This house was absolutely perfect for a getaway for nine friends, with three of us having birthdays! It’s laid out perfectly for a group with lots of space to all be together, or have games happening in different locations. The view is spectacular, the neighborhood very quiet, there were many amazing herons, eagles and osprey to be watched and we had a blast. Thank you so much!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this amazing house on the water in Clinton. The house is lovely, very well appointed with comfortable beds, a kitchen stocked with everything we needed for cooking and preparing cocktails! The views are truly lovely. We are planning to return!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay. The kids enjoyed the garage game room and our daughters enjoyed the hot tub. The house is easily accessible, clean and very comfortable. The beds are like new and the European style comforters are a great touch, especially on rainy windy nights such as we had this weekend. There is a huge selection of games to keep the whole family occupied.
Thanks for a fun weekend

My family and I enjoyed our stay! The home is absolutely stunning with everything you need to keep your whole group entertained. The host was amazing and our stay was perfect! Would highly recommend.

This is a lovely house in a perfect location, with a beautiful view. The kitchen and game room are well stocked, the beds are comfy, and it sleeps 12 comfortably. Questions were answered quickly. Be sure to take your own food storage containers if you cook and heed their advice about cooking with windows open (no fan). Nice hot tub!

We had a group of 11 girlfriends, all in our 60s. We take little trips together at least once every year. Our weekend at this beautiful beach house was wonderful. We swam, hot tubbed, walked on the beach and the neighborhood streets. We prepared homemade gourmet meals and enjoyed happy hour every evening looking out on the beautiful view. We even plugged our dance song play list into the Livingroom speakers and danced into the night but made sure to wrap it up in time for quiet hours :). Plenty of comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms throughout the house. We hope to return someday in the future!

Lovely house with an amazing view. The kids didn’t even ask for devices, just played all day on the beach!
The most well-stocked house we’ve ever rented. And so much room.
We are planning to rent again next year. This may well become our family summer vacation place!

(Summary) Magical. The accommodations were amazing, along with the owner/representative communication and support from start to finish. The location was perfect. The weather was glorious. The towns visited were charming. The bay, the sea, and low tide were mesmerizing and comforting. Whidbey Island in July was exactly what we needed.
(Details) Everything needed was provided by our hosts. We brought our family of 7 with three generations (ages 2 to 64) to this absolutely perfect environment. We cooked, had meals catered in, and ate out. We stayed put, went to Langley often, explored Coupeville, golfed in Oak Harbor, and fished at Ala Spit, were awestruck on the beaches of Deception Pass, walked Cultus Bay w/ a marine biologist during low tide (thank you Ryan at Whidbey Island Kayaking) and we rented a kayak and paddle board one day to enjoy the peaceful bay waters at medium tide (thank you Krista at Whidbey Island Kayaking), we arose early and were greeted by a bald eagle flying within 20 feet of our beachfront rockers, and made s'mores by the beachfront fire at night. We slept late, stayed up late, completed a Liberty Puzzle, and played pool & corn hole.
We rested, walked, talked, laughed, and each day, we basked in the serene beauty of our southern-tip-of-the-island overlooking the bay with its Mt. Rainier backdrop.
Thank you, Nancy, Al, & Corinnea, for your gracious hospitality. Hopefully this will be the first of many trips to this special place.

The view from the back patio was fantastic. We saw seals, eagles and many birds. We could see the Olympic mountains and Mt. Rainer. Great place for five couples to hang out for a week.

We stayed at this lovely home to celebrate my mother’s 80th birthday. We had family visiting from nearby Poulsbo and Sequim, and from far off Ann Arbor, MI, Malibu, CA, and Aix-en-Provence, France. With ages spanning 25-83, this house provided comfort and activities for all. The younger people enjoyed the game room and beach walks as well as board games and the older people appreciated the comfortable furniture and sitting outside in the sun watching the wildlife and the spectacular view from the deck and visiting with one another. The house was so comfortable and well appointed and easily accommodated all 9 of us. We all felt so grateful to have the opportunity to stay at this property and will look back fondly on the memories we created.

