Great location to relax and explore! Close to hiking and the city. Also in a secluded area which was great to relax in the mornings.

Where do I start! There are so many amazing things about the cozy cottage, I’m not sure where to begin!
As soon as we traveled down the driveway to this nature-inspired home, I knew we would Love it!
The house is immaculate, the grounds are absolutely beautiful!! From our porch we could take different walks/hikes around the property! The Zen Casita is quite a treat, as well as the choice of 2 amazing firepits! The owners could not have been nicer, and quick to respond if we had any questions. Their dogs Ziggy & Cashel are part of the welcome committee:)) we actually took Ziggy on some of our hikes around the property because not only did our dog Eli love him, but we also grew very fond of him too!
The location is so close to downtown Weaverville with so many amazing places to eat, drink and shop. A short drive to the blue ridge parkway for admiring the amazing views! Bent creek is about a 20-minute drive for some awesome mountain biking and the Davidson river area is about a 45minute drive. If you enjoy mountain biking check out the new butter gap and black mtn trails.
This is our second time staying at this magical place and we will definitely be back again! It is a hidden GEM & has become our "Home away from home!"
Thank You Janie, John and Ziggy

Exceeded expectations. We stayed for 5 nights and it felt like home. So close to everything we wanted to do and the owners made great suggestions since it was our first time in the Asheville area. The scenery around the cottage was spectacular and coffee at the Casita was a highlight. We enjoyed the visits from their dog Ziggy and it was the perfect place to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. The owners suggestions for eating out in town were very helpful. Look forward to going back some day!

Cute , well thought out one bedroom stay . Location to Asheville, and Blue ridge Parkway is perfect. Breakfast at yellow Mug to begin each adventure day was perfect. Just think some light for steps leading up to cabin door would help .would definitely stay again . Hosts are very hospitable.

The Cozy Cottage is incredibly charming and was perfect for a little getaway for myself and my husband with our 2 dogs. The owner, Janie, was very sweet and available for any questions we may have had. Do be aware, although a private space and separate from the main house, it is on the same property as the owners home. They have an absolutely beautiful, sprawling property with trails through the woods, a private fire pit and the cutest “Zen Casita” with chairs to hangout and enjoy the outdoor air.
The home is about a 15ish minute drive to downtown Asheville, but if you are looking for a peaceful getaway to the mountain forests this is the place for you!
Would definitely recommend!

Janie and John were the perfect hosts. They communicated with me throughout the stay to assure, everything was to my liking. I was admitted to the hospital for 24 hours and they took care of my dog.
Their place is just like the pictures and it was beautiful. My dog and I liked to swing on the porch for hours. It was very peaceful and serene and less than 2 miles from downtown Weaverville.
I highly recommend staying with them. They went out of their way to make me feel home. In addition, their adorable pup Ziggy is so friendly and liked to chill with my dog and I.
I couldn’t have had a better respite!

We loved the time we spent at this upmarket cottage -- a spacious, comfortable, and quiet spot surrounded by trees. It served every need we had and then some, with a fire pit, a casita overlooking a grove, and a lengthy walking trail right outside the front door. My favorite things about the property: a porch overlooking the forest, where I started every day with a book and a cup of coffee; the proximity to the quaint village of Weaverville; and easy access to wonderful hikes and a thousand other things to do in Asheville. The property owners have a house on the same plot of land, but they're very friendly and considerate of their guests' privacy. We were more than happy to host the occasional visit from Ziggy, their awesome and personable dog. We could not have been happier with our stay.

Thank you to the hosts for a lovely stay! Perfectly located outside of downtown Weaverville, we found this the ideal location to explore the vicinity. We particularly enjoyed the peaceful setting with pretty views to the woods, sitting on the porch listening to the birds and of course, playing with Ziggy!

Wr couldn’t have been happier with our long weekend here. Location felt perfect, about 15 mins to everything Asheville has to offer, 5 mins into Weaverville restaurants and shopping, and 10 mins to some great hiking, all while feeling very private and peaceful. Cottage was well equipped with everything we needed, and owners were attentive while also giving us our space. Great getaway for couples..

My partner and I stayed with Janie and John for a little weekend getaway, on our maiden voyage to Asheville.. Our stay was great!! Janie and John were very friendly and inviting, and the property in person was how it appeared online. My partner and I were very appreciative of how clean and cozy the property was, and we would definitely stay again in the future.. Thank you soo very much Janie and John for your hospitality, and for a very wonderful experience!

We enjoyed our time at this lovely condo. The condo is spacious with a secluded patio area where we enjoyed most of our breakfasts during our stay. The grounds and pools at the property are beautiful. Such a great central loccation with Kamaole III beach just a short walk away, and all of Kihei's or Wailea's beautiful beaches and dining options within a few minutes drive. We would happily return!

