The house was amazing so roomy we could definitely relax after hiking and driving all day. So many lovely books—really a library’s worth. We loved having a kitchen to cook some hot meals in. Views from the porch were top notch beautiful. Communication was very responsive the llamas were a definite bonus! We loved our stay

Great location for visiting Glacier NP. Superb condition in the house. Very clean and convenient. Will stay again.

This is a gorgeous property with 3 good sized bedrooms with plenty of storage space. Kids enjoyed helping herd the alpacas in at night. Fabulous location with easy access to Many Glaciers, GTSR, and not too far from Two Medicine. Views are beautiful from property. Hosts were very helpful. Only negative is limited restaurants and absurdly expensive groceries on the east side. That said, well worth it.

This property exceeded our expectations! Upon arriving, we were greeted by the property managers, who were very welcoming and friendly. As soon as we walked into this spotless home, we immediately felt comfortable. There was more than enough room for our family of four, with all of the amenities that we needed. The location is only a 30 minute drive to Many Glacier Hotel and a 15 minute drive to the Glacier East entrance in St. Mary. And the views from the home are spectacular!! I highly recommend staying here, and we will definitely stay again during our next trip to Montana!

This home is located on a hillside of a large ranch. The views are outstanding. The hosts are EXCELLENT. The house itself is very comfortable and roomy. all the rooms are good sized and the living room, kitchen are relatively large. The deck is great to sit out on and just enjoy the location. No A/C so it can get hot during the day, but cools off well at night. It's somewhat remote - so, if you like being away from the crowds it's great. The downside is groceries, restaurants and such are a bit of a drive. Overall, we loved the place and would certainly recommend it.

We only stayed two nights at this lovely property but wished we had time to stay much longer. It was only 15 minutes from the St Mary's entrance on the east side of Glacier Park. The property was immaculate with comfortable beds, and the host left clear instructions for the house and responded promptly to texts when we had questions. We especially enjoyed getting to have coffee in the morning on the deck while looking over the gorgeous ranch property. We even got to see one of the resident bears on the last morning, while he walked through to the woods!

It’s hard to find a larger home to rent on the east side of Glacier. This location was perfect for visiting the park, and it was in a beautiful setting. There is no air conditioning which was fine, but some of the windows are not working easily so were very difficult to open and keep open. The ice maker in the freezer doesn’t work, so it would have been nice to have some ice cube trays available. Some kitchen spray cleaner would have been helpful for keeping the counters and stovetop clean as well. These were all minor details that would be easily taken care of for future guests. Overall this was a great place that I would definitely recommend.

We love the house, classic and stunning view.

The house was clean and private. It had beautiful views of the rolling hills all around. It was convenient to Canada/Waterton, Many Glacier and the Going to the Sun Road from the east entrance. However, there is not much directly in the area itself - maybe one restaurant and grocery store that aren't always open.
The host was very responsive and available. I appreciate that she left the heater on when we arrived and offered to mail an item I had left behind. Overall, great stay!

The Elk Willows is a nicely furnished, clean and dramatically-located lodging with incredible views in three directions, including S over Glacier National Park. The Paul Ranch is fairly isolated from basic necessities such as groceries (especially organic) and gas for your car. $5.25 per gallon at the one gas station within 40 miles. Nevertheless, the setting of Elk Willows and the proximity to the 3 E side entrances to Glacier National Park makes staying here a no brainer, at least for us. Not everyone’s cup of tea, though.

Location, location, location. This property is so conveniently located to Many Glacier and St Mary village. It's also a pretty quick drive over to Two Medicine. When the East side does not offer as many lodging options, the Paul Ranch is a great alternative. This particular location is large enough to accommodate a decent size family. The unit itself is surprisingly huge. My only critiques lie with the bugs that flew in the house, particularly large horse flies and moths, the difficulty in finding the driveway up to the actual location without much help at night when checking in, and the lack of free roaming alpacas during our stay. We were able to see them on the last day driving out. Other than that, the property was actually pretty good with an offering of beautiful sunrises. The beds were comfortable, the aesthetic was very genuinely Native American, and the unit itself offered so many little perks such as toiletries, laundry pods, spices, and every small appliance you could ask for. I paid for the jetpack to get extra Wi-Fi service while out there however, I never even needed to connect to the Wi-Fi let alone the jetpacks. I got great service through Verizon while I was there. I did find it to be a little overpriced for the overall quality but, I guess you're paying for the location. I would definitely consider staying here again.

A group of 6 of us women stayed at this wonderful house for 3 nights. We were greeted coming and going each day by a small herd of cattle and the Llama and alpacas. Larry was quick to respond to all of our questions and even when we had a minor issue. The home was very clean, as pictured and had plenty of room for us to spread out into. It is a drive back onto a large farm which is easy to find by daylight--make sure you know your landmarks or GPS to find it at night! :) It was nice to have laundry access after hiking 6 days in National Glacier Park. It is perfectly located to access Many Glacier and the East Entrance as well as a mere 15 minutes to Waterton Canada.

