Our home offers families and couples or individuals older than 25 years old a great get away for a few days or the week during all seasons. (NO SENIOR WEEK/PROM WEEKENDS); Adults who deceptively choose to rent our home for those under the age of 25 will be charged the full $1500 security deposit fee and be evicted. We also have another property that allows us to keep an eye on our home.
This exciting and relaxing vacation awaits you and your loved ones in the less congested Northern end of Ocean City, NJ. It is conveniently located at the corner of Wesley and 1st, midway between the beach and the bay. Stroll down to the beach, visit the boardwalk with its shops and amusement/rides or play a round of mini-golf with the kids, see a show at the Music Pier, visit the quaint shops and eateries on Asbury Avenue. Walk to the bay and enjoy crabbing off the bulk heads, rent a jet ski or visit the nearby casinos or Cape May County Zoo. There is always something to do! Enjoy the abundance of sun and boardwalk activities all within a short walk while you reconnect with family and friends. The condo association does not allow renters the opportunity to bring pets along.

The Condo

This location features a renovated second floor condo in a home that has withstood the test of time and storms since 1929. It has a fully equipped over sized galley kitchen and plenty of modern amenities to enhance your stay. You will find yourself choosing between relaxing on the spacious shaded front porch or the spacious back sun deck. Either location is equipped for dining. So you can either start your morning with a good book and coffee on the front porch or after a short walk back from the beach your family can eat lunch on the back porch before finishing the day out on the beach. From the front porch to the rear deck our home offers a cozy comfortable space. Though the home retains some of its historical charm it is fully equipped with cable, wireless wifi, and smart TVs. We hope your family finds our home a place to relax and build memories.
This home is a smoke free environment.

Due to Corona-19 we have added an "Air Scrubber" to our central air system. The system allows for constant air purification and surface cleaning inside the home. We felt the obligation to do this since our home hosts different families week to week.

Upgrades:

Added this year on all bedroom full sized windows is not only the existing louver shades but Room Blackening Roller Shades. Great for sleeping in or children's nap times.

This property was nice a clean which is the first thing that we look for in a rental property. The space was plenty for our party of 4. The condo has all of the amenities that we needed for a week long stay (laundry, dishwasher, etc.). We especially enjoyed using the front porch. Nice comfortable furniture in the living room and dining room. The en-suite bathroom was tiny but serviceable and the hallway bathroom is a regular size. This was our first year staying in the northern part of Ocean City and we really enjoyed it. This location was noticeably quieter with less traffic than the central part of the island and the beach (8-10 min walk) is quieter than areas further south. Our host John was very responsive and nice to speak with! When the Wi-Fi went out he was troubleshooting within hours and immediately replaced the router. This property is highly recommended!

Loved everything about this condo. It was perfect for me, my husband & 2 kids. It was so clean & the decor is adorable. Condo is located between the boardwalk & the bay which was awesome. The owner was quick to respond to my questions. We had a great weekend.

The place is very nice- well stocked, clean, and comfortable. The hosts are responsive and were very helpful in answering any questions we had. The location is quiet and we loved being able to walk to the main part of the boardwalk. The walk to the beach was the only downside for us- with two kids and a lot of stuff, it was long but definitely feasible (just requires a little extra planning). Overall we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!

We had an amazing time at the "Hidden Gem". Check in was easy and the house was spotless upon arrival. The floor plan is open and airy with a great flow. The main area is flooded with natural light. Great beach feel and colors. Beds were very comfortable, showers had great water pressure and the kitchen was fully stocked. I loved having the washer and dryer in the unit. I was able to wash our sheets/towels before we left. I was there with 4 teenagers and felt felt very comfortable allowing them to walk to the beach/boardwalk by themselves. One turn and a quick straight walk to the beach. Very easy for them to navigate. Lots of places for kids to eat on the boardwalk. They definitely enjoyed themselves. We ran into John a few times during our stay. He was very helpful in loaning us another buggie so the girls could carry everything to and from the beach. The outdoor shower was great for them to shower in before entering the house. John and Cheryl are great hosts! Would definitely stay here again!

This was our second but certainly not last time staying here! Again, it was very clean, beautifully decorated, fully stocked with everything we needed, and very comfortable. The location is perfect, close to the boardwalk. Parking is easy, and it’s very safe and quiet. It’s starting to feel like our home away from home. John is great! We will definitely be back again. We are already looking forward to next time.

This is a really nice condo, lots of seating both in shade and sun! Fully equipped kitchen.We all thought the colours and decorations were spot on for a beach vacation place . You won't go wrong renting this place, it even has a washing machine and if you have kids lots of toys and books . The only thing was that not perfect was that street were parking spot is was a bit busy during week, weekend no issues .

The 3 bedroom house was perfect for 4 adults and a child with plenty of space to relax. I had toys and games for both adults and our 2 year old grandson to play with. From the moment we entered this property we were blown away(pardon the pun-it was the weekend Hurricane Ian remnants blew through!). From room-to-room, our exploration brought wows and "look at this!" from the four of us. The weather was not what we'd hoped but the house was all that and more. Our hosts anticipated every need guests might come up, from the extras in the bathroom cabinet, to an incredibly well supplied kitchen, to games and toys for those who may be staying with children. We didn't get to make use of the wonderful covered front porch or the deck due to the weather but loved the many windows letting in what natural light there was on this otherwise bleak weekend. The house is not too far a walk from the ocean for those of us who ventured out Saturday morning to take a look at the stormy sea and get a few fresh-made donuts from Brown's to take back to the house. Comfy beds, plenty of extra pillows and blankets if needed. We all agreed we'd like to book again next year! Thank you for sharing your home-by-the-sea with us :)

Everything was amazing! The property was located in right in the middle of the north end of town making everything an easy commute by foot or short drive. The host was very attentive and made sure we had everything for our stay. The extra little touches throughout the house were above and beyond our expectations! Lots of supplies provided as a curiosity plus well stocked with all the household needs making this vacation hassle free. 5 stars all around

John and Cheryl’s property is great! There were four of us in our group and the VRBO was extremely well stocked and clean. The location was awesome, walking distance to beach though we opted to drive and park. The mattresses could stand to be a little better, but if you’re going with kids or people with good backs, it’s fine. Really enjoyed our stay!