Such a perfect home to gather my four adult children and their partners for a long weekend. Lots of great cooking in the amazing kitchen. Grownup games like pool, air hockey, foosball kept all busy and laughing on the one rainy day. Five bedrooms, all lovely were perfect. Loved it all !

The house and property are lovely and clean and the views of the water can't be beat. The location was so close to the ferry and to all locations on the south side of the island. The property manager was communicative and detailed instructions were sent via email and printed in the house to understand how to operate tech, hot tub, etc. There is a lot of detail included in the rental agreement, so read through and know what you're agreeing to, but in the end it amounts to a reasonable ask to be respectful of the property and the neighbors. Thank you, we had a wonderful weekend!

Our time on Whidbey was wonderful! The home had everything we needed and was just as described. The kitchen is fully stocked. The beds were very comfortable. The location is incredible! Our communication with the host was very thorough. If you are looking for a quiet beautiful place to getaway- this is a perfect spot!

There were four couples who shared this home for the weekend. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The home and the views are even better than the pictures. The outdoor space is really enjoyable. Even though it was a cold weekend we sat outside and enjoyed the views from the back patio. Great communication with the property contact. Very helpful and responsive. We cooked several meals and found the kitchen to be well stocked. We didn't have enough time to enjoy the game room but it was set up very well and looked like it would be fun. Can't say enough about this house except we need to book a longer stay next time!

Everything was perfect. The game room was a huge draw for us and the kids played in there for hours. Great location. Beds were comfortable. View is unbeatable. We will be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at this home! The location, scenery, cleanliness and space was nothing shy of amazing. We enjoyed our weekend get away and all the amenities so much that we intend to make this trip an annual event!

A group of diverse needs were very happy with this house and location. Corrinea was every responsive. Some small issues (electrical was a bit wonky - we lost power in some kitchen outlets and had to keep resetting the hot tub, but the gale force winds might have been a culprit).

Our family of 12 spent Thanksgiving at the Whidbey Island retreat and it was one of the best holidays we've ever had. The house is absolutely beautiful and the layout was perfect for entertaining everyone. The views from every window are spectacular, with beach access just steps from the house, and lots to do. We loved it!

We loved staying at the property for a friends weekend. We went wine tasting around Whidbey, explored the towns, and enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub with the view of the Sound. Plenty of rooms and comfortable beds. Would recommend this house!

Wonderful, spacious home on the water. Excellent, large kitchen that allows several cooks to use the kitchen at the same time. We were thrilled to discover a zero barrier entry as two of our party are mobility challenged. The master bedroom suite on the ground floor was beautiful but the low toilet with no handrails made it unusable by our mother whose birthday we were celebrating. She was able to use the second ground floor bedroom with an en suite bathroom. We had perfect weather but this home would have been fine even if it had rained. We intend to return next year!

Lovely waterfront property and such a delightful surprise when Mt. Rainier shows up across the water!

Nothing about this property was a disappointment. The pictures did not do Justice to the captivating views and the wonderful appointment of the interior. This home provided a wonderful weekend experience for my family. My kids absolutely enjoyed scavenging on the beach during low tide. We enjoyed evening gatherings around the fire pit and ended the night off with a hot tub. This property is an easy commute via the ferry to downtown Seattle where there was plenty of entertainment and night life to be had. This was one of my family's favorite properties we rented and we will be returning soon.

We love the house but there was a few things that were not great. The microwave was not working and that was a huge inconvenience. The hot tub was green and stinky after the maintenance man was here. So we tested it and there was no chlorine in it. Also the light does not work. The water was also shut off the day we had more family coming for the day. The washing machine that was missing the cover in the spin cycle was super loud and shook the house. We went to light a fire and couldn’t find a lighter.

We had a sibling reunion to celebrate our baby brother turning 50. The house had everything we needed for a great time.
Enjoyed the view. Would stay there again. Thanks for letting
us enjoy your beautiful home.

