My Husband and Sisters/Bro all came out for the Essence festival and we had a blast. We love the house it was very cozy and home like. The spa tub is much needed and the room upstairs is loft style with two beds in it 😎 we utilize all beds available even the pull out couch. We had dinner in the kitchen and chill sessions on back porch while enjoying board games and card cames as well. The convention center is in walking distance from this location and it is a nice location to be in for walking to and from night life activities. We did get to see a lot of of New Orleans that were beautiful and awesome. This location is anawesome one if you don't plan on doing a whole lot of driving. Ride shares worked out great when we went other places out of the area. You would not believe how close everything was. The home was nice and cool the beds are comfortable and we will get this home again soon for another event.

We spent a few days in NOLA for my son's birthday. The event was planned for multiple family members but ended up with only the 2 of us. The home is beautiful and is set up for multiple guest configurations. It is a bit of a walk to most venues but we felt it was worth it to secure gated parking on site. The owner and his host were great about communicating from start to finish. We didn’t prepare any meals but the kitchen and dining area provide all the amenities. There are restaurant venues close by and plenty of delivery options as well. For those that like to sit outside, the back porch and yard provide plenty of room to hang out. The house is well maintained and spotless with the exception of the floors. Expect bare feet or socks to get dirty just walking around indoors. The only other complaint was the traffic noise. The windows certainly help but the noise was still a constant feature for us. We expect most city dwellers would not find the noise to be a problem but we are used to a quieter space. All in all, a beautiful and secure home away from home with all the amenities within walking distance of most venues.

Our family travel crew stayed here for 6 days while in New Orleans for the first time. The location was spacious, very centrally located, and in a really safe neighborhood. All of the places we wanted to visit were only a 20 minute walk away. Sometimes we Uber’ed but only when our feet were aching ☺️
I can’t say enough about the wonderful property manager Allen. He was so responsive and accommodated our every request. He also gave us a really nice run down of the house upon arrival, and some great restaurant recommendations. Our whole group was really pleased with everything. If and when we come back to New Orleans, we would absolutely stay here again.
Thank you Sam and Allen!

Our family came for spring break and enjoyed the NOLA lovely March weather and many attractions. The home itself is very nice with comfortable beds and a fun, authentic style. The hosts are incredibly attentive to the details for a top-notch experience. It's exactly as described in the listing plus more. There are many great restaurants within a few blocks, and it's right next to the WW2 museum. It's about a 20 minute walk to the French Quarter. New Orleans was an exciting trip for my teens as something a little different for spring break. We especially enjoyed the escape rooms, ebike tour, cemetery, and exceptional dining. The WW2 museum was very impressive. The hosts were incredibly accomodating for our early arrival and provided lots of great recommendations for us. This property is certainly a 5 star experience.

Absolutely beautiful home in New Orleans. Location is perfect!! Walk to restaurants and the WWII museum. Short drive to St. Charles (5-10 min depending on how far uptown you are headed. Walk or drive to the French Quarter. House is beautiful, spacious and sparkling clean. Beds are comfortable and ample room for our family of 7. Off street parking was a wonderful bonus. Owner and manager very friendly and responsive. We will definitely stay here again. Look no further! Book this place!!

Our VRBO was meticulously clean and very comfortable. The location was perfect, a little distance from the hustle and bustle yet easy walking distance to the action. Our hosts were very informative and helpful in every way. We enjoyed our visit very much.

Sam and Allen are excellent hosts and efficient communicators which made our pre, during and post stay hassle free. Even following up on requests and trying their best to get minor things not working fixed. Certainly made my colleagues and I (a total of 4 nationalities) feel right at home during our stay for our work trip in New Orleans.
The location is also excellent and convenient even if it is not in the "main" highlights of New Orleans which we very much prefer for a quiet night's rest. One can easily, and cheaply use the ride apps to move around while being 5 to 10mins (depending on which hall) walking distance to the convention center.
We would happily book again if our work takes us back to New Orleans.

