Place was just right for us. Close to attractions. Would stay again. Thank you

The stay was great. There is a lot to do locally, and it made our trip to Acadia easy. It was very clean and a great size for a couple.

This trip was all about relaxation after two years without a vacation. The place felt like home away from home—cozy, warm, and comfortable, with restful nights. My dog loved it right away, and I felt truly welcomed.

Made our stay in Maine very comfortable and convenient for being first time visitors in the state. Had everything we needed.

This cute apartment right on the main coastal highway is in a great location (6 miles from Belfast, ~20 miles from Camden, etc) for exploring all Maine has to offer. The size is perfect for one or two people to be very comfortable in a "home away from home." For longer stays (I stayed 2 weeks), there is a laundromat about 5 miles away that is large, clean and very efficient.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was private, clean and perfectly located. We had everything we needed including some surprise eggs from the chickens who roam around the property. Rick and Sabrina were excellent hosts. Thank you again for a wonderful time.

the apartment was quaint, but it could have been cleaner. Lots of dead insects and debris. The bed was a full, not a queen and left a lot to be desired. There was dog debris in the entranceway that was unpleasant. Perhaps it was too early in the season for an equipped apartment.

My wife and I had an amazing time staying here while exploring different parts of maine.

This place is the perfect spot to be centrally located to everything we wanted to do/see. Loved staying here. It had everything and more that we needed. Each day we ventured out with our pups to explore the areas and came back to a place of complete rest and relaxation. We even enjoyed sitting in the lawn chairs and watching the traffic go by. Yes! Go get some lobster from a local place up the road and make your own lobster rolls and even breakfast. Yummmmmm. Can't wait till we are able to stay again. Thank you so much for your beautiful and comfortable place to stay.

A nice place, with a comfortable bed. Lots of stairs but we had no problem with them. Do wish there had been some sugar.coffee for the 1st day or two. Nice kitchen. It doe get very dark and finding the driveway was tough, solar lights or reflective signs could be very helpful. Nice location, pleasant stay.

Was a decent place - the refrigerator wasn’t on when we got there and didn’t realize it until the morning and we had done a lot of shopping. Kitchen wasn’t very well stocked compared to other places we stayed. There was no book recommending restaurants or other things to do in the area. Encountered a few roaches. Still would recommend.

We enjoyed our stay in this small but very functional apartment. There are quite a few stairs inorder to enter which was no problem for us however, someone with mobility issues should avoid. Great location on Route 1 along the midcoast. Nice trails across the road for our dog which go to the ocean. Thank you!! Would stay again.

I was happy to find a place in close proximity to my daughter, whom i hadn't seen in about 2 years. It was a wonderful event and felt renewed after it. Thanks to the Liston's wonderful little place. Thank you. I'd be happy to do it again!

This was a great little apartment for my fall leaf peeping trip. It was about an hour to Acadia and 2 hours to Rangeley. Comfy bed and functional kitchen were just what I needed.

Attic perfect size for 1 or 2 persons. Equipped perfectly. I am older so probably won't stay in attic again, hard on knees especially when carrying things. One thing to suggest is possibly having screen door so you can let in more sunshine, fresh air and to see more of outside from apt. Just me!

property was cental in location, air conditioner was not properly cooling and no instructional book on use of ac or use of tv. Could have used a notebook from the owner explaining the operation of these things.

We love this cozy place. It’s close to Moose State Park, where we enjoyed the privacy and beauty of Maine. We love that it’s midway between Bar Harbor and Portland, thereby allowing us to travel to both north and south of Maine without too much distance. The place is pet-friendly and we love how responsive Mike and Brenda (our hosts) are. Will definitely recommend this place!

Generally a nice stay.
The mattress is in desperate need of replacement. We contacted the owner who said he would replace the mattress in the near future.

We normally take the 10 Person Pl. on the property however we had a few more guests. Having the two places right next to each other made everything extremely convenient. It was quite charming and everyone had a good time

We had a great time here. Great location between a lot of places to see in coastal Maine. Everything you need in the unit. Easy check in process. Would stay again!

