Wonderful to walk to Pike's Place Market .. shop for food and cook at "home." Easy access to public transit as well. Special treat was the Calder exhibit at SAM, across the street. Above all, delightful to spend time on the terrace looking out across the water ...

If you’re looking to see any of the downtown sights this is the perfect location. One block from the Market, across the street from the Art Museum and 2 blocks from Target for some supplies. Watching the harbor is interesting and you are also only 2 blocks from public transportation.
The apartment is super clean and secure.

I settled on this place due to the location. We were pleasantly surprised with how the place looked once there. It is very clean, bright, and newer looking than in photos. For us, it was all about location, but this was an added benefit. And, location...perfect!

This was one of the best places that we've stayed at! we were in town for a conference and like the ability to have a place to cook our food and eat healthy. the problem for us is that one of us is mold sensitive and sometimes it's hard to rent online and know what you're going to be getting. so I comb all the reviews to see if I can find anything about mold or musty smell or I look at a place in general to see if it looks dark or dreary and may possibly have mold. I have to say without a doubt that there was no mold in this apartment. we did stay up on the 15th floor the view is great! the location is stellar but most important it was clean but didn't have the chemical fake fragrance smell and it didn't have any mold and we are very sensitive and would have noticed. as a side note the other nice thing was that we could actually unplug the wi-fi at night so that when we slept we were Wi-Fi free as we're also a little sensitive to that too. anyway it was a sensitive person's dream and I'll always keep this place in mind if I return to Seattle.

This is a safe building in the middle of everything. Walkable, with loads of restaurants and Pikes Market only a few blocks away. 24 hr super helpful and friendly concierge and parking available for an additional cost. Had some issues in the beginning ( no ones fault, just maintenence stuff) and it was promptly addressed... if only they could also control Seattle's weather, haha. I had a rainy afternoon and night but doordash solved that with easy delivery and I ate my meal in the comfy apartment with outstanding view and balcony. If I return to Seattle I would stay there again.

For such a beautiful location and the higher end price, we expected a bit more. Terrible system to unlock front door.. NEVER opened correctly, and we had to wait 5 minutes each time for it to reset. Towels were old, toiletries (tiny soap and cheap suave shampoo) were worse than a Motel 6. And we were expected to do the wash and dishes before leaving at 11am. Windows had cheap dusty plastic vertical blinds and no curtains as pictured. Balcony not swept and pillows cheap and uncomfortable. Would not stay again.

First time in Seattle and we picked this location due to great reviews and central location as we didn’t rent a car. Debra was so so easy to work with and gave us very complete information regarding check in/out and information about the apartment we rented. We especially liked the 24 concierge service at Harbor Steps as they helped us with directions/restaurants/taxi rides. Harbor Steps is a quiet and clean building and walkable to the waterfront, Pike Place Market, the ferry terminal to Bainbridge Island, Space Needle and many restaurants. It also was close to both of our pick up locations for our day trips out of Seattle. It’s even close to Target to get food and supplies. Highly recommend this apartment

Breathtaking views, easy access to all that Seattle has to offer, comfortable accommodations, and friendly and responsive property management. Thanks to Debra for the excellent stay and for allowing us an extra night's lodging when Idalia canceled our original flight home.

The location of this VRBO is fantastic. You can easily watch the water taxis, cruise ships, and Blue Angels (while we were there) from the balcony. The property was very clean. We were within walking distance of many location we wanted to visit. Please believe the information saying there is no air-conditioning. While we were there Seattle was having record highs.

The apartment is so close to good food and shops as well as the waterfront and market. We walked easily to every place we wanted to see! Would definitely recommend and book again in the future.

View is to die for. People were friendly. Furniture was cheap and disappointing. On par (or worse than) a cheap hotel.

Slow internet. Dropped connection with laptop and tv when using both at the same time. Said it was a metered connection. Upstairs neighbor was insane. Dumped 3 buckets of water down on us when he thought we were smoking

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. They view was spectacular. You can see all of downtown Seattle and Elliot bay. We enjoyed watching the cruise ships and ferries come and go, and the people watching was good fun too. Apartment was well stocked, couches and beds were comfortable. Location was great....we tried many of the restaurants downstairs (Von's is recommended) and walked to Pike Place several times. Check in was easy and our host was kind enough to accommodate an early check-in request. Communication was thorough throughout. Can't wait for our next stay!

This Harbor Steps space was the perfect place to land for time in the city of Seattle. The view was spectacular!!! It’s fully equipped with everything you need to make you feel at home and make meals. But it’s also in the hub of all of the tourist attractions and restaurants and coffee shops for that vacation feel! it was safe and clean and perfect for a long weekend in Seattle.

Overall the until was very nice. Building was very safe and the people who checked us in were great!
The blinds in the bedroom need to be upgraded. The kitchen had the very basics and the toilet was loose.

Fun location, clean unit. Tired furniture and old bed. We could not get our second set of keys or parking pass until late because no one was at the check in desk. Nice water views, close to Pikes Market but crazy construction going on.

This is our second stay at Harbor Steps. We love that it's walking distance from everything we like to do in Seattle. It's nice to come back to the nice view of the harbor in the evening.

Unit had everything we needed. Location was convenient, able to walk or Uber everywhere we wanted to go. Only complaint is being so close to harbor it is noisy. Horns blasting from ships are pretty frequent sometimes late at night when trying to sleep.

Great stay. Amazing views. Convenient and minutes from everything.

We were thrilled when we arrived to find that the listing photo had been taken from our window (same from the balcony). Our interaction with the owner and the concierge were outstanding. Location was just blocks from everything we wanted to see and do. Even found the perfect dining next door: Von's 1000 Spirits is crowded and hard to book, but a quick elevator trip and 90-second walk got us most-excellent dining with the spectacular view. And many more choice eateries abound.
Of course no place is immune from minor glitches (the hair drier was dead, but we travel with one, and the lack of aircon is endemic to the area), but nothing interfered with our great vacation. We would book again, for certain.
10.0 / 10.0
We enjoyed the condo and it’s amenities very much. The owner was lovely and made it very easy. The building is locked to outsiders and felt very safe. Each concierge in the lobby was incredibly pleasant and Guy in particular gave us many restaurant suggestions.
We took Lyft to Whole Foods to pick up basic snacks but enjoyed Vons1000 and Noi on-site. Cafe Ladro around the corner was our go-to coffee shop. Pikes place is 2 easy blocks away. Must eat at Cafe Campagne if you want a quick moment to feel you’re in France. It’s all a short walk away.
The condo has all the amenities we needed. Unfortunately, we are visiting while Seattle is having a heat/humidity wave and without air conditioning in the unit we had to get creative. The owner ensured there were several fans and we used them at night to blow in cool air. The hallways, lobby, elevators and 25th floor have air conditioning that was a reprieve too when we needed to escape the heat. Keep this in mind if your booking during a hot summer - that said - most condos and homes don’t have air conditioning in Seattle. Surely the Emerald City will figure this out as climate change seems to be requiring it.
Enjoy!
Ps The balcony was such a special place to enjoy early morning tea as ocean liners, cruise ships creeped into the docks. Expansive windows allow you to see the Sound and the Ferris Wheel was magical to view at night.

This was a nice location, very clean, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The property manager is excellent!
