Great Location & lovely comfy bed. Windows open right up for a wonderful breeze on a warm day. Hot shower. Felt very quiet & peaceful.
The flat had been double booked so we had a family arrive with The Caretaker on our 1st evening. We then felt unable to go out having spent so much time trying to sort out the error.
Also When we booked a 1pm check out was definitely advertised AND confirmed in the email but 24 hours before our stay a message arrived saying check out was 10am. Apparently there’s an error on the booking page. Booking peeps blamed the owners- Owners would not budge the time so we were disappointed not to get a lye in on a Sunday morning.

Beautifully styled, modern, clean and comfortable apartment. I had set my hopes a little lower after booking just going on a few comments in previous reviews but honestly, this place exceeded expectations. It had everything we needed to feel at home such as comfortable pillows and blankets on the sofa, WiFi, blackout curtains to ensure a good sleep. Beautiful high windows and ceilings allow the light to pour in and it feels so relaxing there. Little things in the cupboard like salt, cooking oil, sugar, tea bags - lovely little touches to make self-catering easier. It's a 3-4 minute walk to the seafront where there are shops nearby. We took the 25min walk into the town centre too. Plenty to see and do nearby. It was such a nice apartment that we intend to come back, even if it means another 6hr journey that should have taken 3hrs because the M25 is a nightmare. My 6yr old doesn't think it's a holiday unless it's on a plane but even he loved the apartment so much that he didn't want to leave. Every day he ran to the window to see the resident fox relaxing in the garden.
When everything was so great it was almost too easy to nitpick at the tiniest of things;
1) the missing glass pane in the window upon entry to the main floor of the building. I'm sure it may well be the responsibility of the building owners rather than the apartment owners, as the window is by the main door which leads to 2 apartments. I didnt feel unsafe in any way as the front door to the apartment was secure.
2) only 3 forks! Not so much an issue as only 3 of us stayed but had there have been an additional person (as the apartment could sleep 2 adults and 2 kids) it would be a minor inconvenience. Bit of an annoyance when preparing food but we got by without.
3) the apartment was impeccably clean but I couldn't help but notice what I presume to be splashes from someone aggressively brushing their teeth. It was over the taps and on the wall. It did wipe off though. Going by the cleanliness of the rest of the apartment I am sure this was an oversight.
4) Advertised as plenty of on street parking. Plenty, alright. There was also more than plenty of cars parked up. We circled the roads nearby for a good 5 minutes before we found a space 2 roads up to leave it for the first night. Then we gradually moved it closer and closer to the apartment as spaces became free. A minor inconvenience as it was my husband running back and fourth with luggage. Had it of been me doing the lugging I'd have more to say about the matter.

Nice accommodation with good decorations.
The beds for the kids (11&14) were to small.

Great location- size of the apartment.
Kitchen facilities could have been better-
Only 1 baking tray.
Not enough cutlery- forks and spoons.
No cheese grater

Location, parking available, lovely spacious apartment
Broken window near the front of house. Windows very noisy when the wind blows, in the back room. We had to sleep in the living room to avoid this. Smell of smoke when we arrived. The bed in the back room is not really for an adult and difficult for a pregnant woman to sleep on.

cold and draughty
windows banging and rain coming in. bathroom heater not working

Lovely big apartment. Only thing that needs attention is to bleed radiator in small bedroom. Will visit again excellent

Very spacious rooms, nice sofas and had a lot of kitchen equipment and a good bathroom area. Very light and sunny but not well managed.
The key lock box was very hard to access and the communal front door very challenging to open and needs refurbishment. The showers were very poor pressure for hot water. All the decor was dated and shabby with a dirty carpet and dishevelled curtains that need replacing.

great apartment! very spacious
close to bus stops
giant windows. plenty of light

Location was great, only a 2-5 minute walk to the beach. Parking availability was great too, I managed to park outside the apartment pretty much everyday. Was a lot more spacious than expected. We were using this more as a base to keep our bags and sleep, so for that this apartment is fine.
Main double bed was uncomfortable, but could be solved with a mattress topper. Carpet very grubby, but doesn't affect the stay (unless you have younger children). Also one night neighbours had a loud party (however I appreciate this isn't the hosts fault and can be solved with ear plugs)

location , feeling of space, views
towels & bed linens were perfectly clean but just worn & tired looking.

Location great, lovely spacious property would be exceptional if a few upgrades and cosmetic changes.
Dirty balcony, stained carpet ( rip up a use floorboards!) Better bedding, crumpled, tired dispatching all so easy to change and it would be a 5 star plus rating.

Liked the location and the spacious flat.
Was very dirty, with cobwebs everywhere, and would not eat from any of the facilities all the plates were greasy and dirty. The main bedroom bed was very uncomfortable and woke up with rashes, felt like I was being eaten alive. The toilet door has no lock.

Nice stay overall. Very spacious Victorian flat close to beach.
Inspection between let's could be better as all the cutlery was dirty. Overall the place was clean and tidy and well furnished. Bathroom cold. Towel rack heater not working.

Thought the apartment was ok. Location good. Parking tricky to find a space.
The apartment was just OK. When you book a place you have reviews and photos to go on only in most cases. The photos were not a true representation of the apartment, Cushions, throws, flowers, plants, not there. Felt like the place had been stripped of it's luxuries. No welcome pack at all, or any local help/maps/facilities, old opened boxes of tea bags in cupboard, fridge was absolutely saturated on the bottom, seemed the overflow plug was blocked. The dining table was so wobbly we couldn't use it. The windows were filthy. No iron and hair dryer as stated. Tatty ripped Covid instructions on the door. Nowhere to hang or put any items in the bathroom. No toilet brush to clean. Sadly to add to our week there, which was to visit poorly family, workmen started digging up the road directly outside, starting early which was disturbing. Obviously this is not the owners issue but it really didn't help!
After sending this to apartment contact we had and Booking.com nothing has been said, just that Booking.com cannot do anything as they haven't had a reply, neither have we! Absolutely rubbish, to not hear anything is extremely rude and will not use again.

Specious beautiful living..loved it.
Beds were not comfy..did not match the price range. Bathroom door lock needs replacement as well as kitchen utensils. There were no kitchen towel, no oven gloves which I suppose people expect to have in a self-catering accommodation. There was no iron and hair dryer either. The property was great but the host needs to take care of little details to make the stay satisfying.

Great living room and kitchen, amazing building, great locationS clean and comfortable.
The shower isn’t powerful. The instructions to find it and get in could be improved. There were some serious issues with the wifi, we had to let a man in from Talk Talk at 8 in the morning on one of the days, but they gave us an extra night at a lower value to make up for it.

The house is very comfortable and it feels like my own home

Nice apartment in a good location
The front door deadlocks and locks you in! There are signs explaining this but we still managed to lock ourselves in! It would have been very dangerous if there was a fire.