This beautiful home has everything you need for a great stay in New Orleans! The house is charming and has plenty of space for the 4 adults that were traveling together. The house is well stocked with amenities and very clean. It is quiet at night even with the highway being close by. There is private secured parking if you have a car. It is close to may restaurants and the WWII Museum and a short walk from public transportation to get anywhere in New Orleans. (The jazzy pass is affordable and convenient so we did not rent a car.) It is a very comfortable base from which to explore the area. Rouses Grocery delivers making it easy to get groceries for those nights we wanted to cook using the amazingly well equipped kitchen. Allen met us at the house when we checked in to provide info on the house and many great suggestions about New Orleans. We highly recommend this property for anyone wanting to visit New Orleans! We will definitely stay here when we come back to New Orleans!

This is the best house that I have ever say that in terms of location, provisions, amenities, and safety.
I will certainly recommend it to anyone and will return again. The next time I come back to New Orleans.

You will not be disappointed at all with this property. The owner, Sam, and the property manager, Allen, went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was fantastic. They were very welcoming from the initial reservation, the check-in, and during our stay. The home is very clean, has gated and private parking for multiple cars, and is well-furnished with everything needed for our my group of four. If not for the record heat wave that occurred during our stay, we would have walked to all of the popular tourist areas in NOLA because the location is ideal. It is extremely close to the convention center, so walking there was not an issue. No need to keep searching; if this property fits your search criteria then book it now! You won't regret it.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful house, and felt very welcome. Everything was just as described, and the owner and property manager were very responsive. The location was great for us as well, as many things were easy to walk to, or a short Lyft ride away if we didn’t feel like walking. We also appreciated all the great recommendations and helpful tips. Would definitely stay here again!

We are a family of five with 3 adult sons. This property was ideal for us. Very comfortable space, with a master bedroom, and three large additional beds for each son. The common area with full kitchen, dining area, and living room was spacious, allowing us to spread out. There is an enclosed parking area in the back of the property for a vehicle.
The location in the warehouse district is just a block away from the National WWII Museum, close to the convention center, and an easy walk through the many restaurants of the warehouse district to the central business district and French quarter. One can also walk a few blocks to Harmony Circle and catch a street car to the Garden District, a lovely ride through a beautiful neighborhood and access to many additional fantastic restaurants.
We were welcomed in person by Allen, who gave us many great tips about where to visit. Overall, this is a great place to stay.

Neat and tidy, perfect for guys on a visit to JazzFest. At first blush the location seems sketchy. Don’t worry! It is actually an absolutely terrific location, very safe and close to dozens of restaurants and bars.
The communication and helpfulness of Allen the manager and Sam the owner is superb!

Can’t say enough good things about owner Sam and his property manager Mr Allen. So accommodating… arranged to get my advanced deliveries. Provided great recommendations and immediately returned texts with our questions
A beautiful home filled with art. The house is super convenient to the highway yet we felt very safe arriving in at all hours of the night. W/Ds and kitchen supplies were top notch

This was a fantastic stay. We do not have one single thing we would change. Sam (owner) was extraordinarily responsive, including prior to our trip, and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable for our family including young kids. He provided us with extra pack and plays and strollers. All things that were not required by the advertisement, but truly indicative of a host who cares about his guests. They made packing for the trip that much easier. His responsiveness, caring, and even willingness to send photos was great!
Allen (house host) was very friendly. He went out of his way to make sure we knew where everything was. Our arrival was very easy and he was a resource during the trip for restaurant recommendations.
The gated parking was great (there were several broken windows in cars on the streets nearby). It was very easy parking in the gated area. The location was great. Walking to the conference center was a breeze. Getting to the street car was easy and it was also walkable to the french quarter. We felt very safe. Despite the proximity to the highway, it was very quiet. There was a bar down the street and there was no noise or spillover from it (even on St Patty's day).
The house itself was VERY clean in all rooms, from top to bottom. While they say that it was a hotel like stay, I would argue that not only was it significantly more comfortable than a hotel stay, but it was also much cleaner than one! Highly recommend!

