About this house rental
This beautiful custom built, three-story Real Log Home is located on a 1 ½ acre lot on Lake Keowee. The owner/builder constructed the 5000+ sq. ft. home in 2005 and captured all of the fine details. Not only does the home provide large open water and mountain views, but the lot has plenty of trees and green space.
The home has 6 large bedrooms and 3 ½ baths, a spacious loft area with incredible lake views. Five of the home’s bedrooms offer a picturesque view of the lake. Three bedrooms are upstairs with a Jack and Jill Bathroom. The main level includes the master bedroom and master bath (shower, jetted tub, separate his and her vanities). French doors open from the master room onto the deck.
The great room has a high vaulted tongue & groove ceilings and has windows from the floor to ceiling to capture the beauty of Lake Keowee. Beautiful hickory wood floors are on the main level (carpet and tile in the master bedroom and bath). The dining room is included in this open floor plan. Dine inside or out and enjoy the breathtaking scenery.
A gourmet chef’s kitchen includes a five burner gas range, dual ovens, a microwave, two side by side refrigerators with dual ice makers and bottom freezers, walk-in pantry, beverage cooler, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, spacious island with prep sink and filtered water tap, deep double commercial sink with disposal and cutting area. The breakfast bar provides additional seating. This kitchen overlooks the great room and dining area. This kitchen will bring out the gourmet in you.
The home has two spacious decks. The deck off of the main level includes a fireplace, porch swing, and gas grill. The deck off of the lower level provides you with an easy access to the lake.
The walk-out basement includes two bedrooms and a full bathroom. A great room includes a Clemson orange pool table, separate ping pong table, dart board, wet bar, and flat screen television.
A laundry room with a washer and dryer is available for use on the main level.
A newly built firepit area with great views of the lake along with a concrete golf cart path to the dock.
A private covered dock, wave runner ramp, and two kayaks continue the adventure. Not only does the dock provide great swimming opportunities, but it also provides a relaxing backdrop. The location also provides easy access to a boat ramp (less than 1/2 mile – Warpath Landing). In fact, you can view the ramp from the neighborhood. For your convenience, there is plenty of space to park your boat trailer at the top of our driveway.
Great location. The home is within minutes to Clemson and Seneca. Downtown Greenville, SC and Cashiers NC is approximately 45 minutes.
As well, I have a pontoon boat that can be rented with the house at a good price!

Great family lake house

Very nice place, clean, great amenities, great location!

House was beautiful and amenities awesome. Loved being able to rent the boat and explore the lake! Watch out though the walk to the dock is a doozy!

The house is great, perfect layout. Nice and spacious with great kitchen for big groups (2 full size fridges, double ovens, huge industrial double sink). Basement was perfect for our 8 teenagers to hang out, play pool and ping pong. We rented the pontoon which was really nice, no pickup or drop off hassles, it was just there waiting for us. Owner very responsive. Walk to the dock is very steep, which was not a problem for us at all. Will rent here again!

The house and property are absolutely amazing! Plenty of rooms, bathrooms, outdoor areas, and lots of dock space for wave runners, a boat, laying in the sun, and swimming in the lake. House was immaculate! Kitchen is big and has everything you need to cook including two ovens, two fridges, large professional sink, and second sink. We will definitely stay here again!

Fantastic house, wonderful location!! We were aware of the steepness of the trek to the lake and it was somewhat challenging. Our main complaint was the temperature in the house. It was a very hot week and the air conditioning apparently couldn't keep up. Otherwise, it was a perfectly wonderful experience!!!

Great house to rent for a family vacation! See my previous review for more information.

Lovely, relaxing spot on Lake Keowee. The online photos really don’t do it justice. Loved our stay for a Clemson graduation. Perfect location and was a wonderful refuge to retire to after festivities to just relax and enjoy family time. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

It was a perfect place to spend the weekend with family. Would come back anytime. Could not have been more pleased with the house and location.

Beautiful home. Close to Clemson and grocery store. Plenty of space and game room downstairs was great.

Very steep driveway and walk to boat dock. Thank goodness our elderly family didn’t stay with us because they couldn’t have walked the steep hill to boat dock.

We loved our family vacation in this large well equipped house on Lake Keowee! We had our entire family including adult kids and grandchildren for an enjoyable lake vacation. We had 9 adults, 4 children and one baby and had plenty of bedrooms and areas for the adults and children to hang out. There is a loft area where 3 additional children could sleep if necessary but it is open to the living area below. Our children loved playing the games up there. The kitchen has 2 refrigerators, 2 ovens, a large commercial sink, large pantry and large table making it ideal to prepare meals for everyone. We usually don’t have enough refrigerator space. The house was well stocked with most of the kitchen items we needed: enough dinnerware, cutlery, pots and pans and 2 coffeemakers. We brought our own crockpot. Also had basics like PT, TP, DW soap, soap…Everyone enjoyed playing pool and ping pong in the basement. We loved hanging out at the dock and swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking. There were plenty of life jackets and a few floats. We brought them for the baby and smaller children. We also rented the pontoon boat and enjoyed cruising around the lake. We also made s’mores by the fire pit one night. The TVs took a minute to figure out but my sons were able to get them on. The only negative as mentioned in other reviews is the steepness of the walk down to the lake and back up! It would be impossible for a disabled or elderly person.

