What a house! This was one of the best weeks that we have had as a family! We had so much space, well appointed with furniture, beds, plenty of towels and a full kitchen! The large table and extra chairs is perfect for an oversized family. The ski in and out access through Natawista was the easiest we have had an any home. A dedicated ski mudroom was the best. The management company responded quickly to emails and the book describing literally all of the details for the home (the movie rooom, hot tub, ski in/out left nothing uncovered! We did find the cleaning to be sub par (lots of food under the chairs, piles of dust behind the nightstands, things from previous people under two of the beds). Emails were send and responded to, but no one came out (And it was never even offered) to actually clean and make it right. Manager assured us that the cleaning service would be spoken to which was great. It would not at all be a reason not to stay, just was surprising service-wise for the price! Would (and will!) stay again in a heartbeat! Gina

Stunning views from the living room, amazing ski on/off access, the boot dryer and gear room were a huge plus, hot tub on the deck with the view was epic, and the house layout/interior was very comfortable. Having a nice fireplace, comfortable couches and seating, and a huge dining room table was perfect for bringing everyone together before and after a day on the slopes. The photos on the walls were also cool! Lots of autographed Warren Miller posters and athlete’s 8X10’s. The snowcat came right up to our house a few times and groomed a path off our deck to Natawista. Drinking a beer and watching a 10-ton machine groom a path just for you and your friends to ski on makes you feel like a boss. Overall, staying in the house was a great experience. My only real issue with the house was the tiny kitchen and the lack of basic kitchen equipment - also the dishwasher was broken, and that was a bummer. It is awesome if you don't need to do much cooking! Pluses: • Amazing trail access! Truly a “ski on, ski off” experience. The trail Natawista was literally in our backyard! • House three had an AMAZING view from the main living room area. • House three came with a huge boot dryer that could accommodate 10 pairs of ski boots. A super helpful piece of equipment to have. • Loved the hot tub on the deck. • The bathrooms were luxurious and spa-like with big, elegant showers. • I appreciated having access to a washer and dryer to wash our smelly ski clothing.

One of the most convenient ski-in/ski-out homes. Only a few steps from the home to Natavista which leads directly to 6-shooter. Also very easy to find from Natavista. The house was comfortable and clean, but the appointments were not top notch. The lighting throughout was not great, the cookware was mediocre at best, the TV was only of average size and not perfectly positioned for viewing among a large group. Still, overall a comfortable stay.

This is the first family trip we've taken to Big Sky. We had skiers/boarders ranging from beginner to expert. The terrain was fantastic and we lucked out with great weather conditions. The house was as described - literally the slopes were steps from the back deck. Everyone was able to ski/in out with no difficulty despite varying skill level. Hot tub was perfect for post-ski day. Boot dryers were awesome. The kitchen was well stocked with tools etc. We cooked in every night and played board games. The management company/owners were helpful, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. We loved the house and cannot recommend more highly.

Loved the property - great location and amenities. Kids appreciated the screening room. The welcome basket was a thoughtful and kind gesture. Suggestion is to install proper blinds in bedrooms to provide adequate privacy and shade from morning light.

This property was everything I was hoping for and more. Russell Mace properties staff were extremely responsive, answering any questions I had before the stay very quickly and they were very accommodating. The house itself was phenomenal for our group. I know this is listed but I had forgotten that there were private bathrooms for each bedroom and an additional full bath! Our large group of adults appreciated this convenience. The house was spotless and ready on time. The house was also stocked with cooking items (spices, oil, plastic bags, laundry detergent, toilet paper, etc). They may not always have this but it was nice that their cleaning team keeps some of these things available. The beds were firm but comfortable. We had a large group but there was plenty of space to spread out. There was an issue with the fireplace but this was acknowledged by the property manager and is something that will be repaired soon. We used the hot tub regularly and it also had one small problem that was fixed within a few hours. The media room was so fun! I didn’t realize how much we would use it but it was a great space to watch movies and play video games nightly. Our kids stayed in the loft and slept great while we watched loud movies in the media room and this didn’t wake them up. The view and location were spectacular. They aren’t kidding when they say 4 wheel drive is required. We rented a suburban with explore rentals which was extremely easy and worked perfectly. The trail to ski back to the house is easy to find and beautiful (Natawista, two bridges and it’s off to the right). The mountain itself is phenomenal. We did a few private lessons with our 5 and 7 year old and they went from timid to tiny experts! It made the end of our trip so wonderful to be able to take six shooter lift up and the long greens down with them. Our private instructor was Mitch Orloff so you might ask for him if you’re looking for lessons. He even met us at the house one time to ski the kids down to the lift. We did a trip to Yellowstone with snow mobiles - it was awesome but I would prepare you that the kids had fun but it was also really challenging to dress them and they got sleepy on the actual ride and that was stressful since they aren’t strapped in. We saw bison and geysers and it was gorgeous though. All around it was everything I was hoping for and more! Thank you Russell Mace properties for a spectacular experience!