This property is great - conveniently located, clean, historical, and steps away from a popular bar, The Rusty Nail. Sam & Allen were very communicative, checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Whether you are a small group or large, this house is perfect. We look forward to staying again.

If you're looking for a comfortable house that provides easy access to the various NOLA districts, not to mention locales, restaurants and the like in the immediate vicinity, you can't go wrong! Both the owner and property manager were just wonderful, including providing detailed, can't-miss recommendations that we followed (e.g., Rosie's Rooftop Bar at the Higgins Hotel to see the sun go down; Pascal's Manale)! There are two separate bedrooms, a loft with a couple beds, and the living room has a pullout. This all accommodated 6 of us with some finagling, but easily accommodates 5 people for each separate bed if no one wants to bunk together. So, so glad we made this trip and stayed here! Thanks so much!

This was the perfect property to accommodate our group of 6 for our recent trip to NOLA. Located in the Warehouse District, it's beautiful, very clean and conveniently located close to everything. It was also well stocked with all the essentials that we needed to enjoy our stay. And I can’t forget to mention the GATED PARKING. You can’t beat that, especially in New Orleans.
Sam (owner) and Allen (house host) are amazing too! Sam is very welcoming and helpful. Prior to booking, he was very responsive in answering my questions and offering tips as I was finalizing plans for the stay. He sent a list of recommendations for all things NOLA. Allen texted while traveling to check on us and let us know he would be waiting for us upon arrival! He was also on hand when we had questions about little things. When our Ubers kept getting cancelled, Sam called a pedal taxi for the ladies, so we didn’t have to walk to the ball in our heels. And he called on Saturday as a courtesy to check in on us and even gave me a historical lesson on the home. When I say…SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY at its BEST!
I highly recommend this property. We will definitely return on our next trip to the Crescent City!

Mr. Allen and Mr. Sam were sweethearts. Our stay was very comfortable and we felt very safe, we walked everywhere. We made a lot of home cooking. We had double decker bus you could get on at the WWII museum, it was a short walk.
Plan to stay here again.

This was a perfect property for our friends to enjoy our bdays!! We took lyft every day to go to town the average cost was $13 unless it was around 5PM it is more expensive during that time. To catch the boat the ride was about 10 min. Lyft average wait was 5 min This property is as described, and manager was responsive! I highly recommend this property! Great location and grocery store, while very expensive is about a block away but Rouses is an actual grocery store so lyft ride around 4 mins away and worth the lower prices. Great little restaurants around the corner, with great catfish sandwiches but is known for oysters! Emerils is a close walk but we took Lyft 2 min drive!

We have rented many houses through VRBO through the years but this rental was definitely one of our favorites! The owner Sam is so welcoming and offers wonderful suggestions based on interests. He was very helpful in me finalizing our plans for the week and was so responsive in answering all my questions. His house is very clean and charming and was well stocked with all the essentials to enjoy our week. We liked the location because we could walk to both the French Quarter and the Garden District and also enjoyed many restaurants and the WW 2 museum all within a few blocks of his house. Highly recommend….wish all VRBO hosts were as accommodating and helpful as Sam!

This home is wonderful. Thank you, Sam for sharing it with us. The property exceeded our expectations. Perfect size for 3 couples. We felt very welcome. We found it to be a nice , relaxing place to stay. The location is good. Close to everything, yet far enough from the bustle of the French quarter. The property owner, Sam, was very helpful and very responsive to all of our questions prior to our arrival. We appreciated the little extras too. Well stocked with everything we needed!

We rented this for a convention. Really liked having the kitchen so well stocked! Communication with owner/manager was good. Only things would be a better front door lock (door didn’t seem to shut with clear seal, seemed a little flimsy) and upstairs got very hot at night even with a fan.
Thanks so much! We would use you again!

The house was very nicely kept and beautifully old. There was plenty of room for seven adults with 3 separate showers. The location is super convenient to the WW2 museum and downtown. Despite the proximity to the freeway it was quiet inside. Be sure to check out Sidecar on that same block for dinner!
The parking situation is unbeatable with backyard gated parking for 4 cars.
