Our stay was wonderful! The property was as scenic as advertised. Sunsets are awesome and the reflection of the sunrise off of the homes across the lake was awe-inspiring! We’d hoped to utilize the kayaks and canoes, but time just got away from us. Our host was so nice when we needed an electric pump for our inner tubes, and super responsive the couple of times we reached out. The scenery and location make this place perfect!

We had a great time at the house for a long weekend. An easy drive to places of interest including several wineries and the town of Geneva. It was great to be right on the water with amenities provided like kayaks, beach gear, a fire pit, and more. Would stay again!

This is our 4th annual friend trip and the house was just what we needed. We aren’t too picky when it comes to lake cabins as long as it fits everyone (we generally focus more on location, views, and outdoor space) but this place exceeded our expectations. It comfortably slept 6 of us (could have fit even more). The air conditioning was perfect because the days were hot. The sunroom (and living room too) had beautiful views for our one rainy evening . The porch was my favorite, I spent every morning out there. I loved that the sun set over the lake so we felt like we had longer days.
The kitchen was spacious and we were able to grill, have fires, swim, and relax. Having two bathrooms was a nice bonus! And the dogs were also super comfortable :)
One fun surprise was that when we were walking we found a back entrance to the state park! (There is a pass available for if we wanted to drive over which was about 5 minutes away). But the back entrance was about a half mile and we found it on one of our morning runs! The neighborhood was quiet and friendly . The hosts were easy to contact but we didn’t even need to! Everything went so smoothly.
We had a great time and would definitely come back!

Thank you Sandra! Our group had a great time at the cabin lounging on the dock, kayaking and exploring the finger lakes. The property was beautiful and conveniently located, parking was easy, and check in was convenient.

So the pictures on line were VERY inaccurate ( not good ) very dated , the place was not clean, pot and pans were not good , there were spider webs everywhere. The deck was gross and unsafe. The front of the house was not attractive at all, very cluttered house, the stereo on the fire place was not pleasant, there were air conditioning units not central air, THE PLACE NEEDS A LOT OF WORK !!!!

Property was even better than advertised. Right on Seneca Lake with its famous sunsets. Many toys and game for our 4 year old granddaughter. We had a great stay!

Right on the water, quiet neighborhood, lots of deck space and dock. Plenty of room inside, big kitchen for group prep and cooking. Amazing sun porch, we spent so much time in there, unbelievable sunsets. Plenty of books, movies and games to use. Close to wineries and breweries, yet away from the traffic and noise.

Great home location! Close and commanding view of the lake. Loved the trees, the sun room looking out on the lake and closeness to many wineries and only 20 mins. or so to Geneva. A perfect home for a visit with family and/or friends. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable kitchen table. Easy walk to Sampson State Park. Definitely would return. Greatly enjoyed the beautiful sun sets. The owner was very easy to work with and very responsive.

Sandra and Greg Busby provided us with the perfect solution to our needs while attending the local dog shows. Their house had enough space for our group. In addition, it allowed us to easily swim our dogs in the lake. We highly recommend this house and the Busby's hospitality.

The house was clean and easy to access. Great parking. The dock and fire pit were perfect for gathering. The sunsets were gorgeous and so nice to watch from the house and the dock. Perfect space to cook and eat. Very happy with our stay. 9 women and we were very comfortable.

Everything was perfect!! The house has everything!! Kitchen is so well stocked. The sunsets are just breathtaking!! We used the kayaks and bikes and had a blast. It was really great to be right next to Sampson State Park where we could ride the bikes. Most of our time at the house was spent sitting in the cozy sunroom. Also, so close to so many wineries. Only about a half hour to Watkins Glen State Park, which is a must see and do. The Gorge Trail was amazing!! Great communication with Sandra. We would totally stay here again. Thanks again Sandra!!

Family vacation and toured the wineries. Close to everything. Place is a little dated, but overall would recommend to anyone going to the Finger Lakes!

Overall our stay was fabulous! Great location, very spacious, and lots to offer including kayaks, lake floaties, games, etc. only complaint was there are areas in the house with some water damage, and at night there is an excessive amount of spiders outside surrounding the front door. Otherwise, would definitely stay here again!

The location of this rental is excellent. The views of Lake Seneca are stunning. We saw a Bald Eagle, osprey, hummingbirds, gulls, and Canada Geese. The property is well-equipped for water recreation and the kitchen has everything a chef could need.

The extra large, modern, well-stocked kitchen made meal preps so easy. Loved using the modern, convenient laundry appliances. Plenty of sitting areas inside and out. Every household supply was thoughtfully stocked. Watching the lake, the birds*, beautiful sunsets, going for long walks, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, shoreline fossil hunting, campfires, touring White Deer Haven and the military museum at Sampson Park all made for an enchanting Finger Lakes family vacation. Plenty of peace, quiet and privacy.

This was a nice place to accommodate two families. Right on the water and all the amenities you need. The steps to the dock are a little intimidating if you have trouble up/down steps. Overall, nice vacation in a very quiet area.

Great experience from start to finish. My wife and I found this property while looking for a place to stay for during our Christmas visit home to my parents. This location was perfect for the two of us and my brother and his family. The house was convenient to our parents' home as well as our other friends nearby, just a few minutes drive to town/stores, and the nearby state park was a great spot to walk our dogs.
Owners made communication very easy. Their information and instructions was clear and easily accessible. We all instantly felt very comfortable here after our respective long travels back to the Finger Lakes. Best stocked rental kitchen I've seen, hands down. Made preparing our holiday dishes to share souch easier.
Dog-friendly premises and the location was greatly appreciated by our 2 pets, who felt equally at ease here.
We all very much appreciate what a lovingly appointed property this is. It helped make our family holiday so special.

The house was as advertised; comfortable, well stocked kitchen, and a beautiful sunroom with awesone views of the lake. We enjoyed a campfire in the fire pit on the beach. Sandra is a great host. She is easy to get a hold of and made excellent recommendations. If we ever decide to stay on the east shore of Seneca Lake, we will most definately be back at this property.

My husband and I stayed for a few days and lucked out with beautiful weather in late October. Sitting outside is quite windy being right on the lake, but the warm weather helped. On our last afternoon we sat in the sun room which was very warm and comfortable on a 70 degree day. The house was comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed, especially the kitchen. The location is nice and quiet, being 15-20 minutes from most wineries but a few were less than 10 minutes away. There aren’t any grocery stores nearby (none that we found, anyway) so if you’re planning on cooking at the house you may want to grocery shop on your way. I was a little worried with the driveway being across the street, as Sandra and Greg allowed us to bring our dog. But the road is straight and relatively quiet so we ended up having no safety concerns once we arrived.
Sandra and Greg were wonderful hosts. We will return on our next trip to the finger lakes!
