With great second-story views of adjacent meadows and the surrounding San Juan Mountains, you will love this family friendly, two-bedroom property featuring private full bath, laundry, and fully-equipped kitchen and dining facilities. The property has always been maintained smoke, pet and allergen free with allergen barrier bedding and an AccuClean(TM) Whole Home Air Filtration System.
Offering 960 square feet of living space, the large, open great room and vaulted ceilings throughout provide spacious living quarters. Private decks facing east and west let you enjoy sun or shade any time of day. With a queen bed in one bedroom and two twin beds in the other, the suite comfortably sleeps four (five with a youngster on the available cot).
With 400 thread-count 100% cotton sheets, plush carpeting, dedicated high-speed and password protected wireless internet service, 50" Vizio HDTV, custom woodwork and historical area photographs and art, this spacious suite is outfitted to be your favorite home away from home.
The convenient, edge-of-town location is as quiet as it gets, yet directly across the street you can access Ridgway's network of wide, pedestrian and bike friendly sidewalks for a quick, easy walk or ride into the center of town and all of Ridgway's many fine restaurants, shops, and attractions. Highlights include the Ridgway Visitor Center, Railroad Museum, Ranch History Museum, Town Park, County Fairgrounds, and River Trail. Clean and comfortable , a short ways out of the main part of town, accommodating hosts

Check-in process was very simple. Bob and Mary Beth were very friendly and helpful. The beds weren't the most comfortable, but that would be my only minor complaint about the property. It was clean, quiet, and very convenient for access to everything we wanted to do during our stay. Excellent property that I would definitely stay in again.

Clean, cozy, walkable within Ridgway. 10 minute drive to Ouray. Excellent communication from hosts. Stocked with everything we needed. Only negatives were the beds were not very comfortable and seemed pretty old and some kind of blackout curtains in bedrooms would have been nice. Front facing bedroom was awash in sunlight by 6am with no means of blocking it.

Great location about halfway between Telluride and Silverton. Property was clean and communication with hosts was excellent. Would absolutely stay here again next year.

this property was perfect for my partner and i to explore Telluride, Ouray, and Silverton. We also loved walking into downtown Ridgeway to go to the grocery store or get some food at a restaurant.
During our stay, we were able to do the Via Ferrata in Ouray, hangout at the Bluegrass fest in Telluride, and Paddleboard at Ridgeway State Park.
This property was a great place to land after all of our adventures. Very quiet and comfortable. Easy Checkin and Checkout. Bob and Mary Beth were very clear in directions and were very communicative.

Property was great, better than we expected! It was clean, roomy, quiet and convenient to everything we planned on doing in the area. Accurately described which is appreciated when deciding where to book. Hosts were very responsive to inquiries prior to us getting there and checked in once we arrived. Highly recommend staying here and we return without hesitation.

Very convenient location for access to Ouray, Telluride, and Owl Creek Pass. A great place to prepare and eat meals, work a puzzle, or watch a movie after a day of sightseeing.

The Cow Creek Suites were clean and quiet. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evening. It was a tight fit in the kids' bedroom with the cot, but was manageable for the 4 days we were there. I was worried about the kids spilling on the carpeted dining area. The location was quiet and good for activities in Ouray and Ridgway. The hosts were responsive and helpful.

We stayed 3 nights while hiking the area. The kitchen was spacious and had all the pans etc we needed. The AC was great since it was 90 when we got back. The dishwasher leaked when we got there and it wasnt repaired when we were there. Everything else worked fine. We enjoyed the stay and check in was great.

Great place to wrap our honeymoon and be base camp for all that Ridgway/Ouray have to offer. Owners were very responsive and communication was great. AC went out, but didn't spend much time in the home during the day and nights were cool with windows open. It was repaired during our stay as well. Would recommend Cow Creek suite as a perfect place to stay in this beautiful area. Thanks Mary Beth & Bob for wonderful hospitality!!

This was our fourth time or fifth time to stay at Cow Creek. The owners are exceptional y friendly and great to work with. The place is always so clean and has all the accommodations you would expect. Beautiful views from both the front and back deck. Perfect location (close to the grocery store, the gas station, and 10 minutes from Ouray).

We so enjoyed Cow Creek. We love the views out of every window. It was very comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, mixing bowls, and even scissors and tape. Very grateful for this place. Weve been there about 4 times now and hope to return again.

We really enjoy staying here. It's quiet and peaceful yet close to town. There is also ample parking for a trailer. It's clean and neat and well decorated with a nice view. You can easily get to Ouray, or even Telluride, from here.

We stayed at Cow Creek Suites upstairs 12 years ago and it was just as charming this trip. It’s right across hwy from the quaint town of Ridgway. We enjoyed Provisions, Kate’s Place, Gnar, Eatery 66 not to mention farmers market and several shops. Everyone is friendly. Great tips from locals at the Mercantile, Zanes photography among others. Cow Creek Suites is well cared for and has everything you could want wrapped up in a cozy place to stay.

Immaculate upper floor unit. The kitchen is very well equipped, with an assortment of dishes, stove top pans, covered baking dishes, and utensils, from tea strainer to knives. We appreciated the thoughtfulness of the owners. The rooms are decorated with framed black and white historical photos (lovely) and a topographical map (interesting). We also found a book on the geology of the area which was great.
Our only discomfort was the bed snd seating: we prefer a firm bed and comfortable chairs. The bed, stools at the table, the two soft sofas, and the bistro chairs outside weren’t the best for us. The unit is off the main highway so to get to town you either drive a short distance or walk along the highway without tree cover (we like to walk but we drove).
Overall, we were impressed with how attentive the hosts were (including a quick response to every question) and how much they anticipated the possible needs of their guests (a drying rack, a drawer with scotch tape, pens, note paper). The place is very well cared for and clean.

Was even better than the pictures. Very spacious, very comfortable. All the comforts of home. Clean, solid, quiet. We were a party of two, but the long kitchen bar and spacious dining table would host 6-8 happy diners. Spacious countertops in kitchen allow for roomy meal prep. Walking distance to pizza, conveniences. Minutes to warm, welcoming hub of Ridgway restaurants, shops, park, library. Just 10 minutes to beautiful Ouray. 45 minutes to exciting Telluride, 30 minutes from airport in Montrose and established large grocery stores, chain restaurants. Hosts were very helpful pre-arrival in answering planning questions. Attentive to assist if needed during our stay. Would love to stay here again on a return trip. Loved it!

The unit was very nice and clean.
The unit had everything you need. We were somewhat disappointed with the area. Although the view from the rear deck was very nice. It's a good base for seeing telluride, ouray and the south rim of the black canyon of the Gunnison.

A great place
Was a great location. Has a Family Dollar and gas station within walking distance and you can be in town at the grocery store in 5 minutes. And your at the crossroads for where you want to go. Straight ahead for Telluride or turn left for Ouray. Would highly recommend this place.

Over the 14 yrs our son has lived here we have stayed a lot of places & this is our favorite. We have stayed here at least 4 times & it feels like home. It’s very clean & fresh & decorated with historic photos of the area. The kitchen is well furnished. The bed was fabulous! From the little upstairs front porch you look across the highway (from a respectful distance👍) to the fairgrounds & almost into town, from the back deck, it’s quiet, you look across a green field with cows, towards the Cimarrons. Over the years we’ve kind of gotten to know Bob & Mary Beth. Nice folks. We’ll be booking agsin for this fall.
