Guests raved about the cozy, welcoming homes with secure backyards for dogs, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchens, and excellent communication with the hosts. Perfect for relaxation and family getaways.

A cozy, welcoming and dog friendly home that was fantastic for our family. We cannot understate the importance of a totally secure backyard for our dogs, and this home was perfect! We could leave the dogs outside when we were out without worrying about them escaping. Inside, the home is beautifully presented, very clean and the beds were super comfortable! There is no dining table but we managed fine, and enjoyed the DVD collection. The host is friendly and responsive. Will definitely return!

We had a lovely weekend stay at the artist's summer house. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen is really well equipped, there was plenty of yard for our dog and it's well-located for shops, beach and the hot springs. Communications with Kay were easy and efficient. A lovely place overall.

We had such a lovely stay here with our two fur babies. Beautifully presented house with everything we needed. Very comfortable for the humans, and big backyard for the dogs to run around. Property owner was wonderful to deal with. Would definitely like to come back! Great location to explore the peninsula.

We loved this cute cosy beach house. We had a very enjoyable & relaxing family stay. Super location.
The kitchen was perfectly equipped for cooking breakfasts and dinners for our group of six. The backyard was great (loved by all of us especially our dog) and the large outdoor shaded table was also a winner.
The communication from Kay made everything so easy as well. Thanks Kay for a lovely week.

Though very clean & comfortable, the house is quite small for a family, with one living area and no proper meals area to enable the family to eat together, unless outside if the weather permits. The facilities are very clean and oozing with personality. WIFi and a smart TV would also benefit the property for when weather is bad. Kay was super helpful in addressing any problems and easily contactable. Great fenced yard for our small dogs.

Anniversary/greek Easter getaway
What a gem of a house. Cute, cosy and everything in between.
The kitchen is fully equipped as I made a lamb roast to celebrate our Easter with my family and the outdoor setting was perfect.
We then walked to the pier and strolled down the beach.
It was a perfect weekend getaway. Thankyou Kay for your efficient communication.

Had a wonderful stay
This was our first get a way since all the lockdowns and we could not have stayed in a better place. Excellent communication with Kay. We even experienced a small earthquake and she txt to see if we were ok.
The place was so comfortable. Everything we needed, was there. And it was so clean. The location was superb - very quiet surroundings. And close to the beach and shops.
Also we brought our little dog and we could leave her outside, with a peace of mind that she could not escape or go under the house. There was plenty of room in the back yard.
All in all we would highly recommend this place and we will be back for another stay

I received such great communication from the beginning of my enquiry right to the end of our stay.
Kay provided us with a very cosy home to live in while we explored the beach and surroundings.
The home was beautifully clean for our arrival and the perfect spot for us to relax together.
Will definitely stay again in the future.

Fantastic cottage
We had a lovely stay at the cottage and our two dogs absolutely loved the back yard and the walks down to the jetty. Kay was so easy to communicate with and she was thoroughly accommodating in every aspect of the stay. I can’t recommend enough and definitely look forward to staying again.

The moment you arrive you start to relax, Kay is amazing to deal with and nothing is too much bother, her communication is really good and she responds very quickly to any questions or requests. We are a family of five and have a dog and ended up taking an additional dog which the owner was very accomodating about. The house is compact but has a warmth and happiness to it and offers relaxation, with plenty of books to read or a piano to play. The property is very clean and during our 8 days not once did I need something that wasn't supplied which is actually a first. We also enjoyed the fact that we were close enough to walk or a short drive to the bars and cafes but far enough away to enjoy the peacefulness. We will definitely return and stay here again and if you are looking for a place with character and charm this would be an excellent option.

Awesome trip away
The house here is lovely and super well stocked. Very clean and welcoming. Quiet street.
Beds are comfortable, lots of books and dvds and kitchen facilities. Washer and dryer is very useful. The fridge is massive.
The yard is very secure and large which is great if you want to bring your dog.
I’d recommend Zarb for coffee, Jukes for fish and chips and Jetty pasta was yum although servings weren’t large.
Large playground down near the jetty. The dog beach is a drive but worth it for water dogs.

Great getaway!
We stayed 2 nights & couldn't have been happier. Kay's cottage is so charming. Set on a quiet street, a short drive from the waterfront & vineyards, and very comfortable. We were impressed with how clean the house is and appreciated the comfortable, quality linen & towels, and our kids loved the bunk beds and DVD collection! Kay is also very easy to communicate with & offered lots of recommendations to local wineries, restaurants and playgrounds. No wifi meant that we didn't spend any time on our devices and were able to really relax and unwind. Highly recommend booking this to enjoy your own family getaway!

Peaceful and pretty
The most gorgeous little house with loving, thoughtful and functional touches throughout. Once ensconced you could really be anywhere. Admittedly we were there in the off season but it was so quiet - wonderful. I miss the serene mornings from my bed in the front room already! As for my four-legged-friend, it was absolute bliss as the yard is so very secure; you can really relax.

A great getaway.
Took my 2 dogs down for a couple of nights and the set up was perfect. Nice quiet location and plenty of space for the dogs to explore in a well fenced outdoor area. Handy to all amenities.

Delightful house in Rosebud
Our family of 4 and cavoodle had a lovely long weekend break at the Summer House. The house was beautifully furnished, clean and inviting. Plenty of outdoor space for BBQs and for our puppy to play in. Easy walk to shops and beach. Absolutely recommend and would love to come and stay again. Kay, thank you so much for your hospitality and communication, including recommendations for activities and restaurants in the area.

