About this cabin rental

A uniquely uncommon 3 story custom built home in Southern Oklahoma on the Red River. Welcomed with a rustic industrial feel perfect family atmosphere. The river provides unlimited activities including swimming, fishing, kayaking, volleyball, grilling out and much more. The 1500 sq ft home has a Master Bedroom downstairs with king size bed and a full bath. Additional bedrooms include a queen and full bath on 2nd level then a full and 2- twins on third level we call the bunk room. Our cabin accommodates a total of 8 people in beds 2 of those being couples style. There's a 1/2 bath off kitchen with laundry facilities. Very large kitchen with a beautiful view of the river flowing by. Our large concrete outdoor area is great for grilling or hanging out. Even after dusk you can flip on the string lights and continue the party. We can provided information for guided fishing trips or Air-Boat rides upon request as well.

Great spot, secluded & quiet with a great view of the Red River. THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW: - You will have to park uphill from the rental and walk your groceries and luggage downhill - The walk from the parking area while short isn't friendly for small children or the elderly - While the cabin has AC there are no vents in the master bedroom, be prepared to sleep with the bedroom door open as there is no air flow - Cabin does get very dark at night - Bunk room is on the 3rd floor - Queen bedroom is on the 2nd floor

My husband and I stayed for the weekend. Concert at Choctaw Casino was easy to get to. We absolutely loved this property. Private, peaceful, beautiful! A real gem to find! Will be bringing family and friends back!

I can’t say enough about how great the communication was with the owners. The cabin was exactly how it looked and very peaceful. We also booked a fishing trip with Troy and he was amazing if you are looking for something to do in the area.

We really enjoyed the property! This was our second time to rent the home. It’s clean and the location is awesome. It’s right on the red river so you can fish from the backyard! The house has a really nice outdoor hang out section with a fire pit area. We all had a blast! It was such a fun and relaxing weekend getaway! We will definitely be coming back!

I put together a short farewell "guy trip" because one of our crew is moving to Florida in a few months. We wanted to pick a place that was near Lake Texoma since we had a guided fishing trip planned for the weekend. The cabin was close enough to meet our guide with a 30-minute trip to the marina (your results may vary). The cabin was "just rustic enough" with lots of reclaimed and upcycled decoration and finishes that made it feel a lot older than it is, but it still had most modern conveniences. We ended up spending a lot more time than we thought on the South patio watching the sunsets and local wildlife (fish, turtles, pelicans, birds, a bat, and pretty sure we saw a beaver swimming in the water once the sun went down; we lit him up with a high-powered spot light). We would definitely go back here again. All the guys liked it and may return with their own family pods, too.

We loved this cabin. It was very accommodating to all our needs. The property is gorgeous. It has everything you need like spices, lots of dishes and utensils. We will come back again for sure.

We have stayed here a couple of times now and my family loves this place, from the location to the house amenities and everything in between. We try to make this property a yearly vacation spot, it has not disappointed us yet.

We had a fantastic stay at this river retreat. It was super private. The only other people we ever saw were on the air boats going by at night bow fishing. We enjoyed watching them! My favorit part of our stay was the break form internet and tv. It was grounding to ignore all of the noise in the world right now and just take in the peace and quite and enjoy nature. We really enjoyed fishing and kayaking as well as swimming. We went to Eisenhower State Park to swim at the beach there. I highly recommend that! It was fantastic! We hope to visit again next year.

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin is beautiful, full of vintage reclaimed materials. The owner has fully stocked & thought of everything you may need. The only complaints would be the condition of the kayaks. They filled with water quickly as all had holes & the duct tape patching has become worn. The trek to the river may be a bit steep if you aren’t in good condition. The cabin is in close proximity to Burns Run, where we enjoyed swimming. Also not far from Eisenhower state park for great trails. We enjoyed rocking on the patio & watching the sunrise & sunset.

Nice but close Get A Way

This is an hour drive from our house so it is a quick trip, but once you arrive it feels like you are a million miles away. The river view is so peaceful. This is a repeat spot for my group of friends to ditch the wives and kids and get some time by the fire swapping stories and relaxing. It sleeps “8” but for a comfortable “guys trip” really 6.

We booked the cabin to celebrate a 70th birthday. The cabin was well equipped and perfect for the occasion. It was very entertaining to sit in the rockers on the porch and watch all the wildlife on the river. Will definitely be back!

Family of four (4 & 6 year olds) stayed here for the extended weekend. Outside of being a bit muddy along the river - expected - our trip was perfect. Built a fire, played games, explored the house and surrounding areas and had a blast.

The pictures of this place don't do it justice. It is a great location, a short drive from the DFW area and just minutes from I-75 but you feel very secluded. The house is really awesome with everything you need for a great weekend away and the back porch with all of it's rockers has great views overlooking the river. We chose the house to do a day kayak trip down the Red River to Carpenter's Bluff and it couldn't have been a better spot for it. If you are looking for a great spot for a weekend trip, look no further.

Wonder place to get away. Read a good book, enjoy the beautiful river views. Came home late one night and they was actually a mother dear and two Fawn’s sleeping in the front yard, spectacular!!

The photos don't do this cabin justice! It is SO cute and rustic - just one of those "one-of-a-kind finds"! We vacationed here with our kids (15, 15 and 20 year old). We loved the direct entry into the water for fishing and kayaking!

Property is perfectly situated on the river and conveniently located from the DFW metroplex. The pictures of the cabin online do not do it justice- it is a beautiful, rustic labor of love. The whole family loved the cabin and proximity to the river and enjoyed the kayaking. Billy Jo was lightening fast on responding to me when we needed assistance. This property and owner are top-notch!

This place is so cute and rustic and unique! Accommodates so many and is so comfortable! And you cannot beat the location and views!
