About this apartment rental
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION
Ideally located on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool deck with glorious mountain views. Our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo is the perfect location year-round, but especially during ski season with its ski-in/ski-out access to Chair 15 and Eagle Lodge. Elevator access is convenient and nearby.
All the amenities you'd expect from a top-notch resort are here, including a large outdoor swimming pool (heated year-round), three hot tubs, two barbecues, business center, fitness center, and bocce ball court, and underground parking. Xbox can be rented from the front desk at no charge until 10 pm.
On the inside you will find the creature comforts of home, a gas fireplace, microwave oven, dishwasher, blender, high speed internet, 50-inch flat screen Sharp Roku TV (w/ Apple TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.), ceiling fans in each room and two portable fans. Both bedrooms are appointed with king-size beds, and there's a queen-size sofa sleeper in the living room. Laundry facilities are a short distance down the hall. The unit is equipped with a fully stocked kitchen with cutlery, pots and pan, Keurig coffee maker, cooking spices and more.
Beyond the abundance of outdoor activities -- golfing, hiking, fishing, biking, horseback riding, cycling, kayaking, tubing, canoeing, hot air ballooning, etc. -- the town of Mammoth offers a nice medley of restaurants, bars, boutiques and day spas.
Mammoth has a growing arts and cultural scene with performing arts, live music, and arts and crafts festivals throughout the year. Mammoth Festival of Beers and Bluesapalooza is a perennial favorite and runs the first weekend in August.
It's worth noting Juniper Springs Resort is the ideal launch pad for your national park adventure. The eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is an easy 50-minute drive by traveling north on Highway 395 to Highway 120 (Tioga Road). Travel time from Mammoth Lakes to the Yosemite Valley is approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes.
You may also enjoy Mammoth Hot Springs, Devils Post pile, Horseshoe Lake, Owens Valley River, San Joaquin River, Lake Crowley, Mt. Whitney, Yosemite, Mono Lake, Death Valley, the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest, Bodie State Historic Park -- a genuine California gold-mining ghost town, and Hot Creek Trout Hatchery Trout. Valentine Eastern Sierra Reserve, which is part of the University of California Natural Reserve System. Mammoth Creek flows through the site, bordered by high mountain riparian vegetation. The entrance is just beyond the resort property line, behind the pool.
We hope we have piqued your interest and inspired your sense of adventure. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

We ate the main meal of the day out, but the kitchen is well stocked if you wanted to do make meals there.
4.8
The kitchen is stocked for all imaginable needs never have i found that in any Air b and b yet with pancake griddle and pots for all sizes mixing bowls and whisks!!!Plenty of utensils and varying bowls, plates cups sizes for several days additionally the microwave/oven and the oven with ease to dial in temp. easy to use with pull out cutting board and full knife rack. The bedding and linens soft and welcoming for quick to rest for the slopes! The location ideal and covered parking for the unpredictable mammoth weather, we had a blizzard of 2 feet on arrival with winds that left 2-foot visibility but a lift and runs near to allow for some lower-level skiing that fit the beginning of the trip! The thermostat fireplace so cozy for my floor exercises pre ski day was the best way to start my every day, with balcony doors open post skiing to cool off the room. This is the first VBRO that I found my family and i would lounge in the L shaped seated couch of the family room instead of separating to lay in the bedroom après ski. I was so grateful for the connecting love we shared in the trip well overdue that Karen was more generous kind and genuine to my needs! Will definitely keep her as my friend in Mammoth and her loving home she shared fully!

This was a really great stay. We have stayed at Juniper Springs Lodge many times before but this VRBO really is better. We love cooking and the kitchen was well stocked! The location of the unit on the 3rd floor meant you could ski to the back door and walk straight across at the same level to take a lunch break. There is a view of the hot tubs, which makes it easier to keep an eye on when it is not crowded. It was so comfortable and convenient! Everything was well explained and we appreciate the attention to detail.

Such a great condo and location. We had all the amenities we needed and more for a comfortable stay. Thank you so much! We will be back!

