As a 32nd anniversary get away from our adult children launching the nest, the space, coffee and beer bonus, and outdoor venue, were just right. Plenty of room! Loved the shower soap! Thank you, we were blessed, Tom

My family and I enjoyed this place immensely, Michele has thought of everything anyone would ever need for a stay. The location in such a beautiful neighborhood is great and it's very centrally located. My daughter enjoyed the toys, toddler table, her own private room with bunk, and of course the chickens! We loved Asheville and hope to be back soon!

Michele is a great host. Location was a 5 minute drive from downtown. The fresh chicken eggs was a wonderful suprise.

Property is in an excellent location, close to everything in Asheville. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Michelle has thought of everything for children: books, stuffed animals, games, trampoline, swing set, tree house with zip line and chickens. My grandchildren loved it. Kitchen has spices, coffee, microwave and an induction oven. Nice climate friendly health & cleaning products. I highly recommend.

Michele was so sweet, was quick to respond and went out of her way to be helpful. Our daughter got sick while we were there and she was so understanding and provided replacement bedding right away. There was a nice supply of kids stuff and she had the pack 'n play already set up when we got there. The pictures do not do this place justice. I appreciate that she's trying to keep the shower doors out of the landfil, but you do have to be very careful when opening/closing the doors. We would stay here again when our kids (3 & 1 years old) are older and are able to shower on their own.

Had a couple of days to visit family in Asheville and this worked out great. The property was well stocked with everything and Michele was very responsive. The beds were comfy and the unit was clean. We'd definitely stay again and hopefully have a little more time on the next trip.

A Great Place in a Great City
My wife, son and I had a wonderful week in Asheville. Our host, Michelle, was very gracious and helpful, and set up the home beautifully. We walked into downtown Asheville to sample the sights and food several times. Her neighborhood has so many great old homes - it was a treat to hang out there!
We definitely would rent again from Michelle if we are in the area.

Historic Area with a great location!
The pictures of the property don't do it justice. The unit was clean and had great personal touches and we loved the personal guide book of Asheville Michelle had left. The home is situated in a historical neighborhood in the midst of beautiful old homes and bnbs. There is a great espresso caravan right down the hill and pristine walking trails to UNC Asheville and downtown right outside of your door! Michelle included everything we needed for a comfortable stay and even through in some local eggs (from her backyard!) and pretzels/hummus. She was quick to respond and although we were booked up and didn't have time to chat, she always had a smile. One bathroom for 3 girls wasn't ideal, but the rest of the space was perfect. Will definitely book here again!

Wonderful!
Clean home in great location. The rental feels larger than it appears in the pictures. Many windows make it nice and bright. Beautiful, well equipped kitchen. Michele includes everything you could possibly need including soap, shampoo, snacks, coffee, tea, and even fresh eggs from the backyard residents. You couldn’t ask for a more thoughtful host!

Great little place close to Asheville.
My family and I stayed here for a long weekend and absolutely loved the place and the location. The property owner Michele was awesome! Great location within walking distance to downtown and a great historic neighborhood and trails to walk. We had 2 adults and 4 kids and we all were very comfortable. We will be back in the future.

This was the perfect Asheville home away from home! Michele provided every amenity you could need, including fully equipped kitchen with energy saving induction burners, free coffee, tea, and other snacks, a SmartTV along with DVD's, and so many fun activities for kids! We have already decided to come back on our next trip to Asheville. Michele was so helpful and accommodating!

Wonderful little hideaway
This was a great little bungalow that had literally everything you could possibly need. We did not have small children in our party, but there was even a fort building kit in the closet. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Asheville.

Fabulous family stay!
Michele has thought of everything for this rental. She had local hummus, crackers, and beer waiting for us. Our 2 year old loved playing with the toys and reading books that were in the apartment. The neighborhood is beautiful and we loved being able to walk to downtown.

