We rented this perfect lake home for family weekend at Clemson. The house is great, plenty of common areas, fully equipped kitchen, nice enclosed porch with a beautiful view, everything needed for any age to enjoy a perfect lake getaway. We had a fabulous stay.

I recently had the pleasure of renting Gail’s Lake Home, and I can confidently say that it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment I drove down the driveway until the day I left, every aspect of my stay was simply exceptional.
This home is an absolute gem. It was comforting, felt like home, and exuded a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The home is impeccably clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It truly felt like were staying in our own home
Communication with Gail was seamless and efficient. She was prompt in her responses, provided detailed information about the property, and was always available to answer any questions I had. Her genuine care for their guests' well-being was remarkable, and it made the whole renting process hassle-free and enjoyable.
The amenities provided in the home were top-notch. The kitchen was fully equipped with modern appliances, housewares, entertainment platters, etc. making it a pleasure to prepare meals. The living spaces were cozy and inviting, perfect for unwinding after a long day of boating (we rented a pontoon for the day) and enjoying our son’s college graduation. Our family loved the outdoor shower, and the basement game room was bonus for all. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was reliable, a must for those of us working remote...
The experience I and my family had far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend their rental home. Thank you, Gail, for creating such an incredible rental experience!

Big property. Lots of amenities.

Had a great time! The house was wonderful … lots of space (!) for sleeping and playing, and very well equipped. Communication with owner easy.and quick. It’s a great location for a Clemson football game, but would also be a fantastic summer getaway. with an opportunity to use the lake. Renting a boat would be fun.

Really nice home and in a great location. The only issue was the television in the main living room we were not able to get it to work. We are older folks and do not use streaming services. Otherwise, we had a great time. Thank you for letting us stay at your property. Cyndi Masters

Rented the house for my daughter and friends who graduated last year to come back and see a game. House very clean, great set up for us as parents could be on upper level - girls on middle level and lower level great for hanging out. Owners easy to communicate with. About 20
minutes to Clemson.

We traveled to the area to visit our daughter at Clemson. We wanted a place large enough to have our parents travel with us and also have our daughter and friends over to visit. This home was WONDERFUL! It is a beautiful home on the lake! Our family had plenty of room to spend time together. We played games, pool (billiards), and ping pong. We greatly enjoyed our time together. Wonderful memories! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Shocked at the damage that the owner claimed we made. A beautiful home, a wonderful stay, a perfect weekend, now destroyed with damage “claims.” We were in the home awake for maybe 6 total hours as we were there for a football game. Owner claimed $1200 in damages. Impossible!!! We checked the entire home and left it how we found it. Our children played in the basement, as we thought it was made for, but debris from outside sticks yields massive damage fees from this owner. We are so disappointed! We truly had a wonderful stay and are just shocked with the insurance claims brought against us. A mere 36 hour stay in this home. Be warned!

Really, this house is wonderful and so well-equipped. I don't understand people's issues with the labels. It made it so much easier to find things and put things back properly. You could readily see what remote went to what device, etc. The beds were comfortable, water was nice and hot, the porch is lovely. Gail was so responsive when we had a brief issue logging into the wifi. A gem of a house!

The house was very clean and nice. It had everything you would need to stay for a week there! Communication with the owners was very timely and courteous. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

We had a great weekend at the home! The kids loved playing ping pong and pool. Everyone enjoyed their stay.

The house is well maintained and was very clean when we checked in. Overall, the impression we had was the property was utilized primarily as a rental property, which is fine, although the plethora of rules and notices throughout the house was a little off-setting. We weren't sure if the owners had issues with previous guests and certainly appreciate the need to protect their home and belongings inside, it was perhaps a little too much for us personally. There are signs throughout the house stating there is a non-smoking policy, framed pictures in the bathrooms instructing what not touch, small little labels pretty much everywhere that made it seem less like a warm inviting house versus a vacation home. For example, there are labels stating there are something like 11 white bowls, 10 plates, etc. Again, while we recognize the desire not to lose these items and perhaps other guests had absconded with plates or bowls (?), it felt almost as though we were intruding and reluctantly the house was being rented. The thermostat is wi-fi enabled and the setting was restricted not to go below 71. Despite it being the fall, when we arrived, the temperature was in the high 90s and the house was uncomfortable and we needed to contact the owners in order to lower the thermostat even further. They eventually allowed the thermostat to be lowered to 70. Just an anecdotal example of, how can it be described, strict nature approach regarding the rules and warmth of the house. We have four small children and they certainly enjoyed the finished basement, ping pong, easy access to the dock, water, etc. The beds were all clean, well maintained, house was absolutely clean and organized. The strange unsettling feeling was a different experience for us and without a doubt there may have been other renters that wouldn't respect and treat a rental property as they should, this ultimates drove us not to provide a five star rating.

Our family members are blessed that we had some wonderful time together in this beautiful place by the lake. This home is so comfortable and the porches offer a place for quiet time apart or fellowship together with those we love. We thank Gail and her family for thinking of everything we might.
