We had a great stay. We would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay in this well-maintained cabin near Dahlonega. We liked the peace and quiet of this area, and had a great time on one of the many nearby hiking trails. Good meals with little-to-no-wait times at several restaurants within 15 minutes of the cabin.
The "rocky road" description is spot on - our SUV had no trouble, but I'd be a bit nervous about anything with lower ground clearance, especially in the rain.
Overall a terrific experience, and we'll look forward to returning in the future!

Everything was perfect! The hosts are kind and everything was as depicted on the site. If I’m in the area again I will definitely book this cabin again.

We had a great time staying here with friends. Was a nice central location to tour Dahlonega, Cleveland and Helen Georgia. We did some shopping and antique shopping. Our host recommended Montaluce winery and Italian restaurant for dinner and they were not wrong. It is highly recommended if you are in the area. We loved it.

We enjoyed Christmas holiday here

Clean and very well equipped. Christmas decorations were a surprise and we were very happy to see them. They made the place feel more like home. We didn’t really even want to leave to visit surrounding areas. Little gravel road to get there didn’t present any problems for us at all. Very relaxing and we enjoyed our stay so much!

I took my mom and adult daughters on a little get away. It rained the whole weekend but the cabin was so cozy and we enjoyed the time spent together. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful location and the cabin was very clean. Decorated lovely with great porches. Kitchen had everything we needed and check-in was a breeze. The road is gravel and had a few small bumps but nothing significant. Adds to the cabin experience! Would definitely stay here again!

We loved everything about the cabin in the woods except the rocky road. The cabin is wonderfully decorated. The kitchen has nearly anything you could need to cook. But, you need to plan your grocery shopping. The nearest real grocery store is about 20 minutes away.

The cabin was clean, nicely decorated and well appointed with everything we needed. It was centrally located to all our excursions. (Helen, Clarkesville, Daloenago, Dawsonville, Cleveland) We would like to have known that the road was gravel. The rain had left some erosion and little difficult to navigate in spots; but manageable.

The floor around the baseboards need cleaning..Tub in master bedroom needed to be wiped down from top to bottom. Toilet needed cleaning under the rim. We did enjoy our stay.

We were pleased with the location being between Dahlonega and Cleveland. Lots to see and enjoy when not at New River Park.
Layout was conducive for our late night get togethers. Breakfast at the cabin was really good and kept us in versus going out.

We had a wonderful time with our grandchildren, ages 5 and 7. Nature to explore and all amenities you need. Staying an extra night was easy and appreciated.

The highlights of our girl reunion this weekend was time spent at the cabin. Making dinner together, laughing over games, coffee or wine & appetizers on the deck (love those rockers!), figuring out the faucet to shower action, AND bringing the recliner back down from laid-back mode. The cabin was so cozy & comfortable! Also loved the location which was central to Dahlonega, Helen, and our day trip to Anna Ruby Falls. It was a perfect get-awa!

Absolutely wonderful location and surroundings. The Chiobos are extremely thoughtful in every level. The cabin is clean and very comfortable. We will mist definitely return. We go to northern Georgia every year and by far this was our best trip. I say that primarily for the location we loved Dahlonega. But just a important our hosts went far and surpassed all expectations.

Great location, close to beautiful scenery but far enough away for privacy. The property owners thought of everything to make us feel at home. Whimsical decor to make us smile and keep our moods light.

only 25 minutes both ways to Helen and or Dahlonega from the cabin. Many vineyards also within 30 minutes of the cabin.

If you want a nice quiet place to spend your vacation, then this is for you. The cabin is nestled in shady trees on a quiet gravel road with little to no traffic. Inside, the appliances are fairly new and all the furniture is comfy. In the late afternoon we enjoyed sitting on the covered porch in rocking chairs and enjoying the quiet view. The owners are very quick to respond and always answered my messages immediately. The check-in information was sent to me well in advance of my arrival and there were no problems at all. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and the relatives with us were celebrating their 57th one day after ours. The host was very gracious to have a decorated cake sent to the cabin upon our arrival, something entirely unexpected but something all 4 of us won't forget. I can't say enough about how beautiful and well furnished the cabin was and I have no reservations about recommending it. It is located a short drive between Helen and Dahlonega Georgia and both places offer shopping and food, Helen with its German theme and Dahlonega rich in gold mining history.

Great cabin, great location.
Beautiful cabin and property that is aptly named: Rocky Road Hideaway. Heading down the gravel road to the cabin transforms your stay and reminds you that you can "get away", even if only for a week or so.
The cabin is very nicely furnished and comfortable. It is centrally located for waterfall hikes, kayaking and horseback riding, as well as the usual Cleveland, Dahlonega and Helen "to do" list activities. We would definitely recommend a meal at Clyde's Table & Tavern (Cleveland) and Grapevines Italian (Dahlonega) and stop in at the Tomato House Butcher Shop & Deli, just down the road, for made-to-order sandwiches to take along on your day trips.
The fire pit is located in an uninviting location on the property. We did not use it all, even after bringing 4 night of firewood with us from Florida.
Great cabin, great location ... would definitely book it again.

We had a great time at Rocky Road Hideaway. The cabin was very cozy and with a fully stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the bbq and porch very much. It is in a private setting, which we loved, yet very close to most of the wineries and all the places we wanted to visit. Kristina was very responsive to our questions and was a great Host. We plan on returning!