My wife and I spent a weekend away in this cottage and it was well worth it. Close to everything, yet feels like you're tucked away. Excellent hosts that answer any questions you have.

Nice area and the property is well set-up and enjoyable.

It is a great place for two for a weekend getaway to the mountains not far from Asheville, and only a few minutes from Weaverville. The property was very comfortable, pet friendly, and has a great trail to walk. The only issue we had were ticks that we and our dogs picked up when we did the on site hike for the first time. That was remedied quickly with some insect spray and is probably just a seasonal issue.

Weekend getaway. About 15 min drive to downtown Asheville. About 25-30 min to the Biltmore. Clean. Cozy.

This cottage is the perfect getaway! Quiet, peaceful, clean and well-equipped. We enjoyed accessing the nature trail on the property, as well as the proximity to town (both Weaverville & Asheville). Janie was a lovely, responsive host and we hope to book with her again on our next trip to Asheville.

We had the best time staying here! There are very few places that I can walk into and automatically feel at home. Our doggies joined us and slept great on the way home because of all the fun they had exploring the property. We felt so secluded, yet just a few minute drive to great food & coffee. Hope to be back soon!

We had a wonderful 5 day visit in Weaverville staying at Janie and John’s delightful Cozy Cottage. Cozy is the perfect definition of the cottage. It is warm and inviting and well appointed. We had some rain and spent some quiet time inside, but when the sun came out we walked our dog on the beautifully maintained trails right outside the door. The location to Weaversville made it very easy to grab breakfast or dinner. We definitely hope to be back soon, thank you Janie and John!

It was like a private retreat in a most beautiful setting. We had everything we needed. It is located in a great area not far from the downtown area but far enough to be out of the busy city.

Close to downtown Asheville. Cottage was spacious for two. Had a nice porch swing to sit on and enjoy the wooded area or read. Friendly owners that give you your privacy. They did have a friendly pup that would come by to say hi. Really enjoyed the 1 mile trail on property. The shower was a bit tricky. Very enjoyable stay.

The cozy cottage is exactly as advertised. Perfectly located just a few minutes from Weaverville and a quick drive to all that Asheville has to offer. Very clean, comfy bed and all necessary amenities. We brought our dogs and plenty of room for them as well.

We really enjoyed our stay. The above garage cabin was beautiful and nicely appointed. Pictures and description are accurate. Wonderful property and peaceful casita with swings. Approximately 1 mile from Weaverville, which has some nice restaurants and breweries; 15 - 20 minutes from most of Asheville. Highly recommended!

Nice "cozy cottage".

Janie and John are wonderful hosts. The cottage is much more charmingly artistic and beautifully designed than expected. It was serene, pristine, and fully provided.
The area is gorgeous and the cottage is tucked in the edge of gentle woods with trails and wildlife and beautiful views. Weaverville village is lovely and the cottage is just an easy short ride from downtown Asheville.
My mini golden doodle, Lilly, and I relaxed and total enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend these dog-loving hosts and this little piece of heaven in the mountains.

We loved staying at this property. It is so comfortable and truly cozy. The owner and hostess, Janie, was wonderful. It is tucked back on her property which is beautiful. There are hiking trails, a couple of fire pits and casita! Rest and relax here. It is a short hop over to the cute little town of Weaverville and close to West Asheville and Candler. We will go back and highly recommend this for your getaway in the woods.

I was supposed to take my first solo trip overseas to London, England and due to some unforeseen circumstances, I had to cancel my trip there. Very quickly I had to book something new and decided to stay local and avoid the summer chaos of air travel.
I came across Janie & John’s cottage near Asheville, NC and instantly fell in love and booked it.
Not only do the photos of the cottage on the listing show you exactly what you will see, your expectations will be exceeded. The property has enough space to feel secluded with some privacy, but you’re not at all far from the owners/locals who can help you with whatever you need.
Janie was very prompt in responding to any of my messages and inquiries and the check-in process was very smooth. They are very kind people and will visit with you if you’d like to get to know them a bit and they’re huge dog lovers, so this is a fantastic place for pets! I even had plenty of room to set up my dog’s crate for when I needed to venture out alone.
I found lots of solitude in this cottage and around the property on the private trails and at the casita. Many windows invite natural light during the day so electricity isn’t very necessary until the sun goes down.
The kitchen was well-equipped with just about everything you need to cook.
Best of all, even though it felt secluded and private, it was conveniently situated just 15 minutes or so from downtown Asheville and only about 20 from the Biltmore entrance.
The cottage was comfortable and clean enough to my dog and me that we didn’t feel the need to leave the property for an entire day. It’s great for people who want to get away but don’t feel like roughing it.
Thank you Janie and John for making our stay so comfortable and memorable! We will definitely be booking again in the future!
