About this house rental
Water front location with yard water access and beautiful view 24/7. New appliances. All water sports and fishing just steps from any door of this lake home. Dining on the deck is always a treat. This quiet neighborhood is only 1 hour 15 minutes from Dallas. Master bedroom downstairs with large bathroom including double vanities. Surrounded by nature and the beautiful lake - all will enjoy this setting. Inside comfort, games, flat screen Smart TVs, DirectTV, fully equipped kitchen. Two bedrooms upstairs. One upstairs bedroom has a very comfortable queen bed; the other upstairs room has both a queen, a full size bed and plenty of room. Ceiling fans all rooms. WiFi

Our family enjoyed the views of the lake, the sizable patio, and the comfy house for a few days at fall break. The kids enjoyed the game room with toys and board games. The very short walk to the shore made it easy to throw a few casts into the lake. For sure would stay again again.

The pictures don't quite give a true representation of the property. Although plenty large, and the kitchen is well equipped, the house is need of a lot of updating. All bathrooms are dated, the floors are a variety of tile, wood, and carpeting and the stairs are plentiful. The kitchen is small, in need of updated oven and microwave and is dark. There are plenty of dishes, utensils, etc, which is nice. The AC works very well and it is nice to have both floors zoned. The house could use a thorough cleaning as does the outside. The landscaping, dead bushes and yard waste was a challenge.The brand new outdoor grill was great. The beach can only be used with water shoes and there is very little sand. The open yard and common area out the sliding doors is nice for kids to run and play. We did appreciate the owners giving us the code for the room with the washer and dryer, we have never stayed at a VRBO that did not include one. All in all the vacation was restful but we will explore other areas, especially for the price.

We can't say enough positive about our experience at this home. Check in was smooth. We worried only a bit about the air conditioners. However, as advertised, they have 2 units, one for upstairs and one for downstairs. In 107 heat, they were turned on at approx. 3:30pm and by 9pm the upstairs was 78. Everyone slept comfortably on a very hot weekend in August. Beds: comfortable. Large family room: perfect for our larger family. Everyone fit at the dining table. Kitchen: clean and good for preparing and serving food. All the appliances we needed. Didn't check to see if there was a slow cooker. The view of the lake: SPECTACULAR! We left wanting to purchase a piece of property in this beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The beach area can be seen from the house. The beach was a tad rocky in places, but not so much that you could not wade in or pull up a wave runner onto the shore. Lovely back patio to hang out on. But it was so hot, we were either in the house or in the water. Did I mention games? They had a bunch as well as a ton of DVDs if that is your thing. Yes, it was pricey, but we were so happy we splurged on this true lake-front property.

Perfect for family fun!
This property was perfect for our family vacation! We had two teenagers, 3 adults and our 2 month old grandson. The home was very clean, owners were wonderfully attentive and checked to make sure we were all taken care of. The house being so close to the water was awesome! We drug our kayaks and floats right down to the water and spent the afternoons. We rented a pontoon boat just 5 minutes away for one of the days and had a great time! Anyone traveling with family that wants fun at your back door and a beautiful clean spacious home, this is the place for you!!

Homey, relaxing vacation home
Our family (grandparents, parents, and their kids) celebrated Grandparents’ weeks at this lake house in late July, early August. We had a great time - lots of water activities, board games, local restaurants, hiking, etc. that kept us busy. Kathy and Earl are great - very welcoming and responsive to any question or concern that came up during our 2 week stay. If you are looking for a comfortable, relaxing home on the lake, you’ll be very happy with this choice.

We had an amazing time in this wonderful home. Beautiful view can walk down to lake and swim or fish. While there rented skidoo’s and the next day paddle boards. Fun in the sun for all. Owners great!

Ladies' Birthday Getaway
I see why Kathy is a super host! There was a birthday banner and a bottle of wine waiting for us! Totally unexpected, but a sweet surprise. It was wonderfully relaxing, and the view of the lake was better than the pictures! A very spacious, clean and comfortable house.

The PERFECT Place!
The home was exactly what we were looking for - the right size (3 bedrooms), with a great view of the lake, and a nice patio to relax and watch the boats. There were 9 people during the day and 6 that stayed the nights. Easy to find and close to Highport Marina. It was a wonderful time for all! Thank you, Kathy!!!

