incredible place!
This place is incredible! The owners are extremely kind and helpful. The view of our house was outstanding! As we were there for only a short time we decided to watch the sunset from our balcony and it was impeccable! The location was beautiful as this allowed privacy yet a short walk to the center of all activity. We were impressed with the food available in Ancient Epidauros. Honestly, we will try to come back soon..

I have rented many properties in Greece over my 20 years of annual visits and this is by far the best! The home is clean, solidly constructed with a lovely open floor plan and stunning views from the private bedroom balconies, living/dining room balcony, and the spacious terrace surrounding the crystal clear pool...all within an easy 1.5 hour drive from Athens airport - no ferries or fuss to get to this delightful villa!
The grounds are perfectly landscaped and tidy and the mother/son owners (Cathy & Panos) met our every need and expectation - and then some! They were there to give inside tips on places to dine, helped us to rent a chartered boat, even provided us with the best produce and olive oil from their local sources!
This location is ideal for visiting numerous archaeological sites, nearby islands (Poros, Hydra, Spetses) and my favorite city in Greece - Naplion! The local town of Archea Epidavros has a great range of restaurants and cafes, and Dimitri's beachside tavern has some of the best local food and friendly owners less than 5 minutes away. Swim, have some snacks, lunch or dinner, swim again - it's all at your fingertips.
Definitely going to return here - top quality villa with all amenities - best value and kindest owners!

This was just a fantastic choice and as you know there is always a certain fear that the villa won't be just like the pictures or the owner is hiding something. No need to worry on that count Panos and his fabulous family have got villa maintenance and hospitality down to a fine art. The villa has all you need for a great stay including air con, wifi, a great outside eating area plus BBQ and one of the freshest, well maintained swimming pools we have ever had the pleasure to swim in and every year we spend August in various villa's in different part's of Greece. Panos, Xristina, Kaiti & Tasos and their team all work tirelessly and invisibly to ensure that your stay is the best it can be. The villa is set in an Orange Grove, and looks out across acres of Orange groves below in the valley. Now the benefit of that (in addition to being able to walk around the orchard and pick sun warmed oranges (if you get the season right as we did) is,believe it or not, there are no mosquitos to speak of. A few nights I fell by the pool until gone midnight and not one bite!! Every morning you can wake to drink your coffee while marvelling at the spectacular view of various islands and the extinct volcano of Methana. So moving on to ancient epidavros itself - the small seaside town makes a ideal location for exploring other islands / sites within 90 minutes drive, we went to the island of Poros and Spetses - (missed out on Hydra due to the wifes bad planning) and also to Ancient Corinth, Corinthian canal and the beautiful ex-capita city of Nafplio. Not to mention snorkelling on the old "sunken city" and the mind blowing magnificence of the Ancient Epidavros Ampitheatre. also the center of healing and home of many Greek myths and legends. The town itself is quant and small but with butchers, bakers, great beach side tavernas and a pretty large supermarket just outside for weekly essentials. Also don't forget to check out the restaurant and the beach a short walk through the Orange groves below the villa - Greek feasting at its finest. We went on to the Pelion from Epidavros but could have easily stayed longer. Travel time around 2 hrs from Athens by hire car and pretty easy to find, in fact just two roads take you to the town and then you will be welcomed at meeting place (Orange stall) by one of the family who will escort you proudly to your holiday home. ( The fact that it was midnight when we arrived was absolutely no problem). Anyway before I run out of space - GO FOR IT

This was undoubtedly the most wonderful vacation we've ever had with the kids! Everything about this villa is perfect - its location, its size, the pool, the breathtaking view... The villa is well equipped with everything, air-conditioned, comfortable and well maintained. The pool is big and fun to spend time in. Our kids aged 6-16 all enjoyed it! The Home owners are very nice and hospitable and made us feel right at home, willling to help in any way. Epidavros is a lovely little city, which offers everything you need (food, pastry, good restaurants) and the area ia just beautiful with its beaches and other sites. In two words: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

We stayed for a week July, 2012 and thoroughly enjoyed both the villa and the town of Ancient Epidaurus. The villa is spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The pool and pool-area are beautifully done and well-maintained. The view from the pool, overlooking the town and bay are unbeatable. The town itself has most everything you could want, with a pleasant harbor and good restaurants.
The owners are available and very helpful, but never intrusive and they never disturbed us. It is a very quite setting overlooking orange and olive groves. Both the oranges and olive oils available in the town are superb. The villa is relatively close to Athens, 2-3 hrs if you drive slowly, and the highways are very good. We recommend this villa and location highly (but with some fear that it will become too popular!) We plan on returning.