I'd like to live here
My husband and I joined our two adult daughters and their families (including 3 three-year olds) for a week on Whidbey. There were so many wonderful things about this rental. I truly would love to sit in the rocking chair and watch the tide every day of the year.
I will say that the pages of information about the property and the cautions about it's use were a little off-putting and scary at first. What we found, however, was that we were able to use the home and stay within the guidelines quite easily.
The kitchen was well stocked with pans and dishes and utensils. (Housekeeping needs to check the stock after guests leave as we found several plates and glasses and pans that needed to be washed before use. We decided this was probably because the dishwasher is older and not as efficient as some so things need to be well rinsed before they are put in the dishwasher.)
There were plenty of comfortable beds and bathrooms. The light floods in and is beautiful. The kitchen/dining area easily seated all nine of us and several cooks could be in the kitchen at once. Everyone enjoyed the outdoor space.
I had a couple of impressions from the listing that weren't accurate. First, the outdoor green space looks quite large. It is not. Second, I expected the access to the beach to be doable with caution. It was for the more nimble but not for all of us. That wasn't a big deal. There are two other access points within short walks. I do wish the HOA would consider letting renters use the lovely facilities (play area, pool, tennis court).
Check-in and out was easy. The host was very responsive. We discovered the coffee maker was not working. Corinnea was there quickly with a replacement. We were so busy with the island activities and visiting that we didn't even watch the televisions but the internet worked well as did most everything else. There were a couple of glitches. The hot tub was out of order and could not be used. The microwave gave us a start and then a laugh. It sounds like it starts running (and the carousel go around) each time the door is opened! Corinnea assured us it was safe and that a replacement would soon be made.
This home was clean and well stocked. The owners even provided a welcome gift bag and all the makings for s'mores. We appreciated the opportunity to spend a week here.

Beautiful home on Puget Sound
It was very cool for us to see the ocean in action. Watching the tide move in and out was very cool, and walking the beach was a daily family adventure to find various sea creatures, shells and sand dollars.
The home is lovely and located on a quiet street. It was clean and comfortable space for our three generation family. It was well designed for our group with the second floor easily able to accommodate the family, complete with a TV room, while our Master suite was located on the first floor. The rocking chairs on the front patio we perfectly located and got much use during our stay, and the patio dining table is where we chose to eat all of our meals...can't beat the view!
Corinnea was our contact and while we had no issues during our stay, she was very helpful prior to check in, responding quickly when messaged.
Unfortunately the hot tub was not working correctly and could not be fixed during our stay, so that was a bit of a disappointment for us, as it was one of the reasons we selected this home.
A nice touch was the gift package of coffee and treats that was left for us, as well as the supplies, including firewood, that was left to make smores...the kids really enjoyed!
Overall, a beautiful well-maintained home located in a unique and lovely setting. Be sure to bring lots of layers. The ocean is beautiful but the wind is cool, especially in the morning and evening.

Perfect Spot for a Family Vacation!
We had three generations and there was plenty space for our family of 9. The kitchen has everything you would need. The views are just the best! Really a relaxing place. We saw seals, river otters, and bald eagles almost on a daily basis. The house and location have so much to offer. We ventured out for the local farmers markets over the weekend and in to Langley for a little shopping. Spent a lot of time on the water kayaking in Cultus Bay and then relaxing in the hot tub after. For those who like to soak up some sun, the rocking chairs and loungers are great! For those who like the shade the back porch stays pretty shaded during the day. The game room was a fun distraction too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Would highly recommend!!

Spott Family Reunion
This place is beautiful and right on the Sound. You can see Mt Rainier and Olympic, low and high tides.
It fits 12 people comfortably, 4 bathrooms, game room, and 12 people around the dining table. We so much enjoyed ourselves and would love to stay again.

Beautiful Location - And Wonderful Assistance
I just returned from leading a retreat for women on Whidbey Island, and this house was a beautiful retreat space. The view of the water was breathtaking, and we thoroughly enjoyed the beauty of the home.
I can't say enough for the help offered by the home's manager -- from gathering supplies I mailed ahead, offering advice on restaurants, etc., to helping plan ferry schedules for early morning getaways. She went over and beyond.
While there were challenges to planning this retreat on Whidbey Island due to closures and changes due to Covid, we could not have enjoyed the stay more. The weather was a gift, and a beautiful performance by five female Orcas on Mother's Day was like a gift from the heavens. Wonderful trip!
