Our family really enjoyed this quick get away. The beach was beautiful. The location was great, close to Rehoboth and the shopping centers but far enough away to find real relaxation!
The house was adorable and furnished beautifully! The deck on th back was great and we put it to good use every evening.
We were 3 adults and the only thing we wished was that there was another half bathroom.. but that's the only negative thing I can say.
Loved it , will come again!

Friends and I have stayed here for a week for three summers. The location couldn't be better -- a lovely deck overlooks the marsh, opportunity to spot birds galore; and the beach is just beyond the dunes on the other side of the street.
The beach is uncrowded, even in August, and perfect for long walks. My dog was in heaven chasing the sand crabs. Mild waves for kids, since the beach is on the Bay, not the ocean.
The house is equipped with everything you need, especially in the newly renovated kitchen.
The double bed in the front room is comfortable, quiet, and surprisingly private.
I'll be back!

We really enjoyed the access to the sandy bay beach across the street. We spent a lot of our time there. The spacious deck was great for morning coffee and a night cap. The view from the deck was beautiful, very peaceful listening to the birds. The kitchen was also great! We made many of our meals there and enjoyed eating on the deck.

Relaxing beach retreat with amazing bird watching from the back deck. Pictures hadn’t been updated before our stay to show the beautiful updated kitchen! Definitely recommend for a family of 4 looking for a low key, quiet beach vacation.

Overall not very clean. Appliances work but dishwasher is not installed well. Ice maker does not work. Back yard perfect for dogs. Proximity to beach and beach access EXCELLENT! Thank you. We had a great vacation.

Our family wanted a nice long weekend getaway to kick off summer. This was perfect! With the wetlands in the back yard and a fishing beach across the street, it was so relaxing! We like to stay in quiet areas. We drove to Lewes and Rehobeth for a swimming beach and dinner/entertainment. I also love that this house was pet friendly. Our dogs are very well behaved. It is so much better to be able to bring them with us. Also, it was their first time on the beach which made it extra fun.

Was very happy with the property and the nice quiet location on the shore. Off to fun activities. Nice quiet treat as well. Walking distance to great little ice cream, chowder, and grill. The back deck is probably the best feature of this house. Fantastic views, and a lot of room on the deck.

This is an ideal beach house -- sunrise on the beach just across the road; sunset over the wetlands from the back deck. Super beach for long walks. Great blue herons, ibises, osprey among the visitors. Very few other people on the beach in mid-September. Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen. We'll be back!

The property was very clean and we had a wonderful time. We went with a child, infant, and our two dogs. Check-in was slightly delayed due to the cleaning service, but we had no complaints. They did a fantastic job. The only minor complaint of the whole trip was some of the flies at the beach, but the owner has no responsibility for that. We would gladly stay again for future trips!

My family with young children had a wonderful time. The rental was a very close walk to a quiet beach with low waves, perfect for little ones. Our mornings and evenings were spent on the back deck overlooking the beautiful wildlife reserve.
The house was comfortable with nice open floor plan that had everything you need. I recommend.

Would definitely stay here again. It’s a quiet spot away from the crowds but close enough drive to Lewes and Rehobeth for dinner. Fun biking at the state park and through Lewes.

We had a great time at your vacation home. We had a few visitors which was wonderful. We caught a lot of crabs on the dock . The neighbors let us use. We would like to come down again next year same time. The only thing we couldn't get any sports on the tv. Our vacation was so relaxing loved it
Thank you

The house had a wonderful view of the wetlands with lots of bird activity making for a relaxing morning cup of coffee.

This house was very clean, and the master guest room bed was very comfortable. There are a LOT of steps going into the house. Was difficult to carry luggage, coolers etc. up and down. Nice view of the marsh and birds. Very quiet neighborhood. Not much to do in the area other than beach and bike. House is really most comfortable for 4 people, 2 adults and 2 children. The third bed is located in the front porch area with a table directly adjacent to it. No privacy and curtains let in all the light from outside. There is a private beach directly across from the house and they allow dogs. Both of these things were bonuses.

Amazing! Property was better than described!
Morning coffee on the beach watching the sun rise and beautiful sunsets from the deck overlooking the preserve.
House was very clean and stocked with everything you could want or need. You feel at home the moment you walk through the door. Location could not get any better. So quiet at night but yet close enough to everything within a 15 minute ride. Coming back to this home after a long day of sightseeing is all you could ask for.
If you are looking for the best place to stay in Delaware, this is it!

What a great little house across the street from the beach. Literally a 1 minute walk! Clean secluded beach & met the nicest people walking on the beach. Has a nice large deck to enjoy & the view of the sunsets are amazing! Perfect house for a small family! Everything you need is there as far as cooking! 2 tables inside, we used the one on the porch to do puzzles! Our dogs enjoyed as well! Dogfish head brewery 15 min away! I would absolutely recommend staying here!

