This house had everything one would want. The appliances were top of the line, it had every cooking tool one could want and the pantry was open and full of great condiments that we used.
We enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets from the lanai where I did lots of art with our granddaughters. We rented the house because it had a Beach Club access card; that little
gentle cove is the perfect place to swim and snorkel. We would come back in a heart beat.

This is a fabulous option for a 3-bedroom property in Mauna Lani. Of all the houses we have stayed in around this resort, this layout was our favourite. We loved the elevated lanai, the spacious rooms (all three) and the fact that each had an ensuite. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

We chose the property because it was close to the Ironman venue. The place is fantastic: three super comfortable bedrooms each one with its own bathroom, fantastic indoor and outdoor social areas, a garage to park our bikes, a beach club very close by, a supermarket within walking distance.
Highly recommend this unit. It had everything we needed and more.

Such a spacious but cozy home! The bathrooms in each bedroom were super convenient. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. The kitchen had everything one would need to make some amazing meals. The variety of spices was a bonus. So many vacation homes do not supply anything, but maybe salt and pepper. The knives were super sharp as well.
Sitting on the lanai for my morning cup of coffee was heaven! Listening to the birds and watching the palm trees sway in the wind was a great way to wake up. The beach club was super convenient and has great lounge chairs to soak up the sun. The house manager Bennett was very pleasant and helpful!
We look forward to enjoying your beautiful home again! Thanks Heidi and Rich

Great Time at the The Villages #606!
Four of us (60ish) just returned from a great 2 weeks (Feb. 4-18, 2022) at Rich and Heidi's town home at The Villages in Mauna Lani. Their town home is exactly as advertised. It is very well stocked with all of the conveniences, appliances, cutlery and beach type amenities. Upon entering their town home we were taken with how very spacious it is which the pictures did not accurately convey. While not an issue for us the town home is starting to show it's age in certain areas. We spent most breakfasts and some suppers enjoying the very large Lani. We stocked up at Costco and made most of our meals in the town home and we made good use of the bbq on the Lani. The Beach Club was our go to spot for great snorkelling and sun tanning and is a great plus. We would very much like to thank Rich and Heidi for granting us a late check in (11pm) and late check out (8pm) to accommodate our flight schedules and to Bennett (the property manager) for meeting us at 10:30pm to check us in! Communications and responses to our questions were very prompt. We had a great time and we would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in the Mauna Lani area of the Big Island.

Very nice property. We enjoyed our stay.
Only issues were that the ice maker in the refrigerator didn’t work and the hot water faucet handle in one of the downstairs bedrooms was stuck.

We stayed in unit 606 in The Villages complex at the Mauna Lani/Fairmont Orchid resorts. The unit was large and spacious and comfortably handled our (at maximum) 6 person group, including one 2nd grader and 5 adults ranging in age from 37 to 66. The owners, Richard and Heidi, communicated key information prior to our arrival and even left more information for us when we arrived. The unit looked as advertised. There were plenty of kitchen items (except for a meat thermometer, which we purchased and donated to the unit), towels, linens, extra blankets and pillows etc. When we arrived the on location property manager was not familiar with how to set the ice maker on, how the dishwasher worked and forgot to turn back on the hot water. I worked with the owner, Richard, and got all these issues resolved right away. Access to the private beach club was easy - but we recommend getting there before 9:30 if you want to get one of provided lounge chairs. There is also a small pool and spa within walking distance as well as a well-equipped gym, for which you need to sign up (but same day times were almost always available). Other nice beaches were just a short drive away, for which you will need beach chairs and an umbrella. The house only had one workable beach chair, so we purchased two more (and donated them to the house). When we left, the property manager said he could have provided more if we had asked him (but that didn't do us any good because he should have told us on day 1). There is also a good beach umbrella and boogie board and snorkeling gear for about 4 people. We stayed for a long time - 7 weeks - so probably cooked more than most guests would - and everything worked fine. The appliances are about 20+ years old, but worked OK. The furniture was quite comfortable, and the property is very tastefully decorated. The beds all got 4 stars from our family. The Big Island was quite crowded when we were there and restaurant reservations were hard to get so I recommend you make your reservations about 30 days out from when you expect to eat. Part of that is due to Hawaii Covid rules and the fact that many restaurants either did not reopen or were only open to resort guests. We felt we got great value for our money and can't recommend the owners Richard and Heidi enough for their thoughtfulness and hospitality.