Perfect location with all of the amenities that make staying away the same as being at home but with more adventure !! We loved the ease of getting around all of mammoth from our unit. We would definitely stay at this location again and again

Located within the Junipers Springs Resort, this Condo was cosy, authentic, modern and very comfortable. The Condo was so close to everything. It took 5 minutes from Eagle Lodge to be inside the Condo. Parking was easy too

Great location and beautiful property. Clean place with nice amenities. Host was very kind and checked on us during our stay to see if we needed anything. This will be my go to place if I ever come back to Mammoth.

We had a lovely time staying at this beautiful condo. Everything was comfortable, clean and had an open roomy feeing. The views were spectacular. Karen quickly answered any questions we had and was so nice. The pool and hot tubs were great and very clean. It was quiet and peaceful, and yet conveniently located for sightseeing and restaurants. We would stay there again.

Karen was very easy to work with. We needed to change the dates of our Mammoth
trip because we were unable to get to the mountain due to the weather in the spring. She kindly adjusted our dates with no extra fee. The condo was very clean and perfect location. We even had a few ski in/out days in May before they closed the Eagle lift for the season. We will definitely stay there again.

Karen is a charming and knowledgeable super host. She gives detailed instructions to make your stay easy, responds quickly, and is super helpful.
The condo at Juniper Spring Lodge is fantastic, has coverage parking(!) and an outstanding ski-in/ski-out location just steps away from Eagle Lodge where you can get everything your family needs for a great ski vacation.
We look forward to putting Karen’s retreat into our regular rotation.

Road closures due to the blizzard prevented us from making it to the property, but Karen was so kind and accommodating and let us move our stay. Her communication was great from the start and we could tell that she took great care of her property and her guests.

A buddy and I came up for three days and we had a great time. The condo was very comfortable, the kitchen was supplied with items to cook a meal, the beds were very comfortable. Overall a great spot. We came before the eagle lodge and lift opened so we were not able to walk straight out to the lift. We ended up taking our car up to the mill station. However, we did ski down practically into the garage, which was awesome.

Enjoyed our stay, love being in Eastern Sierra area. Will be back!

Fabulous host! Fabulous property! Fabulous location! Fabulous experience! As a former long-time VRBO Host, I know how challenging it can be to professionally manage a rental property. Karen did an exceptional job of making the process easy from reservation inception to departure. She was extremely responsive and accomodating. We will be going back for sure.

Amazing location and a wonderful condo. The owner was super nice and very easy to reach.

Highly recommended! We stayed for 5 days and had the most wonderful time. Very clean condo! Comfortable beds, 3 tv's, gorgeous balcony with an amazing view!! The pool is wonderfully heated and there are 3 hot tubs! All with the backdrop of the mountains! Very kid friendly! Right in town close to everything! I can't say enough about this listing. And Karen was the perfect host. Very quick to respond and very kind. I highly recommended this place for winter or summer. Perfect location! We will forsure return. Thanks Karen!

We couldn't have asked for more with this property. Clear and concise instructions for check-in and check-out. The facility and all the amenities on the property are well maintained. Walking distance to Eagle Express chairlift. We were also able to use the Juniper Lodge shuttle to take us to dinner. Three out of the two hot tubs were open. We were sure to use them after skiing. The pool was also warm and inviting. We would definitely stay here again.

Karen’s 2 bedroom condo is one of the best rental I’ve stayed in so far and it was perfect for our family snowboarding trip! Condo is clean, fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. There are plenty of extra supplies (towels, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.) and board games as well. We really feel like we are at home. Laundry room is just down the hall so you don’t need to pack up lots of things.
Location, location, location!!! Eagle lodge is just few minutes walk. Super convenient, especially when you are bringing your little skier/snowboarder.
The unit is a tad warm even with the thermostat all the way down but that’s not an issue for us, we just opened up the window for some cool fresh air.
Karen is very responsive with any communication before and during our stay. Self check-in and check-out process is quick and very simple.
My only 2 recommendations would be:
1) Installing a swing bar door latch to the front door will add security for families traveling with a toddler. Our toddler can easily open the door and bolted out if we don’t watch her closely hahaha.
2) Maybe add a medium size pot for the kitchen? There are plenty of pans with various sizes but there are only 2 pots: one small one and one really big one. So it’s either we are making soup for one or for 10 people, nothing in between lol…
Overall we truly enjoyed our stay at Karen’s condo. We will definitely rent this unit again for our future family snowboarding trip.