Lots of space for the six adults we had in group.quiet and gorgeous views of a different nature than within the park.Easy ,quick drive to East entrance. All in party said beds comfortable, enough towels provided.Decor is as shown in pics,so be prepared for 70's and 80's.Recommend Two Sisters cafe for eating out. After people packed GNP,all loved coming back to the quiet and views and space to spread out.

This property was perfect for our group.
Very comfortable and quiet with easy access to Glacier NP. We had everything we needed and we would have loved to stay longer had there been availability.

We were unsuccessful in snagging a room in a GNP hotel so this was a great alternative. Plenty of room. Quiet. Short drive to eastern park entrances.

Loved our stay and only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the peace and quiet of the ranch. Immaculate, comfortable and spacious for our family of five. Perfect location to explore East Glacier- St Mary and Many entrances are so close! Host was so considerate and helpful communication was appreciated. Would definitely stay here again!

Property manager very responsive, location excellent (close to Many Glacier entrance)…very helpful with information about the area. We hope to return to this area one year to explore this area more and both my husband and I agree we would return to this listing.

I’m late to post this, but our family of four, including two freshman college bound teens, absolutely loved our 5 night stay at the Elk Willow house on the Paul Ranch last summer! The location was unbeatable . It is a prime location for wildlife viewing right from the front porch , and convenient to Many Glacier and the East entrance to Glacier National Park. Our family loved having so much space to spread out and the tranquility of the ranch while still being close to everything that we needed. We made unforgettable memories here and hope to return one day.

I wish I could give these hosts 10 stars! They went above and beyond to make sure that we didn’t have any interruptions in our plans, but more on that later. The owners/hosts are close by., Everyone has their own space. The house is situated up on the hill, by a beautiful grove of aspen trees. Sitting on the porch in the evenings was very peaceful as you can just enjoy the birdsong and rustle of the aspens. The surrounding vistas were quite breathtaking.
The house itself had plenty of windows, lots of natural light. The bedrooms also had blackout blinds to block out the early summer sun (if you so choose). The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen utensils, pots & pans. A large damper on our plans had our hosts not been so resourceful & friendly. They were very helpful and accommodating to make sure that we didn’t have to cancel any of our plans. They referred us to an auto shop in Browning (just in case anyone else needs such services) that had us in and out within 30 minutes. Tire patched and ready to continue on with our explorations!
I would absolutely recommend staying here and I hope that when we next visit Montana we can stay on this property again. Simply wonderful!

The house had everything we needed and was very clean. The views are spectacular. It’s a bit remote but we enjoyed that. The property manager, Larry, was terrific — taking care of a burned out light bulb, chatting about life in northeastern Montana, and even calling me when I forgot a bag on the porch. We were thoroughly pleased that we choose to stay at Paul Ranch (the Elk Wilows site).

We enjoyed our stay at the Paul Ranch. Check in was smooth with the home ready at 3PM. The house was clean and was conveniently located 20 minutes away from the Many Glacier region of Glacier Nat’l Park. The first night we had issues with the washer not working and a clogged bathroom drain but both issues were resolved the next day (they replaced the washer). I really appreciate their prompt action. There were also beautiful views at sunrise and sunset.

The home in Paul's Ranch sits atop a hill with great views of sunsets and GNP mountains. Clean, comfy, and spacious home although dated decor like carpet in master bath. Great outdoor deck to view those sunsets and wildlife (we saw a bear ramble across the field and several elk). Check in was super easy and the property manager was prompt in responding. Only short 6-7 minute ride to Many Glacier road or 15 minutes to Going to Sun Road. Would stay here again for sure.

We loved the prairie to the mountains view of the property. The property is as advertised. Its location made travel to the Many Glaciers entrance and the Waterton National Park in Canada an ideal place from which to explore the two parks.

Loved our stay
Super easy checkin and check out. Owners checked in on us to see if we needed anything but because of the scarcity of wifi it was difficult to reach them. Luckily they provide so much in their home that there was nothing we really needed. The house was clean, secluded and spacious. Perfect for our family of six. The alpacas were an extra little treat to all the other wildlife we were able to see just on their property alone. Overall everyone loved their stay and I heard no complains aside from the mattresses in the “kids” room. But we had grown adults on those kid mattresses. Thank you a great place to enjoy Glacier.

Excellent stay at Paul Ranch
We stayed at Paul Ranch last week. It's a very nice property, with nice amenities and excellent location. We could see sunrise and sunset right from the dining table.
Only 15-20 minutes to St Mary entrance. Will highly recommend.

Top of the hill!
Elk Willows is located on the top of a hill just in front of a beautiful meadow and forest. Birds, deer, fox, bear - we saw them all, and heard a moose call as well. Very quiet, comfortable, and everything you need is provided. Hosts are very responsive. One of the best places we've stayed! Highly recommend!