Nice spot
Michele was friendly and accommodating. The apartment was in a beautiful wooded neighborhood close to town. Everything we needed was provided. Bed was comfy. Great water pressure. An overall nice place to stay. We'll visit again when we have more time to really see Asheville. Our trip was just an overnight

Great location for a “get away“
Cute, quaint, has everything you need, the owner thought of every little detail. Would be great for a small family to get away for a weekend in the fall, Spring, Summer, you name it. Couples could have a romantic weekend near all the happening place in Asheville. Short drive to just about anything you could want. Walking distance to a great trail and park

Wonderful Stay
Very clean and comfortable! We had everything we needed. Michele was so nice and wonderful to communicate with. This property was perfect for my family of five. The kids could have their own space if they needed it. It was also close to everything.

A nice little getaway
We loved staying in Michele’s apartment in Asheville. The location provides a calm and relaxing atmosphere and is close enough to the center of town , it’s restaurants and quaint little shops.
The apartment itself is comfortable, spacious with a bedroom/living room for 2 people and a separate room for kids, and it is equipped with needed amenities.
Michele is a very nice host and available as needed. She also provides information on the wildlife in her backyard and activities to do in the area. Yes, we would return there without hesitation.

Three wonderful days in Asheville NC
We enjoyed a really great 3 days in Historic Montford in Asheville. Our accommodation was excellent, clean and comfortable. Our hostess was extremely welcoming and had left lovely fresh flowers, some local snacks and beer. There was a folder with information about what to do, restaurants to eat at and breweries to visit. It was the perfect walking distance to downtown.
We especially enjoyed downtown Asheville with its lovely historic architecture, arts and crafts. Sierra Nevada Brewery was also a must see!

Such a comfortable & convenient place to stay!
I was a one-person traveler on vacation to explore Asheville area and do some cycling.
This was a perfect place because of its amenities and its close location to downtown.
It is located in a pretty neighborhood and right next to the Reed Creek Greenway for walking/jugging/cycling. I didn't have to drive my car downtown since was only a 15 minutes walk and, of course, very safe.
Michele is a thoughtful and very helpful hostess. Always ready to help, and I felt bad disbursing her a few times.
Kitchen was fully equipped for my needs, not to forget all the goodies she has ready for you when arriving:-)
BTW, the main bed that I used was very comfy (and I can tell you that I am very picky about my bed).

Cheerful Home in Historic Montfort
Outstanding accomodations in a picturesque area very convenient to Downtown. Our hostess's attention to detail was way above normal, beautiful freshly cut flowers, snacks and tips about places to go. We've stayed in several homes with AIRBNB and Home Away ----none better than with Michele !!

Perfect home base for family
We stayed three nights at Michele’s place and we had a fantastic time. Michele had a variety of toys for our young children and she had some goodies waiting for the adults upon arrival as well. The apartment layout was great because we could put the children to bed in the bedroom and enjoy time on the patio or main living area. The location was close to everything and the neighborhood was safe. It was also close to a park. Asheville was a wonderful city to visit and we look forward to coming back and staying at Michele’s again!

Clean, convenient, attractive lodgings
Very nice apartment, well decorated + clean. Picturesque neighborhood. Close to downtown + Biltmore House. Stocked with lots of personalized foods + toiletries. Enjoyed streaming a couple movies, but regret inability to access regular TV viewing. (Perhaps didn't know how.) Shower really small, but did the job. AC is window unit in main area. Need to leave bedroom door partially open to get any cooling, but ceiling + additional fan kept it comfortable. Driveway VERY steep + bumpy. Walkable, but did not drive down with lower riding car. Higher SUV type vehicle could probably do it. Parking available on street in front of house. Leah, property manager in absence of Michelle, was very friendly + helpful. Very nice 2 night stay.

Great place to stay!! Loved the house and the ease of getting around Asheville!
Michelle did an excellent job of stocking her home with everything one might need. Fresh flowers were in every room, as well as delicious snacks and local beer left for us when we arrived. I would definitely recommend her home, and look forward to going spending some more time there!!

Great host!
We loved Michelle’s place. Lovely neighborhood within walking distance of the park and restaurants. Best of all were all the special touches in the space - fresh flowers; local beer, hummus, & crackers; everything you’d need if you wanted to cook. We could only stay one night this time, but would love back to spend time exploring.
