Had a lovely holiday, touch and go whether we were able to go after lockdown but so good to get away
Had a lovely holiday, touch and go whether we were able to go after lockdown but so good to get away and everything was so nice. The bungalow itself was comfy and well equipped and there was a very large garden with chairs and table where we were able to sit out in the sunshine. The dog loved the garden too. Well placed for visits to the coast and also the New Forest.

Another great welcome from Kelvin and Danielle.
Another great welcome from Kelvin and Danielle. Lovely log fire and great thick towels. Lots of good walks for Peppa (our Boxer) who loves the place and settles really well. Really good base for local area.
Not a criticism but would benefit from swapping out the 2 seater sofa for 2 high backed chairs for the older generation.

We had a fantastic week at West View, despite the weather.
We had a fantastic week at West View, despite the weather. The games room was a brilliant addition to our holiday, it kept the boys ( 4years and 11 years) and us, entertained during the quiet moments.
It has a lovely sized, enclosed, safe garden; perfect for all those games of football, rugby and rounders. Bentley the dog adored it.
The location was quiet and relaxing, up the long driveway from the main road. The cottage was spotlessly clean with plenty of room and comfortable beds. An excellent time was had by all, we will be making a return visit.

Super time in a very good, comfortable and well thought out bungalow.
Super time in a very good, comfortable and well thought out bungalow. It was our third visit and we had just as good a time as our previous visits. Everything you could want, with the games room and the games console a bonus! Very clean and the welcome pack was gratefully received. We particularly enjoyed watching the local birds and wildlife in the garden, from the comfort of the sofa in the front room. A great time had by all!

We enjoyed every moment of our stay at West View.
We enjoyed every moment of our stay at West View. The cottage was warm and cosy and
spotlessly clean. The bird feeders outside the window were an added bonus and kept us entertained with such birds as nuthatch and woodpecker,as well as all the finch and tit family.
There was a TV in every bedroom and the games room was superb, but as there was only two of us,we didnt use it,but would like to return with our grandsons one day !
We just missed the daffodils being at their best, but could see they had been magnificent.
Kelvin made us feel very welcome and it was good to know he was just up the drive had there been any problems. A perfect holiday home in beautiful Dorset,we hope to return before too long.

Very clean, relaxing cottage
We are a family of 4 (2 energetic boys 7&10) and a small dog. Our main priority for this weekend break was to relax and not do very much. The cottage provided us with the perfect base to do just that. A lovely log fire for me, games room and large garden for the boys and technology for my hubby, big field for dog walks. We visit Dorset a lot and this is the perfect location to do everything (assuming you want to do stuff!). 20 mins drive to sandbanks and some lovely harbour walks. 20 mins to the new forest. Or do as we did and just stay in and enjoy some family time. This was the cleanest cottage we have stayed in! I’ve never seen such a spotless bathroom in a holiday rental. Which made it even more relaxing for me. Would stay again and will definitely recommend to others.
