Beach home in excellent location on the beautiful sandy beach in Del Mar within walking distance to many restaurants, shops and the village. This location is right on the sand. Exquisite sunsets, dolphin/whale watching, surfing, swimming or just relax on the beach. 3 bedroom, 2.25 bath (outside shower from the beach) with outdoor deck, lots of parking (2 car garage & 2 outside parking spots), completely furnished and equipped with kitchen utensils, linens, washer/dryer, etc. Ready for your fantastic vacation upon your arrival.

My family really enjoyed staying at this comfortable and spacious beach house. Del Mar has one of the nicest beaches in San Diego, and we were fortunate to experience it for a weekend.

You really cannot beat the location, and the place is spacious and comfortable. As other reviewers have said, the furnishings are dated, but its such a lovely place to be that doesn't really distract from the stay. Also there was a very generous amount of beach chairs, towels, etc. available to use.

We had a wonderful week! The property is incredibly well located--short walk to water's edge, near Powerhouse Park for concerts, close to restaurants and Old Del Mar town center. House has lots of beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas for comfortable stay on the beach. Can beat the view!

My husband and I, along with our dog, enjoyed our stay in this cozy California beach rental. We were all comfortable and had everything we needed. The beach location cannot be beat. Ralph was responsive to my questions and accommodating. He gave us an earlier check-in time which was so nice. We were checked in and enjoying the beach by 11am on our first day.

Location, location, location! This rental has it all, it’s absolutely wonderful. Right on the beautiful beach of Del Mar, close to town, the park, and restaurants. We walked Miles in both directions on the white sand. Sat on the deck and ate breakfast. Lunch and dinner. The views and activities of Del Mar are priceless, and no better place to view it from here. Can’t wait to go back.!

The property location is perfect. The home is spacious and everything you need is right there. We had a great time running and walking on the beach. Ralph was also very helpful and responsive with any and all issues that arose. The pictures are accurate regarding the furnishings. The inside is dated but it works great as a family beach pad.

Property right on the beach near Del Mar village. Great location. The place was spotless when we arrived. The inside is a bit aged, but all works just fine. I didn't like the 8:30am checkout time. The VRBO listing leaves one to believe that you have the whole building, but you only have the top floor. It had all the rooms it advertised, but it surprised us that we had downstairs neighbors. I thought VRBO advertised that you never share a location... In any case, it was clean, easy, right on the beach, and walking distance from lots of stuff to do. Thanks to the hosts so much. Gary

Need to inform guests of being on 3rd floor!!’ Also must designate each stair as they were all black carpeted and two of my guests fell. Very dangerous. Information showed there was a dvd player and there was none.

Amazing location! Upper unit of property so some stairs. Clean, tidy, and stocked; if you need can opener maybe bring your own, one there of course, but difficult to get clean open can. Loved loved our family trip celebrating a 50th birthday, so much space and if I didn’t say so the location is AMAZING! Unit was clean and didn’t mind carpet throughout, you are at the beach! Thank you!

Of course the location cannot be any better! It is hard to keep a beach front property in top shape but the kitchen could use some upgrades. But everything worked!! Had a small issue with the master bath faucet but the owner was on it immediately. Loved sitting on the deck .... plus the large garage and two extra parking spaces was especially nice in this very busy part of Del Mar.

We had a restful and enjoyable birthday weekend in Del Mar together! The location was amazing. We were comfortable and the house had everything we needed (and then some) we made friends with the renters downstairs and the neighbors. The best thing about this rental is location! We will return 💫

Rented for Christmas week - house is very spacious and had everything you need! My favorite spot was on the deck facing the ocean and watching the surfers. Nothing like staying directly on the beach! Long walks daily - bummer that Poseidon was closed it’s one of our favorites. Would definitely recommend and I plan on returning!!

The location cannot be neat. Just steps from Jake’s and the Poseidon restaurants- great to watch the sunset. The property manager was great. Very responsive and easy to work with. You are paying for the location. The hosuse is very tired and dated. That being said it is very spacious and has everything you will need for a very enjoyable stay- towels, beach chairs, etc. it is very well priced for similar beach front rentals.

Location and access to the beach was primo. House was big enough for multiple people. Bedrooms, bathrooms, and living area were adequate. Kitchen needs work! Overall, disorganized, cluttered, and dirty. Needs some major deep cleaning. I expected better for the cost. My first time using VRBO. I think I'd like to look at the property first next time and not rely on pictures.

The house was not ready for our 1PM check in. House needs some repair. Kitchen cabinets and drawers are falling off. Front door knob is in need of repair. Very comfortable beds and bedding.

This location is an upstairs home that is one of the best locations in Del Mar. It is right on the beach and literally a short walking distance to many of Del Mar's great restaurants. The home is very well supplied with most every amenity a guest and family would expect, including a variety of beach activity "toys". The best description of this home is that it is family friendly and very beach comfortable. The private deck offers unparalleled views in all directions and you can spend hours relaxing on it. The bedrooms are all good size and the master is large with its own full bathroom. The living room is very family oriented with a large comfortable sectional sofa and two seating dining tables all if which have magnificent ocean views from the floor to ceiling windows that span the entire ocean front of the home. There is a tandem two car attached garage as well as 2 additional drive way parking spaces. The oceans sounds are constant and especially soothing at night...The beach walk is the best in San Diego county....you can take a short walk to dog's beach which is one mile north or you can walk for uninterrupted miles south towards La Jolla. This is a very comfortable family vacation home and the location is simply the best.