This was our first stay in Broadkill Beach. House was lovely, clean, and as expected based on pictures and reviews. Superb cleaning before arrival!! Probably the cleanest beach property I have ever stayed at. The marsh view was spectacular and it really took us away from our daily lives/stress. Beach is a short walk across the road and over the dune. House is about 20 minutes from the closest store which was nice because you feel like you are really away from it all, yet close enough to services. Thank you for a great stay!

This house has EVERYTHING you need for the perfect quiet stay at Broadkill Beach. We watched Fox, Osprey, Deer and many birds off the back deck. We enjoyed the short walk just across the street to the bay beach. My daughter and I woke early to flip Horseshoe Crabs with other early risers on the beach. This is just a short drive to the Rehoboth Boardwalk, for days when you want to enjoy what that offers. The Broadkill Store is just a 1 minute drive for Donuts, Supplies, Ice Cream and delicious cheesesteaks! We will 100% be back to this beach house.

Very clean and well kept. The views out the back looking over the Nature Preserve were amazing. The walk to the beach was easy. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Super awesome beach vacation with my husband and 2 dogs. Dog friendly beaches and neighborhood, right across the street which was super convenient. It is on the bay, so calmer and warmer. Close enough to the hustle and bustle of Rohoboth to go for dinner and the boardwalk. Super clean and welcoming and plenty of space. Would go back again in a heartbeat.

My husband & I absolutely loved our stay at Broadkill Beach with our 2 dogs. The home is beautiful. Very cozy & clean. If you sleep in the front room you can hear the waves all night. Back room has immediate access to the beautiful deck. Plenty of space for us. We saw some spectacular sunsets from the back deck! Literally a minute walk from the beach. Your backyard is a wildlife nature preserve. So relaxing & quiet. We saw many amazing birds. Close to Lewes & Rheboth if you want to eat out in a restaurant. Very dog friendly beach. Convenient outdoor shower at the property. There are bugs at the beach & out back in evenings-make sure to bring bug spray. I highly recommend this property & Broadkill Beach!

I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the property! It was much nicer than it appeared in the photos. Everything was clean and in order. The house was comfortable and inviting. It was just perfect for our family of five which includes me, my husband, our two adult children and our 7 year old son... We enjoyed our mornings and evenings on the large back deck. The view of the marsh was beautiful! And it was so peaceful. We even spotted a red fox out in the marsh one morning... I would definitely recommend the location to friends. This was just the vacation we wanted! My husband and sons enjoyed fishing on the beach and went crabbing off the bridge. The beach was never crowded, and we even had some waves on the bay to do some body surfing. We spent some time at Cape Henlopen State Park as well as Lewes. The Striper Bite Restaurant had a great menu and delicious food. We can't wait to return to Broadkill Beach!

This is my families 2nd time at Broadkill Beach and the first time facing the refuge. It was really relaxing to watch all the birds. We fell in love with the huge Osprey nest. We spent hours watching the adults fish and teaching the young ones to fly! The back deck is very private. The house has everything you would need for a small group. The queen size bed out on the enclosed porch had no door but that did not bother us at all. We had 4 adults and 1 child. Great time!

This home at the beach was a great find for us. We have one in our family that's beachfront up on the north end but we needed more room this time. What a great spot this turned out to be. The home is on the marsh side with beautiful views of the Broadkill river & Sound as well as the Delaware bay...this is a 3 views house! The beds & furniture are excellent as well. The wild life you see from the deck is awesome, Blue Heron, Osprey nests, & Red Fox. I would check the cleaning crew a little closer but all and all it was a great stay and I would highly recommend a visit here.

My family enjoyed this home and can’t wait to go back. The back deck is relaxing and over looks the marsh and wildlife. The beach is right across the street and a very short walk. The home has everything we needed and the renovations were beautiful. It was cozy and peaceful. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

The property was nice, the location was great. It was a quiet area, but no too far from stores, shopping.

We loved the location of this house--the views, the privacy, that it was within quick distance to all of the more touristy spots without the crowds! Comfortable beds, stocked kitchen and within footsteps to the beach! Couldn't have asked for anything better!

Lockbox great way to pick up keys. Downsides were only 1 bathroom and lots of steps. Pictures deceiving---thought house was on beach and closer to Lewes!

The house was so cozy and comfortable! I loved the shabby-chic-beach decor and loved that the house had a lot of natural light! The view of the marsh from the deck was beautiful, and we got to watch an osprey on her nest. It was a short walk to the bay beach, so we enjoyed that.
My husband and I also loved the peacefulness of the location. We both relaxed and slept well.
We will definitely be back!
My only suggestion is that people should be told they need to bring single-ply toilet paper. We had to go shopping since we had brought 2-ply. 😉
Thanks for a great vacation!