This beautiful and very comfortable home is located in a gated community with a beautiful pool and good fitness center. The home is a split level with a master suite, third bedroom with its own bathroom, office area and the utility room with a sink and full size washer and dryer on the lower level. The third bedroom has two queen beds. Both of these bedrooms have access to the ground floor patio.
The main master suite is on the upper floor with a very comfortable king bed, a separate shower and soaking tub and two sinks on a large vanity. The living room is large with ample seating on comfortable sofas. The dining table has seating for eight. There is additional seating at the counter in the kitchen.
The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and lots of kitchen gadgets. My step-son and I love to cook. The kitchen had everything we needed. There is also a large covered lanai with a nice cooking area and gas grill. We enjoyed sitting outside at the table for eight. The air conditioner works very well.
The garage contained lots of beach toys and chairs. Ample beach towels were provided in addition to bath and kitchen towels. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.
The beach club is a short drive away and is awesome. The water there is beautiful and calm with the snorkeling is good. There are lounges, including some with shades, provided on the beach. There are also lots of trees with grass under them providing shade for those who do not like to sit in the sun. In addition, there is also a very nice restaurant at the beach club. The food is good.
There is a grocery store in a small shopping center next to the townhome complex. We stocked up at Costco near the airport and only bought a few items here.
This home is a great place to base sightseeing excursions from. It is easy to get to any part of the island from here.
We have shared vacation rentals with my step-son and his family many times in the past. We all agreed that this is the most perfect place we have ever stayed. We are hoping to return in the future.

Beautiful quiet home with plenty of amenities.
We had a great stay, with the help of property manager Bennett. He is very attentive and met us even when we had very late arrival.
The A/C was troublesome, and he continued to work on it until it was fixed.
The TV’s use Spectrum cable and either the cable service is faulty or the remote controls are in need of upgrade.
The sofa in living room is very comfortable, but needs a good cleaning.
Overall wonderful stay!

Very large and luxurious
We were all so pleasantly surprised at how very large and luxurious this townhouse turned out to be. So often on websites, the photos make the rooms seem so much bigger than they are in reality. Not so with this townhouse, it was much bigger than we expected. Distances to amenities were very manageable and there was something of interest for everyone in our group. The beaches were great! We shopped for groceries in the KTA Market and cooked all our meals together in the kitchen which had everything we needed for many different kinds of meals. Beds were great, bathrooms were lavish and the common areas were very very comfortable. The weather was mild which made it possible to slide the glass doors all the way back into the wall and make the lanai part of the extended living room without the need to run the air conditioner and just use the fans. It was outdoor living with all the comforts of a beautiful home.

A fantastic Birthday getaway!
I wanted to wake up in Hawaii on my 50th birthday and I chose this lovely townhome for my special vacation. It was absolutely perfect for my family. Bennett the manager was there upon our arrival and he is a wealth of information on the island, besides being perfectly delightful and very sweet. This is a very large spacious home - we were 7 (4 grown-up and opinionated moms and aunties, two 19 year old teen girls and a 13 year old teen boy.) The bedroom layouts were perfect for our group, everyone had a place to sleep and the bathrooms were so pretty! The owners have decorated their island home with so many authentic touches, from the amazing artwork and photography on the walls, to the huge wicker pineapple which stores toys for the little ones! I loved the attention to detail! The beds were so comfortable. Usually there is always someone in a large group who has to complain about something, but there was NOTHING that we didn't like!!! We stocked up on food at Foodland. Sign up for the Makai card in order to take advantage of their discounts. You can walk over the to Queens Shops from the condo and enjoy dinner at Tommy Bahamas and some fine shopping. Also, on Mondays and Thursdays at 7, there is a Polynesian dance show, with pretty hula and fire dancers. It is definitely worth going and it's free! There is also beach equipment in the garage, like boogie boards, floats, sand toys, flippers, snorkels, masks, noodles and chairs that we used on various days down at The Beach Club. Because it was the busy holiday season, we tried to arrive by nine in order to get some of the blue cabana chairs for our group. The beach at the Club is gorgeous, white sand, fringed with palm trees, very chill vibe with mostly families. We rented kayaks from Dylan at Uncle Gary's Shack and had lots of fun paddling around. You can also rent snorkel gear, outrigger canoes and paddle boards as well as boogie boards. The owners were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about things to do and where to eat. We spent one morning down at Kiholo Bay enjoying the sea turtles and the beach. My sister was in turtle heaven -that is all she wanted to see on this trip, and boy did Kiholo deliver. We cannot wait to return to the Hawaii and explore more of the other side of the island - we would love to come back and make this our island home base again. I cannot say enough good things - it was the best vacation and the loveliest, most welcoming and comfortable home.

Great Family Townhome
Our family stayed in this Townhome in the summer. It is the perfect place for a family. We have 2 grandkids. The crib, beach toys, and books were greatly appreciated. Also, it was so relaxing to sit on the lanai and barbecue. The kitchen is very well stocked. The beds are very comfortable and we appreciated the air conditioning in the summer. It is well located near the shops and grocery store. We loved spending time at the pool and beach club. The manager is super helpful so if you have any questions or problems, he is nearby.

Perfect Family Serenity
My husband, two kids, parents and myself stayed at this beautiful townhouse. The house has everything you would need and want. There is beach and snorkelling gear, maps and tourist books, books, movies and lovely beds. We really enjoyed the lanai, listening to birds and feeling the island breeze. It is ideally located within walking distance to shops and restaurants. This was a family vacation we will remember forever, in fact the kids still keep talking about Hawaii.