We love this lake and the house and property were perfect for our crew. The location and proximity to Seneca and Clemson, and the quick 2 hour drive from Atlanta were very convenient. House is well positioned on the lake for exploring the southern and northern parts. Great kitchen and family area that was perfect for hanging out, with a wonderful deck and views right through the door.
Richard was super helpful and responsive. Can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic home with a jaw-dropping view. Lots of bedrooms and beds to accommodate our group. Immaculately clean. We enjoyed the dock, and the large, well-equipped kitchen was extremely helpful in feeding our crew.

This home was perfect for my large extended family. We needed a home with many bedrooms to hold our big family to have my mothers 90th birthday gathering. This beautiful home had plenty of room to spread out and never feel on top of each other. The downstairs game room kept the adults very occupied with lots of things to do. The view was great to wake up to and have coffee. The host was great to work with when I had questions. The only draw back and the pics show it is the hill down to the water. It’s very steep for older people. But all the homes in that area have steep driveways. We enjoyed the home so much that we will be back again.

Huge house with three separate floors Could easily accommodate 3 families. Well stocked kitchen, very clean, comfy beds.

Our family met for a Clemson football game - fabulous location and minutes from campus. Mr. Richard was an excellent communicator. The house is on a steep lot (so it was a little tough for the older ones). But otherwise, it was awesome!

House is quite large. Amazing location. Stocked with more items then noted. Every board game you can think of. Float toys, life jackets, “beach” towels, plenty of outdoor seating. Fire pit chairs need to be updated, but all the other seating was nice. Having a boat with the house is a huge plus. It’s not fancy like ones you can rent but it’s nice enough. They even have a keurig and regular coffee pot. We’ve always done beach trips and took a chance on this trip. Glad we did! We will do it again!

The house was great for three families. Lots of room for the kids to hang out away from the parents. The driveway and paved path to the lake are very steep (not sure that those with mobility issues would be safe getting to and from the lake). Fire pit was fantastic for s’mores and cove was good for swimming and kayaking. Kids spent hours in the lake even in the rain.

We had a wonderful time. The property was clean, spacious and well appointed. The only thing a prospective renter might want to know is that due to the steep slope of the property, it's probably not appropriate for the very young or oldest members of your family.

The house was perfect for a large family gathering. There's more room than appears from the listing. We loved our time there

Great property and super convenient with the inclusion of the boat for an extra charge. Really appreciated the kayaks and paddle boards. House was well equipped. Central location on the lake was great for us to learn our way around as 1st timers. It was fine for us but the steep grades into the property and down to the lake are something to be aware of if your guests have mobility concerns. Sunsets from the dock 👍

Great location on an amazing lake
We had a great stay at Lake Keowee! The house was just as advertised, with plenty of space. Could use another bunk room, but that’s just not-picking. We had a couple of minor issues, but nothing worth complaining about. We rented the boat as well, which worked for what it is - a party barge for slow cruising. It’s seen some wear and tear, and isn’t made for towing tubers. But it’s also accurately priced. Richard was very responsive to questions and even dropped off an extra tube for us. Overall a great stay!!

Paradise on the Lake
We had an amazing stay. There was tons of room for everyone to spread out, the game room was perfect for the kids and guys and the pontoon was convenient for some time on the lake. The walk down to the lake was a little steep but overall we were very pleased and will def be back.

We had a great time celebrating our son's graduation from Clemson at this beautiful and spacious home.

Wonderful stay!
We had a wonderful time with our family at this property. The views were wonderful and the set up was perfect for our extended family. The host is was extremely understanding when we had a family emergency and allowed us to keep our boat docked for a few days after the booked stay until we could sort transportation. We would absolutely recommend and plan on booking again next year!

Great space for a group of guys. We came out for the Clemson game and had a great time at the house. Plenty to do in the house for a large group.

Beautiful place for a family/friends reunion
We reserve this property every year for a reunion of college friends and our children. It is the perfect spot. Great lake access for the kids and lots of space for hanging out on the porch and enjoying the sunset. Richard is very helpful and easy to work with. The house is clean and beautiful. The game room downstairs is perfect for both kids and adults.

Great location, house and owner.
The property is accurately advertised and there is plenty of room. Views are fantastic and the house was properly furnished and comfortable. If you bring a boat, dockage is very deep and protected. We used a couple bumpers at the dock. Neighborhood is quiet and safe. If you have older guests or health issues note that the walk to the dock is steep. Owner is responsive and nearby if there are any issues. Great place that we would rent again.

Perfect family get away
House was just like described. Plenty of beds and linens. Game room was well stocked and everything was in great working condition. The view is spectacular from each deck area and we had a few good sunsets even on rainy days. The dock was nice. We used the kayaks. The pontoon boat was in great running order and easy to use, getting the boat in and out was easy as well. The owner was very accommodating and responsive. We hated to leave, it was a wonderful vacation.

Paradise!
My family and I wanted a vacation during this craziness and this house was perfect. Everything we needed was at our fingertips! We enjoyed the amazing sunsets and sat at the lakeside fire each night. In addition, we rented the pontoon boat and had daily adventures around the lake. The nearby Lighthouse restaurant was ideal for outdoor dining too.

For a crowd!
beautiful home but in an isolated area. Plenty of room but short on some things we could have brought had we known. Cheap pillows and cookware. Would rather have lightweight plates than deal with all those heavy ones. Three floors gave us space for various activities

Terrific Lakehouse
This is a clean, well maintained property on a beautiful lake. The rooms in this home are large and the furnishings are above average. It was an ideal place for our family’s annual summer vacation. A reasonably priced pontoon boat that came with this rental was a real plus. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future.