The grass area lent itself for many games; can-jam, corn hole, a golf chipping game and much needed relaxing under the very large beautiful mature trees. We appreciated greatly the cleanliness taken especially in this Covid Era. We never once thought about Covid or anything else for that matter. Thank you for having the NFL network as we were able to watch the Buffalo Bills game on Sunday (where we grew up) before going down to the lake. We all definitely recommend this property and hope very much to go back!!

Property owner was easy to work with. However the interior of home could use some deep cleaning (spider webs). We had elderly family members could not operate the door (sliding door) and the other door was taped shut. Was no internet as advertised.

Perfect weekend get away!!
This was our second stay at this house. This is Labor Day weekend and my birthday is Monday, Labor Day. There was a balloon, birthday banner and a bottle of wine when we arrived. The house is perfect and has all the essentials . It is very a comfortable home and we will be back again!!

Lakeside at Lake Texoma in Pottsboro, TX
We spent 5 days in mid-August at this property with family and had a wonderful time. It's was a lovely clean house that backs up to a nice little cove. We rented kayaks one days and then a pontoon boat another day and enjoyed the lake and found some great islands with wonderful sandy beaches.

From the moment we walked in we felt right at home. It is very clean and it has everything you need to make a meal. The layout is perfect for a family gathering. The best part is the location! You have amazing views of the lake and it's just a short walk down to the lake. Kathy is a wonderful host. She made sure we had everything we needed and sent tips on local info. I would highly recommend choosing this waterfront home.

Wonderful Weekend
We enjoyed a wonderful weekend with a group of friends. The house was clean and roomy. We had enough space to spread out and have a nice dinner in the dining room. We had a fish fry on the patio and enjoyed the easy access to the lake for fishing and floating. Neighbors stopped and chatted; very friendly. Kathy was easy to get a hold of and I couldn't have asked for a kinder host. Looking forward to future trips!

Family Getaway Post Quarantine
This is a wonderful home. Perfect for 6 adults and we also had one baby. View and location are absolutely perfect. Great sitting areas outside and inside is so cozy and comfortable from the dining room to the large sofa. Would highly recommend. And Kathy is the hostess with the mostest for sure!! Hope to go back again one day!!

Last minute booking for us. Has a great beach right out front. Nice neighborhood. A bit small in the upstairs bedrooms. No access to washer/ drier. Nose hose outside to wash a boat. Very responsive owner . Would recommend.

Exceptional Summer Getaway
My family rented this property for a long Fourth of July weekend, and everything was wonderful. The proximity to the lake and various marinas cannot be beat. I would not be surprised if we are back before too long!

Great location!
We only stayed for 3 nights and kept ourselves busy at the house but some in our party of 10 did rent a boat and went on the lake for a couple hours. Quiet neighborhood with large enough property to enjoy the outdoors and spend time at the beach, which is a short walk. House has a nice layout and was very comfortable. We spent our evenings grilling and playing games with our kids and grandkids. Excellent property to get away.....5 stars all around from us.

Relaxing time on the lake
Wonderful house on the lake in a quiet neighborhood. We loved the location. It was a quick drive to get to a marina to rent water toys. My favorite was sitting out back in the morning watching the ducks while reading. It is very peaceful. Kathy was great giving locations of everything near by that we might need. We will definitely rent again.

Wonderful Getaway
We had a great and relaxing time at the lake home. Beds were comfy and there was more than enough room for our party of 6. The house is just steps from the water and the view is wonderful. Beds were comfy and the patio was perfect. The owner is very friendly and helped us make the most of our visit with great information about the Lake Texoma area. We can't wait to come back!

Wonderful Weekend
The house was just perfect for our stay. We were in the area to attend a friend's funeral but took the opportunity to spend the weekend with each other to celebrate her life. Eight ladies stayed comfortably. The kitchen was perfectly stocked and the beds were all comfortable. We sat by the water and talked in the evenings. The only thing I would recommend are extra linens / bigger blankets to cuddle on the couch. While the beds had nice linens, there weren't any extra that we could find. There were a couple of small throw blankets but they weren't quite big enough to get comfortable. The TV was a little hard to figure out even with the instructions but we managed to watch a couple of great DVDs. Overall it was a wonderful stay! Thank you!

Loved it!!
This is a beautiful lake house on a cool cove on Lake Texoma! We had a wonderful time and I highly recommend this place for family get togethers and space to move around and enjoy! The owner is awesome and responsive but we had no issues anyway! We took advantage of the half price boat rental at highport marina on a weekday on the owners recommendation and was totally worth it! Bonus we had a full moon on Friday night reflecting the lake for great pics. The AC and water in the home were excellent even for a very hot Texas weekend!