Paradise
We have stayed here at this luxury town home at the Villages at Mauna Lani five times including one time with our daughter and her husband. This unit is stunning in every respect. We enjoyed meals on the unit's wonderful lanai, which includes a great BBQ, before and after our days activities. Very peaceful! Snorkeling and relaxing at the Mauna Lani Beach Club, our favorite place to relax, and exploring the adjacent beaches and fish ponds was just wonderful. In addition, having the beach club restaurant available for food and drinks was an added bonus. Our daughter and husband loved relaxing at the Beach Club; their favorite place. As an avid walker, it was great to be able to walk to the beach club, local shops and dining areas. Easy access by car to local outdoor markets, tours to swim with dolphins, whales and manta rays and other local sights and activities for daytime getaways. We will be back to enjoy this bit of Paradise.

This amazing house has it all!
My family of 6 adults rented this amazing home for 12 days over the Christmas holidays. From the first contact, we were delighted with the professionalism and ease of the owners. We asked lots of questions and the owners answered promptly and completely. We were even more delighted when we arrived at the home and were met right on time by Bennett, the on site manager. He was most helpful and made sure we had all the keys, beach access pass, and understood all the appliances. This house is elegantly furnished, with comfortable seating and plush cushions. The huge outdoor balcony has a grill, outdoor fridge and sink, and really comfortable wicker furniture, a table for 6 and additional chairs and tables to watch the clouds turn pink and purple at sunset, amazing!
The beds are all really comfortable, and the number of bath and beach towels provided really great. The garage had all kinds of snorkel gear, multiple boogie boards, noodles for the pool, a cooler and lots of extra supplies. The showers are all supplied with soap, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, somewhat unusual for an average rental home.
The owners have provided games, decks of cards, laminated maps of the resort and the island, guide books galore, and beach mats.
The kitchen was really well outfitted, with the sharpest knives and best pans I could have asked for. We enjoyed cooking and eating out on the patio. Two dishwashers made cleanup easy.
This is by far the nicest rental home we have come across and we have rented homes from Positano to Paris to Laguna Beach. This is a real find. We will most certainly be back.

Hawaiian Paradise
Beautifully decorated, clean and spacious. Our family of 5, all adults, had a fantastic time. Lots of room and very comfortable. We liked the gourmet kitchen and BBQ on the lanai. We enjoyed peaceful breakfasts on the lanai to get the day started and generally ended the day out there as well. A nice tropical breeze going at all times. The Mauna Lani beach was fantastic. Very good snorkeling, scuba diving and paddle boarding. There was good amount of shade if we got too hot and we were always able to get a lawn chair on the beach or the grassy area. We also enjoyed the other beaches nearby, did some hiking and went to the volcano. We saw so much wildlife both on sea and land. Never a dull moment. It was a fantastic vacation and wonderful accomodations. We will definetly recommend this place to friends and family. We hope to make it back there again in the very near future!

Perfect!
This property was perfect in every way... very accomodating. They had many things for our younger kids saving us from packing extra kid stuff. This unit is perfectly located, walking distance to great beaches, dining, shopping, community pool and grocery store. Everything you could possibly need was right at hand. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful place to stay & Snorkeling heaven at Manui Lani Beach Club
We enjoyed a lovely stay at this very nice property.
The snorkeling is just wonderful at the beach club. Always a great selection of fish to swim with along with wonderful beach/beach restaurant, and friendly staff. We enjoyed visiting the close by mid-week market at Anna Ranch capped off by a tour of the ranch house. We enjoyed Kona and the Kona market. In addition, we took a day's outing by driving over the saddle road to Hilo to visit the exquisit Japanesse Gardens and the town of Hilo and farmers market. We, also, took in a relaxing hike along Mana Road just outside Waimea along a red dirt road used by the local ranchers which offered pleasent views of the mountains and fields.
The propertyis relaxing, clean, well appointed and it has a nice selection of books and pamphlets/map on the Big Island.
Our favorite place to relax is the Manua Lani Beach Club.
We would recommend this property to relatives and friends.

Perfect Vacation Home
We've stayed in this home twice now and cannot say enough wonderful things about it. First of all the home is beautiful but not in the way that you feel you must be extra careful with everything. It is very comfortable, livable. It is close enough to the water that you can feel the early morning breeze on the spacious lanai. The kitchen is a dream with an exceptional amount of cookware and utensils. All three of the bedrooms are large, plenty of room for your things. One of the best perks is having access to both the private beach and the pool. The beach is gorgeous and perfect for all ages, our 5 year loves it. The pool is just the right size with a hot tub and even a kiddie pool - it's only a short walk from the house. The market and some shops are also within walking distance - perfect for those last minute needs. The location of Villages at Mauna Launi is perfect - other beaches and hotels are minutes away in a car. My family and I absolutely love this home because it is the perfect accommodation for all ages. We will definitely rent again.

Great Vacation
I've actually stayed at this unit on the last three years. It has everything you we could ever want (The kitchen is better equiped than my home). Its close to everything in the resort, the beach club, the golf courses, the spa and tennis facilities and its equa-distance to both hotels.
We love sitting on the lanai BBQing and watching the sun set with a cocktail and some friends. The unit is very spacious and never feels crowded. Every room has an on suite bathroom which is ideal.
We can't wait to go back.
