About this house rental

Rebuilt in 2015, this beautiful and well-appointed home is steps from Funland and the boardwalk, in the center of everything, and boasts 9 bedrooms, 6.5 baths, and all the amenities that a large extended family requires. Come make your vacation memories with us!

A screened porch with colorful adirondack chairs welcomes you into the great room with an inviting fireplace, living room, large open kitchen and dining room. Enjoy family movies on the 60" Smart HDTV with extended Comcast HD Cable TV service, or via login to your own streaming account.

The first floor is also home to a ADA master bedroom suite and a 2nd MBR suite with grab bars, a powder room, and a laundry/mud room leading to the backyard and outside shower.

The second floor boasts 6 more bedrooms (2 Kings, 2 twins that can push together, and 3 Queens) and 4 baths. Three of the bedrooms have views of the ocean and Funland.

On the third floor, a bonus room provides excellent views of the ocean as well as a playroom for the children, and also has three days beds with three pull out trundles, for a total of 6 beds.

All mattresses are new and are made of high-density memory foam, which is naturally anti-microbial and provides excellent support and comfort.

The driveway provides off-street parking for three full size vehicle. In addition, there is one reserved parking spot on the street.

Please note that bed linens, towels, paper products, soap products, and trash bags are not included. Guests must bring their own, or arrange for linen rentals from a local vendor.

Accessibility notes: The City of Rehoboth provides free beach wheelchairs from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. starting May 28th through September 25th. The closest storage shed is located on the beach at Laurel Street, to accommodate your needs. Wheelchairs are provided on a first come, first served basis. You will need to provide your name and cell phone number when checking out a beach wheelchair. For more information please call Rehoboth Beach Patrol. Ramps and wheelchairs in the off-season are available for rent through Grand Rental.n

Occupancy: The Residential Rentals Ordinance also regulates occupancy limitations that are permitted to be maintained for each property. The occupancy shall not exceed two persons per bedroom plus an additional two persons. Children six years of age or younger are not included in the occupant count. Over occupancy is a violation of the rental agreement and cause for termination of the lease.

Church groups, Registered volleyball and baseball teams and their chaperones, and birthday parties for AARP members welcome.

Please read our reviews. Our cleaning team continues to an exceptional job and follows CDC guidelines including high touch areas and airing out the house. We are never able to accomodate early check ins between Memorial Dayband Labor Day.

We highly recommend CFAR- cancel for any reason trip insurance that is available from a variety of sites.

Location is amazing - steps from beach, Funland and food. Large common area, great kitchen with two dishwashers and tons of bedrooms and bathrooms for large family groups. Porch is also a great way to enjoy the property. Have stayed several times over the years and will keep coming back!

House accommodates a large, extended familly, and is very well equipped. It is right next to the boardwalk and beach, directly across the street from Fun Land, and a short stroll to restaurants and ice cream nightcaps.

Excellent. Fully equipped kitchen. The handicap accessible bedroom and bath was wonderful. 13 of us. Plenty of room to spread out. Smallest grandchildren loved the 3rd floor. We spent a lot of time on the large screened porch. Didn't use the back yard. Lots of mosquitoes. Is a nice area with picnic tables and grill. Having 2 refrigerators was nice. Loved the open concept. Kitchen, dining and living room was one large open room. . Only negative ice maker was not working.

One block from the beach and right across the street from Funland, it doesn’t get better than that! The many bedrooms and bathrooms and the double appliances- two microwaves, two refrigerators, and two dishwashers-make this a terrific house for family reunions. The beach chairs and boogey boards are an added perk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This house is a dream! It's quite spacious, has beautiful rooms and bathrooms, tons of amenities, and is in an ideal location. The house was spotless when we moved it, and both the check-in and check-out process were smooth sailing. I loved having so much space in the house, the double refrigerators, the porch to enjoy the scenery, and the backyard to grill in. This is just such an ideal house and location. Thank you to the owners for making our time there so wonderful and our communications so easy and simple. This is truly an incredible house.

Our family long weekend stay was fantastic. This is a nice house in amazing location near Funland. The teens were able to go down to FunLand and Zelkys Arcade all weekend long. It’s a quick 2 block walk to the main Rehoboth road where we had dinner for the 14 of us both nights. Owners were great and communication between us was quick. Would definitely recommend and go back to.

Group of friends celebrating a 50th. Perfect first floor space our 10-12 people to gather in the open kitchen and have drinks around the tv. Can’t even count home many bedrooms but all were more than spacious and clean. Would be good for family gatherings as well with Funland just down the block. Central to everything

We are LGBTQIA social action group and this was a chance to reflect on how we are doing and what we want our future to be. The house was an ideal setting. We could get out on the boardwalk and beach. We were a family group of 11 adults and one toddler. There is plenty of room for larger groups, but for a family gathering of our size, it was perfect with everyone having their own rooms and only a few sharing hallway bathrooms.The location was fantastic--Just steps to the Boardwalk and only two blocks from the center of town. The house was clean and well supplied. We knew in advance that linens were not provided and we chose to bring our own sheets and towels. I'd probably rent linens in the future and bring kitchen towels and bath mats.

We have had the pleasure of staying in this property for many years, each one being better than the last. The home has some thing for everyone. From an inviting screened porch to essential backyard showers, the Waddell residence is a joy for all who are fortunate enough to be able to spend time here. Parking is more than plentiful, so you can just leave your auto and enjoy restaurants, boardwalks, and all sorts of entertainment. A true jewel?

We had the best time and we loved the setup of the house and the proximity to the boardwalk for morning walks and scooter/bike rides. We hope to come back! The house was beautiful, exactly like the pictures. It accommodated all 10 of us plus my 1 yr old perfectly. Excellent location and everything was laid out exactly like Chris & Rachel said, easy check-in and checkout. I’d love to stay there again! Great location. Chris was great in responding and providing information. Little pricey for a less than 2 days and a cleaning fee at about the same cost as one night. Shower curtain on first floor is too short so water went all over the floor. We cleaned it up and made sure there were towels down anytime anyone used the shower. We did not cook or eat there so we did all dishes by hand. Upon departure, I checked dishwasher and found moldy disgusting dishes. They had been there a long time so not sure what cleaning service was used or why / if previous tenants did not run the washer.

This large home was perfect for our large group of 19 adults. It was clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Everyone said all the beds were comfortable as well. You can’t beat the location! Very easy access to the boardwalk and beach! You won’t regret your stay here!

The location is wonderful! We were happy that at least 50%? of the businesses were open in the winter. Everything is within walking distance, the beach, the boardwalk and the shops. Tanger outlets were a short drive away. The house was perfect for our large family. We were worried that there was only one big family living area, but it worked out perfectly because it forced us all to stay together. The owner is very responsive. I would suggest buying a large frying pan for the house. We would definitely stay there again!

This was our second stay. Same great property, same fantastic help and communication by Chris. One thing I didn’t notice the first time, but was commented by many people this time, was just how good the rooms are at keeping outside noise out. Some in our family are light sleepers and with young kids in the house, you always worry about noise pollution. Not a problem at this property at all.

This is at least the third time we've stayed in this house. It is conveniently located minutes from the heart of town and steps from the boardwalk/beach. Rachel was on top of communication and responded quicky to any questions we had. I can't imagine anybody being disappointed with their stay here.
