Wonderful time and well appointed cabin with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The game room was great to get a break from the kids!

My family of five plus in laws had a wonderful and relaxing vacation on cold stream pond. The house had everything we could have wanted. The close proximity to the lake allowed for plenty of swimming kayaking paddleboarding and fishing. Would definitely recommend to those seeking an outdoor retreat in rural Maine.

Quintessential lakefront getaway
A perfect combination of pine-needle covered walks to a sparkling clean lake, canoes and kayaks at the ready, and a wood paneled cabin with sleeping loft (and foosball on the lower level)! We all made great memories here!

Better than the photos
Gary’s communication was responsive and he took genuine interest in making sure we had everything we needed. The property is even better than the photos depict. Luckily the week we stayed at the cabin, the weather was on our side and the lake was calm.

Lakefront Tranquility
From start to finish, Gary was easily reachable and very prompt in answering any questions we had. The property overlooking the water was right out of a magazine. Between fishing, canoeing, fire pitting, and kayaking, our families had endless entertainment. We were lucky enough to see some shooting stars on the clearer nights. We were looking for something from our usual shore vacation and it delivered!!

Unforgettable Stay!
We just arrived home after spending a week at Gary's beautiful lakefront property! The home was more than we could have imagined in terms of cleanliness, space, and of course, the views could not be beat! We were a party of 2 adults in our mid-30s, our parents, and our 3 year old son. We rented both the main house and apartment over the garage so everyone could have their own space and it worked out perfectly!
The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, cutlery, spices, pots/pans, all linens/towels included, and what we were most excited about was the use of the boats, life jackets, and backyard lake oasis. We spent our days alternating between taking day trips to Bangor, Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park, Treworgy Orchards, and swimming in the unbelievably crystal clear water and family kayak/canoe trips around the expansive lake.
Both the main house and apartment have all modern amenities in terms of TVs and fast WiFi, - Gary did not miss a beat when planning the property! Gary was super responsive when we had questions and checked in on us throughout the week to ensure we were all comfortable.
We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful respite away from the daily hustle and bustle - families of all ages will love it! Thank you Gary - your home will always have a special place in our hearts.

Couldn’t have been happier with the place. I’m originally from the area and had such a great time. We already booked for 2022.

Perfect Getaway
All the charm and amenities! Beautiful view of the lake . It was so nice to sit on the wooden swing chair and gaze over the gorgeous water. The house was perfectly decorated and equipped with books. Movies, games and DISH tv. The owner called upon arrival to make certain all was as we had expected.

Excellent stay
We had an absolutely excellent time! It was great to be able to stay at Gary’s place the majority of the time and use the boats, swim, and just enjoy the serenity. Gary communicated throughout the process and was swift at getting back to us with anything we needed. I know I will go again!

Another family vacation in the books...Breathtaking, Comfortable, Hospitable, and more!
My experience from beginning to end was 5 star. Gary, the owner, was quick to respond, friendly, and welcoming.
The house is represented well in the photos, until you get there. The place was immaculately clean with all the comforts of home. The beds are so comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked with all the gadgets that one would need, the property was absolutely beautiful. We opted to get the newly refurbished rooms above the garage, so glad we did. Custom cabinets, beautiful flooring, the bed was amazingly comfortable, it was our oasis.
The lake was crystal clear, and not too cold. With the rental came the use of several canoes and kayaks with your own private dock. The decking by the dock was so inviting with the colorful (and comfortable) seating and flowers. I whiled away many hours there taking it all in. My husband fished quite a bit with some good luck.
You can tell that a lot of care is taken in this home. Wonderful people sharing their wonderful home. I feel very lucky to have been able to share this experience. I have rented multitudes of homes in the same price range, and this is by far the best house we have ever stayed in. We will be back if they'll have us.

Everything we expected and more ! !
As experienced travelers we were very happy with our stay. The photos did not do justice to this lovely well equipped "5 Star" home and property. Gary is also a "5 Star" Owner. Everything was as described and he contacted us as we checked in to make sure everything was o.k.
Everything was spic and span and we enjoyed every moment of this stay. A great experience and looking forward to our stay next year.
Thanks Gary
Steve and Rose N.

Family Vacation
Wonderful cottage on our favorite lake anywhere! The cottage and the additional ‘apartment’ provided a great setting for a family vacation with our adult children. The accommodations were excellent!!!!

Cold Stream Pond- 5 Stars all around
This is our fourth time renting this property and we are just as impressed as year 1. It is a perfect family retreat, with every detail thought of. The owners are very responsive, and the location couldn't be more beautiful. We are already looking forward to next year!

Beautiful, spacious cabin right on the lake!
When Rob and I arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to see this beautiful lakefront cabin! It is spacious enough for a large family, and it has everything you need to feel right at home. Gary has furnished this cabin with beautiful rustic furniture, antiques, interesting knickknacks and artwork. We loved the rustic bedroom set and dining room set!
The kitchen was equipped with all the cooking utensils, appliances, etc., you need to make your own meals there.
There were kayaks and canoes for us to use, but because it was late in the season, unfortunately, the dock had already been taken out. I bet it is fun in the summertime by the water! Cold Stream Pond is a very large lake, as we would call it in Wisconsin, and the water is crystal clear.
This cabin is centrally located, so Baxter State Park was about a 45-minute drive from there, and Acadia National Park was just under two hours away, two of our absolute must-see designations while we were visiting Maine.
There were a few issues with the cabin upon arrival, and Gary was very attentive and quick to respond to our concerns. Would I come back again? Absolutely, yes! I would love to bring my whole family here!

This is Maine is all about
My grandparents had a place on Cold Stream and my visits there are among the fondest of my childhood. Those are big shoes to fill, so to speak, but our annual visits to Webb Cove have come through every time. Love the house, great location, enjoy the swimming and just spending leisurely afternoons by the water.

what a wonderful home
We stayed at this home for 4 months over the winter as we had business to do in the area. The house was great, so comfortable and decorated to feel like a home not a cold impersonal rental!! The owner Gary was absolutely super keeping in touch with us throughout our stay yet without being buggy. We had time to ice fish on the lake and enjoy the rural nature of the surrounding area with walks and also four wheeling for miles. What a great place, I would highly recommend it and if we ever needed a place to stay in the area, Gary would be the first person I would call!!!