The position on a mountain gives the house a spectacular view on the blue see with litte islands in the water, like a picture. In the house you find eveything you need for the whole family and the little town offers a lot of restaurants and points of interests. For our Kids the large pool was the place to be.
The owners are a nice family, they are very helpfully and are looking for every wish you have. My wife and me had our 25 wedding anniversary. They organiced a lttle chapel with a pictured view to the see and a priest, wich gave us a ceremony.

We booked this house because my husband was involved in a English-speaking theatre production that was supposed to be in the theatre but after we booked the Greek government cancelled the festival which was sad not just for us but also for the people of Epidavros which was a bit like a ghost town while we were there despite it being the middle of August.
We were a multi-generational group including a grandmother in her late seventies and five children ranging in age from 1 to 16. The arrangements in our house (which was the highest of the lot) were perfect for our group with several bathrooms and bedrooms. The house was immaculately clean and completely modern and uncluttered. This is not normally our taste but it seemed perfect in this location and in the hot weather. We much appreciated the air conditioning overnight.
Arriving at the house was an adventure as the driveway up the hill is very steep but we followed our host's advice and managed to make it in a large people-carrier containing nine people and a lot of luggage (the secret is to turn off the air-conditioning to give maximum power to the engine). Getting up the hill became a bit of a ritual. Be aware that the house is not really that near to the coast so unless you are pretty fit it is best to drive to the coast. However the flip side of all this is that the location of the house is quite extraordinary offering probably the most beautiful views I have ever experienced which change constantly with the weather and the hour. There are plenty of different places for everyone to sit and enjoy the view, the sun or the shade. Evening barbecues on the terrace were a pleasure and swimming in the private pool gazing down on the sea was a joy. Believe the photos!
Epidavros town is easily accessible by car with plenty of good food shops if you want to cook at home, lovely restaurants around the harbour and the beautiful beach with the sunken ruins of the old settlement - well worth buying a snorkel! It was a pity the town was deserted when we were there but it was still lovely.
So all in all a perfect holiday - beautiful, comfortable and well-equipped house with great out-door spaces and stunning views, friendly and helpful hosts and in a great location for site seeing.

We found this wonderful place after days of checking for small high-class hotels on Peloponnes and giving up regarding to cost-benefit relation.
We found what we were expecting: A quite place with a spectacular view, a fantastic pool for ourselves, a largely equipped villa and very nice owners.
After one week of sightseeing, taking part in a greek wedding and driving a lot around we were happy to stay in one place for a couple of days.
There are 4 villas and we were two couples staying in the lowermost one, which was built first. Every villa has a fantastic view over the bay of epidavros (believe the pictures!), so that we nearly had the feeling of an infinity pool swimming or laying in our own pool. There was enough space to play beach ball near the pool while the women where sun bathing ... .
In the evening we went to the cities restaurants or we made a barbecue in the fire place next to the pool.
The owner family was very kind and helpful, even though they had to plan a big greek wedding theirselves at that time :-). Every guest can feel, that these villas aren`t managed by a company but by the owner family itself! Really wonderful.
If we had to mention something negative too, their could be done some improvement regarding the sofas or the tv-installation. But since people are staying outside all the time anyway it really doesn`t matter.
In summary we really can recommendate these villas and we are thinking to go back there once.

What a magical house in a magical region ! The whole setting is fabulous. As the house dominates the whole bay of Epidavros, the view is unique and enchanting. The house itself is very comfortable, well designed and nicely furnished. It's just perfect for two families with young teenagers as both adults and kids can have a real privacy and tranquillity !. Just a few plumbering problems needed to be sorted out but nothing serious. The pool's salty water feels great and gives the feeling to be in the sea. The garden is large and very pleasant too. And the landlords are very sweet, always ready to help and make your stay enjoyable, with great tips on local restaurants and activities. Definitely a place I will rent again.

Fantastic holiday!
Our holiday in Greece was exceptional, mainly because of this fantastic villa with swimming pool. Although the house we chose sat at the very top of the hill - getting up there was an adventure in itself - the view is breathtaking. We enjoyed the facilities, especially the swimming pool and bbq - and the owners provided us fantastic, warm service. The small town of Epidavros is nice to have a bite to eat and we used it as a base to explore other nearby attractions. We highly recommend staying at any of the properties offered by this family! Just be brave when going up the hill!! :)