We enjoyed staying at this place! So quaint, but there was a lamp stand and lamp that had not been dusted in forever. The couch had buttons and each was full of dust and crumbs. There was only one partial roll of toilet paper in the bathroom and no replacements, so we had to buy some. There was no soap in the bathtub, etc. it would be good to take care of those things.

Perfect for most couples in every way, except maybe for the outdoor staircase one takes up to apartment. Most older people, like us, may find it just a bit annoying. But really it's not a big provblem. Also, the owners couldn't be more kind and accommodating.

Our overall stay was enjoyable. The property is centrally located and allowed us to make day trips to Acadia & Portland. The property manager even gave suggestions for activities/ restaurants nearby. Mike was also very communicative, especially when we needed him. The space was large enough for my husband and I and was well stocked with towels, toiletries, and kitchenware. There is only an AC unit in the living room area which led to our bedroom being quite warm, but I’m sure it is just fine in the colder months. There are other people staying on the property, and sometimes you can hear them through the walls, but for the most part it was quiet and enjoyable. I’d love to visit again!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Liston property. It was big enough to actually "move in" for a month, while working remotely. The best part was the property and access to lovely parks and beaches to walk my pup. The owners were onsite during my stay but very respectful and attentive to my needs.

This was a lovely little apartment with easy access to Route 1. Very clean, and great water pressure. Some road noise from route 1, but we are city dwellers so no bother to us! Apartment is out of town, but a stone’s throw from Moose Point which turned out to be a lovely place to watch the sunset!

Our VRBO was very convenient to Acadia National park, state parks, antique malls, unique book store, Marine museum, Belfast, and local grocery store and laundry room next to grocery store. Apartment was easily accessible from the highway and very clean. We enjoyed our stay.

The property was just as listed. No surprises. The location was perfect for me. The communication with the property owners was excellent. Would recommend this property

Brenda and Michael's place was super cute and just what we needed for our vacay/mini-moon. We usually stay in hotels, but wanted to try something different especially since we were traveling with our dog. Towels were plentiful and the bathroom was huge. Bed was not as comfortable as we would have liked but would not deter us from staying there again. Plenty of storage space in the bedroom too. We are considering staying there again next year since we love Maine!

We enjoyed our stay at the Farm House apartment. Great communications with the owners.

My husband and I stayed for about 2 weeks. The hosts were super helpful and were available whenever we had a question. The location afforded us daily jaunts to hiking, biking, and kayaking. We especially liked the proximity of Sandy Beach for our evening swim. Entry has an outside stairway that's may be tough for those who are not steady on their feet. But it suited us well.

This rental is just what I needed to for my trip to Maine to visit family at a distance due to COVID. The accommodations were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and the price was reasonable, actually less than a couple of nearby local hotels. It was nice to retreat to this space at the end of day.

My partner and I spent a week exploring the coast with frequent trips up to Acadia. This location (about an hour away from Acadia National Park) was a nice jumping off point and we enjoyed exploring Belfast, Searsport, and the surrounding area. The space was larger than the pictures show with a large bathroom and well-stocked kitchen. Brenda was very responsive when we had an issue with check-in and with some noise from the neighbors downstairs. Everything was quickly resolved and we really enjoyed our stay. The price was also great for the location and amenities!

The apartment was clean. The windows definitely need curtains. At least a sheer curtain. Very creepy knowing that other people are staying on the property and could be outside, look up and see you. Not very private. I wish there would have been a extra blanket for the couch. The hot water did not stay hot for long. With 2 people showering, the hot water always ran out for the second person and neither of us took long showers. None of the cupboards have knobs or handles so its a pain to open any of them. All the knives were incredibly dull. There should be normal sized coffee cups included. The tiny tea cups are not sufficient. The kitchen table sat uneven so it rocked as we would try to eat. Its nice that they include a roku for people who use those services. I don't and did not realize that until after I booked the place. I tried to find channels that I didn't have to subscribe to like redbox but you are not allowed to add any channels that the owners didn't choose for you. You have to pay extra for damage protection. We definitely did not damage anything. I stayed other places and never had to pay that. That money should be refunded if there are no damages. The stairs are pretty steep and narrow, we caught our toes on them a few times going up, very painful.

The owner was super nice and easy to talk to and work with. The place was very comfortable and quiet. It was exactly what we were looking for.
