This terraced, contemporary holiday property is located on the exclusive South Snowdon Wharf development in Porthmadog, and has lovely views out over the end of the famous Ffestiniog Railway to the boats moored in the harbour. As the tide rises and falls the ever-changing vista is utterly compelling, and the balcony is just the spot to most appreciate the view with a glass of wine or an al-fresco dinner.
The little steam trains of the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway provide great entertainment as they bustle off on their spectacular journeys to either Blaenau Ffestiniog or Caernarfon. A short stroll takes you into the town centre, which offers a great choice of places to eat and drink. The picturesque Italianate village of Portmeirion, designed by Sir Clough Williams Ellis, is well worth a visit, as is the glorious sandy beach at Black Rock Sands; perfect bucket and spade territory or if you fancy, a paddle in the sea. Meanwhile, Blaenau Ffestiniog is an adrenaline junkie’s delight with Zip World, the largest zip wire zone in the world, Bounce Below, where you can bounce on trampoline nets deep underground in an old slate cavern, or the Stiniog downhill mountain bike trails. Beach 2 miles. Shop and restaurant 200 yards, pub 50 yards.
