the boardwalk took over our mornings. The owners responded quickly to any issues that arised and were professional and courteous to help us figure it out as fast as they could. I would recommend a stay here for families with or without kids, I’m sure you’ll be as happy as we were!

Love the beach location and all the space for our family of 8 + a toddler! Loved the big tables inside and out for family meals and card games. The amenities were fantastic—-kayaks, paddle boards, sand toys, hot tub, fire pit, ping pong table we used them all—-6 of us took the house bikes to Belmont Park!! Oh yes and we used the grill 1 night, it was spotless! Beautiful views and sunsets, not the amount of foot traffic that you get on the west side of Mission Beach! Couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more!

The property and location were perfect for our family! We enjoyed a few local restaurants but most of the time we didn’t leave the property except for walks and bike rides around the bay. The property management company was one of the best we have ever experienced…super responsive and thorough. The house had a kitchen with plenty of dishes and platters for a full house of guests. We would highly recommend this property if you are looking for a home on the bay that has plenty to do and space to spread out without leaving the area!

Property was a perfect fit for our large family getting together to celebrate a family milestone. The children especially enjoyed their "beach house" considering the availability of the water toys and the bike rides around the bay and playing in the sand. The paved path was busy during the day with walkers, joggers and bikers but quiet at night allowing the adults to relax and enjoy the view across the bay. The hot tub was a welcome amenity for all. The only surprise we encountered was the owner's request to remove shoes inside the residence to protect the hardwood flooring so bring your house slippers.

We recently spent 21 days at this awesome house. There are so many great things about this house. I think other reviewers have mentioned how it is right on the bay, so the location is perfect. You can step onto the beach from the back patio. If using a bicycle there is access just about 2 houses away to just ride down to the beach. The downstairs closet has all the beach toys you need, and the upstairs garage has bicycles with helmets and even a ping pong table you can pull out. In addition to the location and all the toys, there is a lot to like about the house itself.
We have an older dog and the front fenced yard was excellent - it was great to give him a little space to smell and watch the people walk by. It is also beautifully landscaped with succulents and a lemon and mandarin tree. The kitchen is well stocked - we cooked soup and steaks and even did a little baking and it had everything we needed. The beds are comfortable and the showers are good. While we were there it felt like our 2nd home and we found the house very comfortable. The downstairs couch is super comfy. We also enjoyed the fuzzball table downstairs. We liked that you can go downstairs either inside or outside -we found the outside stairs easy to use, especially when we needed to carry our dog (he is pretty old). We spend a few weeks in San Diego every year and this house has been our favorite. Oh - most importantly - the AC and heat actually work. (We’ve rented a few places where they say they have AC /heat, but it doesn’t work effectively.) I didn't even mention the outdoor gas firepit and the hot tub - we only used the fire pit - but just know it is a great place to be - just being at the house and on the beach made our time exactly what we wanted. Thank you to the owners to sharing your home with us!

The kitchen is galley style so isn't great for group cooking, but everything you need is there! We had 3 young children in our group and brought our own toys, potties, booster seat and eating utensils, but a booster and several pack n plays are onsite. Highlights are the bikes and bike trailers, ample beach toys and perfect location. Hosts were very responsive to all our questions and needs, it was a great trip!

The location was fantastic, & the unit was as advertised. We worked very hard to follow all the owners rules for pets so other people could bring their pets there. Mission beach is such a great beach to be able to bring dogs too.

The house was amazing with everything you need for a fun beachside vacation. The kitchen was very well stocked with tons of plates and utensils. They really though of everything here. We had an amazing family thanksgiving here!
I only have one issue: part of the check out process is to wash and dry all the towels. After paying a huge cleaning fee I don’t think it’s fair to ask us to do laundry for them. Also, with a 10am checkout it’s not feasible to wash and dry all the towels unless everyone showers at 7am the morning of check out.
Either way would definitely recommend this spot but hope they take that requirement out of the check out process.

This property was perfect for our family. The bay was calm and the children ( 5 and 6 yo) could take the paddleboards out themselves close to shore. We rode to the beach on the boardwalk, on the bikes and used the provided boogie boards. When we did have to call the hosts with questions, they always answered immediately and were so helpful. Was very fun watching the sailboats and water activities in the bay as well.

My closest girlfriends and I stayed at this home to celebrate my upcoming wedding. We are all in our 40's and wanted to experience a lot of what San Diego is which primarily included beach time and water activities. This home 100% provided that. On the first full day of our stay, after playing on the paddle boards, kayaks, boogie boards and laying out on the patio and sand, we walked and then scootered to Pacific Beach. The next day, we again relaxed at the house and got ready to uber into downtown for the nightlife which was so fun. It was so nice to be in walking and short uber ride distances to everything we wanted to see. There was plenty of comfortable sleeping space, blankets and towels. The kitchen was pretty well stocked so that we could just bring our own food and make meals at the house. We loved watching all the people walking along the bay and the sailboats and all the things. We wished we stayed for one more night so that we could just have a whole day and night to stay at the house! It was so good and I know a number of women in our group will be back with their families.

We had a great time was more than spacious for our 3 families. 6 adults and 5 kids. They had everything we need including everything the kids needed to play in the Sand, boogie board and paddle board. On the quieter side of the bay which was great. Would definitely stay again.

Excursions included!!!! My family loved being able to play with the included: kayaks, paddle boards, shuffle board, ping pong and more…not including the beach as your backyard. We all enjoyed our stay, thank you for hosting.

We've stayed at numerous properties and this one was by far the best experience we've had.
The balance of privacy with the receded home and the glass balcony with glass fence added to the beach experience, also if you needed being part of all the beach action.
The variety of toys from kayaks, paddleboards, table tennis and foosball made for fun 24/7.
The cleanliness of home and thoughtful mood setting on arrival was a special, yet a professional touch.
The balance of location or stretch of beach the home is situated on was also perfect. Peaceful, yet upbeat and interesting.
The kitchen boasts a Keurig coffee maker and is amply stocked with all the necessary utensils, cutlery and crockery you might need if the array of restaurants in the vicinity might have you decide to cook in.
West facing balcony made for cool breezy spectacular sunsets just awaiting you to snap away at. Other evenings were filled with a relaxing jacuzzi massage and the warmth of the outdoor fireplace to huddle up to.
Both neighbors were non existent or extremely quiet.
Matching this beautiful balance the management company, especially Ms. Cindy Velasquez stayed at bay, yet once needed were fast, polite and efficient.
Our vacation was a memorable one and we will need to book our next dates soon, as a properties this scenic and packed with all the right stuff will become popular soon.

We really wanted a few days of relax time as a family before school started again and some of our kids headed back to college. This was a great place to do that! It's on the water and supplies good condition paddle boards, boogie boards, beach chairs, kayak and life jackets. It's close to a nice beach on the ocean. There's plenty of space to spread out. We had a nice time!

Amazing place to enjoy the bay!
Location is ideal for families with young kids. Amazing bay views with direct access for kids to play in the sand in front of the spacious, waterfront terrace (nicely furnished for lounging, dining, and games). Cindy was super welcoming and helpful as we settled in. House is well stocked with all the extras you could want for enjoying the terrace, the bay, and the boardwalk. We particularly enjoyed watching sunsets over the bay from the terrace hot tub, which feels like an infinity plunge pool!

We had a little hiccup the first day with a broken dishwasher, but management was prompt to have it fixed. I don’t know if it’s just this time of year, but go out on the water early because the afternoon gets pretty windy.
