"Almost Seaside," decorated in the style of Seaside, Florida with bright sunny colors and a fantastic lakefront setting. The best location on Cedar Creek Lake, on open water on the sunset viewing side of the lake within 5 minutes of the restaurants and shops of Gun Barrel City, less than 80 minutes from Dallas and within 30 minutes of First Monday in Canton.

This spacious 2,800-sq.-ft.4-bedroom home comfortably sleeps 10 with 3 queen-size beds, 2 full-size futons, 2 full baths, and 2 separate living areas.

The boathouse has an upper party deck perfect for watching the gorgeous sunsets, or relax in the shade of towering trees on the back deck or the upper balcony.

Indoor and outdoor dining tables each accommodate 10, with everything you need in the fully appointed kitchen.

My friends and I had a nice weekend getaway at this house. It looked just like the pictures and had everything we needed to be comfortable and to make all our meals. My favorite part was sitting on the lawn chairs on the second story deck during sunset.

My adult son, daughter and law and I stayed over the weekend. Very nice. Home is beautiful and we liked that rooms were separated from upstairs and downstairs. The living areas were big and comfortable. We played some of the board games the owner had left. Due to very hot weather, we didn't spend much time outside but they do have a beautiful property.

We full enjoyed our stay. The house was spotless and accommodated our group of 10 perfectly. We brought our own boat and the dock was was already occupied with a boat so space down at the lake front was limited. Overall good time.

LOVED the house! House decor was super cute with all the colorful fish and beach vibes! Right on the lake. We all went fishing off the dock and caught some catfish. Every one had a great time. House was clean, spacious, with plenty of seating and sleeping space. Had everything we needed!! (except bug spray lmao) Was in the area for an event this weekend and this was the perfect spot to come back to and relax! Lovely neighborhood, lovely back yard and amazing wrap around porches with awesome views! A FANTASTIC place to go to when needing to get out of the big city! Also, multiple people getting ready for our event and the showers never ran out of hot water!!! ❤️ Always a plus! My only complaint which has nothing to do with this property or it’s owners is that the neighbor is currently doing some type of construction in their back yard and would start the power tools around 7-8am during the weekend, and the other neighbor was doing yard work with a loud lawn mower today which all had me awake pretty early my entire stay... kinda annoying for me, my friends slept right through it though... but at least being there was pleasant enough to where I didn’t mind being awake!! Just kinda tired. Other than that it was generally really quiet. I rate it a 9.8/10 and would 1000000000% rent it again if in the area!!!!! Owners, Thank you so much!!

We stayed here for Thanksgiving and had a great trip. The house is roomy and the kitchen had everything we needed for our feast. Plenty or towels, bedding and games. The only thing we would change is the wifi is not consistent and there is only 1 TV with a few stations.

My family and I had a great time despite the weather. Everyone kept raving about how nice and roomy it was. Kitchen was stocked well enough to compliment a basic grocery trip. My only suggestion would be to add a table on the top of the lake deck.

Our family had an amazing weekend here, size was perfect, there was space to have a moment to yourself with different sitting areas, decks & a nice shady outdoors, plenty of seats. Kids enjoyed having their own room with the futons. Bedrooms & beds were comfy, the decor really made you feel like you were on vacation. 2 A/C units really helped with the Texas summer heat. Kitchen was fantastic size for family meals & cooking. We had issues with our own boat and Bill was kind enough to let us hang at the property until we could get a resolution figured out & put us in touch with his boat mechanic. Kids caught (& released) catfish off the dock, adults lazed in the shade. The inside was super clean, tidy, & fresh, linens all perfect. Outside could've done with a good sweeping for cobwebs, spiders and cicada shells/ skins but it certainly would not deter us from staying there again. Close to town/ Main Street, quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors on both sides. All excellent. Thanks Bill for sharing your home.

10 of us met at this beautiful vacation home for a mini 42 year high school “reunion!” We enjoyed the comfy beds, unique and lovely detailed decorating, and spacious kitchen SO much!!! The interior of the house is clean and freshly updated. Very nice! Convenient access to the boat ramp and on water fuel for watercraft. Great accommodations for family with kids as there are separate living rooms up and down. The owner is very easy to work with and seemed to be available to answer all question instantly! Only word of caution, if you tie your boat up to the end of the dock, make sure you bring plenty of bumpers to tie to the dock. On busy days, the water can get very rough but with the bumpers we used, we had no issues.

We will be back!

This is as a great home for our large family. It had everything we needed. The table was large and great for the many games we played. The house was at the perfect location on the lake. Close by to berthing!!! We passed up other homes on this site that were larger due to the decor and feeling we got from looking at the pictures. It was even cuter in person. This will be the only home we rent while visiting in the future. We will be back and often!!!

We visited for weekend with 10 in our group. This house was spacious and we never felt cramped. 2 living areas was great for kids/teens to have their own space. Slept upstairs and bed was comfy. Owners were great about communicating. We really liked the large table because we all sat together for meals. Backyard was mostly shaded which was great in the Texas heat. Neighbors are right next door but that was not an issue. My favorite feature was the views of the sunset from either upstairs or down, it was a great end to our day. I would stay here again, especially in the fall.

A lovely Thanksgiving

Our family enjoyed Thanksgiving at this charming lakehouse. Plenty of room, well-stocked kitchen (the knives could use some sharpening, but we cooked two huge meals and that was the only negative), fun/happy decor, great beds with wonderful sheets, clean, lots of great lighting throughout, beautiful view of the lake. Our granddaughter loved the ducks! The only TV is upstairs--Netflix but no cable so we had to watch our college football game on the iPad, which turned out OK because the WiFi is great--very robust!! Sleeps 10 very comfortably but there's really only 3 actual bedrooms. (The "4th" is the TV room with futons.) 5 stars. We loved it! You won't be disappointed.

Well laid out home for a great weekend at the lake. Very close to Brookshires and a Wal Mart for anything you forgot. Not the most ideal for toddlers based on elevation changes throughout the property, but great for everyone else. Very helpful and responsive owners.

A great weekend away in a fantastic home

My family and I had a great time staying at this house for the weekend. When we arrived we found a spacious home with enough room for everyone to do just the right amount of relaxing. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare and enjoy some family dinners. The back yard offered an amazing view of the sunset on the lake. Our kids enjoyed the selection of games and even played a couple classics for the first time. We had a great time and made some great memories. Thanks! john