Bohemian cottage perfect for a relaxed getaway
Beautiful period cottage in a wonderful part of the Peninsula. Convenient keyless entry ensured no lost keys!
The house was clean and well-presented: a wonderful bohemian vibe throughout featuring eclectic art and cosy touches such as premium fluffy towels. A well-equipped kitchen with contemporary fridge and appliances and plenty of tea and teacups (do look up to admire the period ceiling). My favourite space was the wonderful, peaceful sunroom - a great space for reading (books to be found all around the house), breakfast, and writing.
The sunroom looked out to the large, secure yard which our dog enjoyed. This area featured a BBQ and large outdoor dining area, and retained the artsy character of the interior.
The house is secluded from the quiet street by lush greenery, but only a short walk (and shorter drive) to the Rosebud shops and beach. Easy access from and to the M11 as well.
Our host Kay was thoughtful and hospitable at every step - providing excellent recommendations (we second coffee and jaffles at nearby cafe Zarb & Ru) and making us feel very welcome. We were close to wineries, beaches, markets, and great food.
My wife enjoyed only a brief stay, but we are keen to return. Note there’s no wifi in the house - but that really helped these two workaholics turn off for a couple of nights (well, let's be honest: helped keep work intrusions brief and limited to phones).

In this hidden sanctuary you will want for nothing. Sweet, quiet and quaint.
On my arrival to this sweet property I was overwhelmed with everything it has to offer. The furniture, period features and space will keep you smiling for your entire stay. Exceptional in every way - cleanliness, amenities and plenty of room for your fur babies to enjoy and run around. Only a short walk from the Rosebud Centre and beach, with the jetty close by as well. Kay’s (host) thoughtful touches were not unnoticed - coffee machine, varieties of tea, towels, soap and attention to detail will ensure a home-away-from-home stay. Kay is warm and wonderful and always available to reach out to. My dog and I will definitely return for another trip to this lovely home.

Clean and cosy
Lovely little cottage with everything we needed and our dog was well catered for also. I really like the inclusion of all linen and towels. Lots of other houses don't include this and I find it quite annoying. Kitchen has everything, there are numerous novels and dads to use. Great heating. Great backyard for the dog. Kay was easy and great to deal with. Highly recommend this house

Vintage delight magnificent atmosphere!
The moment we pulled into the drive way of this romantic little cottage with its welcoming fairy lights we knew we had picked a little piece of heaven!
Absolutely stunning in every way, clean , well equipped, and in the most central part of the peninsula , you cannot go wrong with booking this property.
Lovely owner was so kind and sweet, truly making us feel at home.
My husband and my toddler where just as entranced by the gorgeous architecture of this original rosebud cottage, and my dog loved the spacious backyard, with its lovely trees and inviting lawn.
Beds so comfy and soft, and even a piano and guitar for guests enjoyment! Put down your phone's, social media and immerse yourself in Olde world charm! Will be back as it took me back to my childhood growing up on the peninsula, thank you Kay!

Beautiful home!
The Artist Summer cottage was the perfect ‘home away from home’ experience for our family. The house was fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, multiple bathrooms and impeccably clean. Our host Kay was delightful! She gave many worthwhile recommendations of local activities, restaurants etc.. and was incredibly responsive to any questions regarding the property. We will happily return this beautiful home.

Charming house, close to everything
As a family we had a fantastic stay and found lots to do with the kids. Our dog loved the beach which was only 10 minutes walk away.
The house was charming, clean and well prepared and we wanted for nothing.
Kay was the perfect host giving us lots of useful tips before we went and many of them we followed.
We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it.

Gorgeous beach house
A gorgeous home, thoughtfully decorated and perfectly equiped. Walking distance to the beach and shops, and striking distance to the best the Peninsula has to offer - wineries, walks and beaches. Best of all, we could take our dog.

Relaxing homely retreat
We loved our stay at the summer house. The cottage is delightfully decorated and full of character. The cottage is immaculately cleaned with all the comforts of a modern home. The beds... So comfortable, made it difficult to relax in the garden with a cup of tea, or in one of the cozy couches.
The owner, was such a help, providing us with information about local activities and sights.
This home is a full package, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an escape. We will definitely be back!!!

We enjoyed staying at the Artists Summer House. The house is beautiful with impeccable taste and a delightful expetience. From the vintage furnishings and the quaint teacups and comfortable seating. The backyard and outdoor furniture was perfect as was the bbq and garden. The house was clean, light filled and spacious. And the wine and chocolates topped off our experience.

Excellent Location and great hosts
My kids, my mother and myself had a fantastic week staying in Artist's House.
We were pleasantly surprised at this lovely property. First of all, the location is excellent. The house is close to a main strip with its' restaurants, cafes and local stores.
In addition, going to the beach was an easy 15 minute walk. We walked everywhere all weekend.Throughout our stay Kay, the owner, was warm, friendly and went out of her way to meet our needs. I smsed Kay almost daily, and she kindly helped with everything we enquired about which made our stay comfortable and more enjoyable.
The house itself was clean, beautifully presented, neat and had everything we required for the stay. All the appliances were super handy. We also took advantage of the Nespresso coffee machine and laundry facilities. The beds were very comfortable. This place had everything we needed. Overall it was an amazing stay and we will DEFINITELY be back!!
