Good location
This house is in a good location but it is VERY DATED. It smells like a old house that has been shut up for a long time. It has rotting wood all around the house. It needs lots of love and up keeping.

Summer get away
We rented this house to get a summer getaway before we moved in to our house nearby. It was perfect. The landlords are great as well as the caretaker next-door. All the neighbors are friendly. A great place to stay and a great place to visit. Four blocks from downtown Beaufort a great walk. Highly recommend.

Nebraska Encounters Crystal Coast
This is a great property located just a few blocks from Front Street (Shops, restaurants, museum and fishing). Toby and his son, Chip made sure everything was perfect for our stay. We were greeted at the door with smiles, (even though it was pouring rain and our delayed flight made our arrival later than planned) and a run through of the house. After a quick trip to the grocery store (4 minutes away) we were able to eat on the deck every morning and a few early evenings. The patio offers relief from the sun in the early afternoon and gets a gentle breeze even when the wind is blowing up a storm. The house is big enough to give everyone (5 people, children ages 15, 18, and 21) some space at the end of a hot day and central air is refreshing. With two bathrooms w/ showers, it was easy to have everyone cleaned up quickly at night and the onsite washing machine and dryer allowed us to pack much lighter. There is a table in the kitchen but we used the patio more often. Everything worked in the kitchen as it should and the ice maker in the fridge worked great. The fridge is large enough to hold a week of breakfast and lunches allowing us to spend more on eating out at nearby restaurants in the evening. We were able to visit a new beach every day without driving more than 20 minutes. Atlantic Beach is less than 12 min. away and Ft. Macon Beach is 14 minutes. There are four public docks within walking distance. Our oldest son was able to catch pinfish, croakers and, with a little help from some locals, was able to land a small hammerhead shark. This is a great house in a great location and it was nice staying here. The locals are very friendly and they should be proud of their great town. We can’t wait to return and will definitely be staying at “Emma’s Resort”. Thank you Toby and Chip for making this the best vacation ever!

It was like staying at my grandmother's house. Charming and comfortable, this 3 bedroom 2 bath home has a well equipped kitchen, big master bedroom/bath and covered carport. Great deck! The well groomed yard is large- perfect for outdoor games. The management by father and son worked well. If the father was not available, his son promptly responded. We hope to return next summer.

Great house!
We had a great time at this house! We Walked to front street, where there are restaurants and shopping. The house was the right size for our family to be together but also have our own space! The owners are a great Christian family and really want you to enjoy your time!

Wonderful “home away from home”
This home worked great for our family. It was very clean and provided plenty of room. The owners are awesome, their son even called the second day we were there to make sure everything was okay. The location is within minutes of Atlantic Beach and Morehead. We were able to walk to the Farmer’s Market Saturday morning. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thanks!

Neighbor
Great home . Old , classic and a great location close to everything from Beaufort to Morehead City to Atlantic Beach . The next door neighbor doesn't have a bedtime and talks late into the night along with playing the radio . One night til near 1 am . This is just to make folks aware and no offense to the owner at all who we found very pleasant .

Beautiful Beaufort Stay
Emma's Resort, Casa De Agua, is a delightful home in a quiet neighborhood that is an easy walk to downtown Beaufort. The owners are great communicators and answered all our questions promptly. The home is well stocked with all essentials and we especially enjoyed sitting outside on the deck, which overlooks an expansive backyard. There were only 2 of us for this trip, but the master suite is separated from the other 2 bedrooms and bath by a comfortable seating area, kitchen and dining room, making this home perfect for larger groups. During season, Beaufort's farmer's market (Saturday mornings) is a short stroll away and offers a chance to purchase locally grown food and interesting souvenirs.
For those who desire a peaceful place to stay while enjoying Beaufort's many delights, Casa De Agua is highly recommended!

A Home Away From Home - Warm & Welcoming Feeling From The Moment You Walk Through The Front Door
Our family looked for 4 solid days to find a location to stay in the area to attend our Son's wedding shortly after the hurricane had came through and there had been so much devastation to so many areas. After the owners of this property read of our situation they went above and beyond to help make our stay for our family everything it possibly could be. The owners who live 3 hours away were both there on location to meet and great us and hand over the keys when we arrived, there son who lives out of state in Illinois made several calls to us to make sure everything was ok with the home and if we needed anything. This is a thoughtful and loving Christian Family and they truly went above and beyond to prepare some damages in the home prior to our arrival just so we would all have a place to stay. The house itself was perfect, not only did we make new friends in meeting the owners, but we will be returning to Emma's Resort, Casa De Agua in Beaufort, NC. **The Price Family - From Virginia***

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. It is conveniently located near the Beaufort Waterfront, and not too far from Morehead City, Atlantic Beach, and Pine Knoll Shores. The house was well-stocked with all the appliances, utensils, pots and pans you need to make a fabulous meal. The sheets on the beds were incredibly soft and comfortable. If we are ever in Beaufort again, we would love to stay here again.

My family rented this cute house for our too short visit to the area. The owners are super nice and it was great to meet them. I've never met an owner of any other house we've rented over the years. That experience adds a personable touch.
The house was clean and perfect size for my family. We have 3 kids.
The house is convenient to area attractions and easy to find.
I definitely recommend this place!

We had a delightful time in this cottage and the Mary and Toby were wonderful. It was conveniently located to restaurants, tours and shopping.

First off, a great deal, close to Morehead City and Atlantic Beach.
Walking distances to Beaufort attractions including daily trips by boat to Shackleford Banks and ferry to Cape Lookout. Restaurants like the Finz and Spouters Inn are walking distance also.
Very clean home and great hosts, Mr. Toby goes out of his way to make you feel home. You'll definitively hate leaving.

Our family enjoyed an extended weekend in Beaufort and we were quite comfortable in Casa De Agua. Yes, this property is an older home, but it had all the things we needed to make our stay satisfying.
Mr. & Mrs. Fenderson were wonderful owners to work with and their place was very clean and cozy. They provide nice linens, towels and many extras you don't always find in rentals, such as paper towels, soap at each sink, laundry products and personal touches that make you feel like you're at home and not in a plain hotel room. Beds and furnishings were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked for making breakfast before heading out to sight-see and go to the beach. Location is close to everything we wanted to do. The grand kids loved Radio Island and the ferry trip to Shackleford Banks. There are sidewalks in this friendly neighborhood which was great to take kids on stroller walks. We also enjoyed checking out the farmers market on Saturday morning, which was practically across the street.
Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Fenderson, for a great stay in your home.
